What Brought Down Russian Satellite? Angela Merkel’s Biggest Fear? Plus Ukraine Election Prediction

This is a follow-up to my last article: Russia’s Moves: Outlawing GMO and Putin’s Holy Grail Gas Deal with China. In addition to the GMO and Russia/China gas mega-deal, I have discussed Angela Merkel, the Chancellor of Germany. Please go to the link to see what I said.

In response to my words about #Merkel, I received this very interesting comment from a regular reader of this blog and I thought it was so telling that I decided to create a new article by responding to it. Pieter’s comments are always sharp. However, this one perhaps underlines the confusions that exist in the EU. Please forgive me that I am not mincing words. This is because we are talking very serious issues and sometimes you need to say it straight in order to get through the mud of confusion.

Merkel fears an escalation. I’m fearing that too. That internet satellite Russia launched last week was shot down. By a ufo, an unknown weapon of the US forces, I don’t know. But that satellite was brought down. Certain evolutions are confusing me. Let’s wait what the may 25 elections will bring for Ukraine.”

I know the Russian satellite was brought down. I saw it (I don’t mean on TV or Internet). This was a very advanced satellite and it appears lost, which means the investigation will be difficult. I think it is sabotage, rather than a weapon, although I wouldn’t completely rule it out. No UFO or aliens here. Russians are not talking about it because they don’t want escalation either and because they need to investagate first. USA’s goal is this: they really want Russia to lose it so they could re-start cold war and blame it on Russia.

I want to explain why I believe it may be sabotage rather than a weapon: Presently, many are going crazy on the Internet, inventing all kinds of alien and exotic weapons. Sabotage doesn’t require any special technology. It can be an electronics malfunction, for example. Or it could be embedded electronic signature or programming backdoor, which allows the system to function normally unless and until it is activated via a specific radar signal. Several years ago there was another similar situation and the satellite was at the time over the Western hemisphere. Russians were pretty sure it was radar activation, but of course US denied it and it was impossible to prove.
Judging by people’s comments and reaction, it seems no one actually knows that something like 10-14 years ago, to demonstrate its cooperation with the US, Russia outsourced part of its space craft electronics to the US. Ever since, they started having problems. As I said in comments, there were, I believe, two other instances in the past few years. I personally know one rocket scientist in Princeton, NJ, who is involved with Russian cargo space craft projects, much like Proton M which just crashed. He, and others like him, go to Baikonur all the time. These are all very nice people, but all you need is one rotten apple.
I can predict with high level of confidence that all this outsourcing will end soon.

In my last: Russia’s Moves: Outlawing GMO and Putin’s Holy Grail Gas Deal with China, I did say that Russia will stop supplying rocket engines to the US. I didn’t say why, but this is clearly connected to the downed Russian satellite. Just look at the timing! I wouldn’t be surprised if Russia stopped taking Americans to the ISS. Russia is trying very hard NOT to pull the plug on Americans’ flights to the ISS via Soyuz. The reason: Russia wants to send a message of cooperation to the world community. However, if Americans continue provoking Russia like this, Russians may change their mind.

Note, US is really playing with fire here. Their hope that Russia will lose it won’t materialize, but something they are not expecting, will.

As I predicted many times before, USA will never be in a direct armed conflict with Russia – again, this is due to Russia’s level-headed policy, and despite USA’s reckless behavior. What USA really wants right now is a new cold war, although they wouldn’t say no to a hot local war on the European continent either. They also want a major rift between Europe and Russia, thus slowing down EU – Russia cooperation and breeding as much distrust as possible, so they could continue manipulating the gullible Europe. Of course, they also desperately want to sabotage Russia – China relationship – this part isn’t working for them at all as China and Russia aren’t taking the bait.

All this is done in order to continue exporting US problems so that to delay USA’s impending collapse. And because of Merkel’s and EU’s behavior relative to Ukraine and Russia, they are achieving it! This is how Hitler came to power – everyone was looking the other way or tried to appease him. US and UK refused to sign a defence alliance deal with Stalin, although he repeatedly proposed it, because they didn’t want to deal with the USSR. This opened the way for Hitler to attack Europe, and then USSR, resulting in 100 million dead and devastation of the whole continent. To this day, Europe is refusing to learn from history, and this will be Europe’s downfall.

You can’t appease a super-bully; you can’t look the other way when someone is being mistreated next to you, because super-bully will come for you next! If Merkel had announced that she was at least neutral on Ukraine, if she didn’t support the US every step of the way, if the US were isolated, none of this would have happened.

Merkel swallowed the NSA spying and the German gold story like it was nothing. Hugs and smiles with Obama and business as usual. Yes, EU and Germany are afraid of the US. EU/Germany have a huge trade volume with the US and they are terrified US will sabotage it, putting an end to Europe’s fragile stability and high standard of living. Also, the US possesses a plethora of financial leverage over the EU as they had demonstrated in the past few years by attacking the Greek, Spanish, Italian, and even German bonds.

But there is more: the EU and Germany had ulterior motives in Ukraine – they wanted cheap Ukrainian work force and Ukraine markets. This is why they preferred not to see the truth about Ukraine and Russia. And now they are reaping what they have sown.

Moreover, I understand very well Merkel not wanting escalation, but her behavior doesn’t fall into this pattern. She is afraid, mortally afraid of something more.

If she really didn’t want escalation, why did she support the Kiev coup? If she is that smart, she couldn’t figure out that stepping on Russia’s and Ukraine Russian-speakers’ toes would cause an explosion EU would not be able to control? I warned this would happen, as some other smart people did. It wasn’t that hard to see.

Why did she push to sign that bogus EU association agreement at the expense of Ukraine’s trade relations with Russia, which was an insulting ultimatum to Yanukovich and catastrophe for Ukraine’s economy? Why did she never take Russia’s very reasonable proposal to have a 3-party (Russia/EU/Ukraine) discussion about Ukraine’s status, debts and future? I could go on and on…

Pieter, what you say about Merkel doesn’t hold water whatsoever. And waiting to see what Ukraine May 25th elections bring won’t clarify anything that isn’t already clear.

Here is my prediction: Ukraine elections on May 25th will be a farce. I don’t even want to do a separate post about it as it will be a non-event, which won’t be recognized by the majority of those who matter – Ukrainians themselves. More than half of the country will boycott these elections, candidates are withdrawing en masse, both after having been beaten up and intimidated, and the only ones left are the radicals and nazis, or the darlings of the West who were behind the Kiev coup. Elections held during a civil war?? Where nazis like the right sector’s #Yarosh are in the running?? And supported desperately by the EU and US to legitimize the illegitimate government?? Of course, these must be the most democratic elections ever, at least according to the US and EU!

I can tell you who will be elected: oligarch Piotr #Poroshenko, the darling of the EU and US. And Merkel, Obama and others will quickly recognize him. This will lead to escalation of Ukraine’s civil war. Half of the country will secede. Actually, scratch that: close to 3/4 will secede as Hungary is demanding its TransCarpathia now. Much of this could have been prevented if the ostrich called Merkel for one second would have taken her head out of the sand.

Richard from Berlin says: “I am an American living in Berlin and I would like to make some comments about Angela Merkel from that perspective.

Firstly, I would like to say that while Merkel has been popular among the Germans, I personally don’t trust her. She is a backroom dealer. When asked by President Gauck and Joscka Fisher 2/3 years ago about her overall „plan“, she gave no answer. This is typical for her. She has given the military 100 Million Euros to train for civil unrest in Germany (and built a city like what America does for training) but this was only published in deutsche-wirtschafts-nachrichten.de (I find them the best news media here). This is not public knowledge. Why?

Merkel does not seem to be effective at the moment, just to be drifting. Again she is in a coalition, typical for Germany, which does not really seem to be working. The last one was very ineffective. She only seems to have a very few ideas of her own for the future. Trade with China and Frankfurt for the renminbi exchange. When you say that she is not a statesman, well, of course, that is true because she has no depth, ie one must have a well-reasoned philosophical and intellectual basis for governing. She is pragmatic and can come up with good solutions. As good as that is, that is shallow. Just a quick fix often. In other words, the broader base is not present.

I think that Merkel is at a crossroads. The US is run by the cabal, the EU is a disaster which only 30% popular support, geographical areas are wanting to leave the EU etc or not join (Iceland, Switzerland), US financial collapse, Club-Med is also a disaster. Draghi has lied to zerohedge.com, a financial newspaper (with lots about the Ukraine plus videos). He said that there was no B plan for a Grexit. Yes there is. It is top secret and Merkel knows that if implemented it could cost the Germans trillions of Euros. But again silence. I don’t think she likes Putin because she cannot play her games with him. He made it clear in a speech a couple of years ago that he fully understands the cabal and Merkel, who speaks perfect Russian, was sitting in the front row with Hillary C two rows behind her!

A word about the German press. There is not a lot of news about what is really going on in the Ukraine. Gerhard Schröder has received a lot of criticism for his birthday party with Putin in Russia. He is not alone. Others are being criticized for not supporting nazis. No one seems to say: our politicians (in the West) support nazis. What does that make the politicians?!?

I think that the crux of what is going on with Merkel is that she, firstly, is in it for herself. Secondly, she is working for the banksters (which bankster’s birthday did she celebrate 3-4 years ago in the Chancellery?!) and, finally, she is working for the German population. I believe she is working for the New World Order. Austerity = genocide = her position on the Club-Med countries. But, on the other hand, this will mean WWIII and Germany is already being blamed for it. It is only 18 months ago that Germany finally paid off the last of the WWI reparations! To be fair the whole history of the 20th century has been concocted, from the Bolshevik Revolution to the Holocaust (Vatican) to Israel. All underpinned with lies and Germany has been blamed for what the banksters have actually done.

My intuitive feeling is that Merkel knows she is being watched, but not by the US, rather by the German military. I expect to see her in jail soon. The cabal is being taken down, if slowly. I think she knows that it is only a matter of time before her rôle in the New World Order is exposed for what it is: treason against the German nation and people.

Thank you, excellent testimony! A lot of great insights here!

In my view, Merkel is mortally afraid of Putin because as Richard pointed out, she can’t play her games with him as he sees straight through her. Same applies to Obama, by the way. Deep down, Angela Merkel is also afraid of Russia. Not because Russia did anything, but because of her daddy’s influence. When she grew up, this is what he taught her, and she carries this fear with her. I noticed that back in 2008, or even earlier. Perhaps, it may sound counterintuitive to those who know her childhood story, but this is clearly written all over her.

Angela Merkel grew up during the Cold War and her childhood was a curious one. Her father was a priest from West Germany, but he was given a parish in East Germany since the church was one for the entire German territory. Angela grew up in East Germany, where she attended school, learned Russian and where she was the young communist organization’s leader. Yep, Angela Merkel was a young pioneer and swore allegiance to the Communist Party – I saw her pictures wearing a pioneer tie. Obviously, she was a really good politician even then if she became part of the pioneer leadership. Once a politician, always a politician.

It seems her father, in addition to being a priest was also anti-fascist, although this part is a bit fuzzy. How true this is and what he did during WWII isn’t entirely clear to me. What I can tell you is that Angela’s father taught her not to show her real “face” in public and to fear (distrust?) Russia. I don’t know where this resentment comes from, but it is possible that the official story of Merkel Sr. wasn’t the true one. I am not going to speculate, but either way, it’s hardly good for a priest to carry such resentment. And a childhood fear that was never dealt with in the leading European country’s leader is completely unforgivable. Angela grew up double-faced: pretending to be a good little pioneer at school and kissing someone’s a** to be in good graces of superiors, while being something completely different at home. Not a very good upbringing that is bound to create psychological problems.

I further agree with Richard: she is afraid she may end badly. As I said, there is a fear overload in her aura – and not so much for her country as for her own skin.
I also agree, she is afraid she and Germany will be blamed for WWIII. And yes, the 20th century WWI and WWII were manipulated! Germany and Russia needed to be tricked and pitted against each other. This was done by the UK and US, and of course those forces that stood behind them. US and UK needed to destroy the only two serious rivals they had: Germany and Russia. The goal was to create an undisputed universal dominance of the Anglo-Saxon world.

Sound familiar? Nothing has changed since then, and the prime objective remains the same.

But excuses aside, Germany still took the bait both times. It still initiated and fought brutally the two deadliest wars in human history, although opportunities existed to bail out. The great 19th century German Chancellor Bismark told Germans to never fight Russia. He was a wise man, but his legacy was conveniently forgotten.

Since then, Europe, Germany, and Merkel personally, have been consumed with extreme fear and blindness towards any situation potentially leading to a change in the status quo on European continent. They are so mortally afraid of any change they do not approve of that they are routinely making things worse. Remember what happened to Yugoslavia? Remember the bombings of Serbia? This irrational fear is only allowing the US, this master manipulator of all human emotions, to manipulate Germany and EU so much more effectively.

One thing is certain: the world architecture that was set in place in mid-20th century to stabilize the world as a result of WWII doesn’t serve humanity any more, and it is crumbling all around us. The right and wise thing to do is to actively participate in building the new world that would reflect today’s realities. Instead, the likes of Merkel and other scared to death European politicians are pretending that nothing out of the ordinary is happening, hoping they can put the genie back into the bottle. No such luck!

This is why I said Merkel may have been acceptable for Germany during quiet and peaceful times. Right now, she is totally wrong for Germany and the EU. The sooner people of Germany recognize that, the better for everyone on the planet! Germany needs a tough, clear-headed, clean of undue influences (I am putting this mildly) and courageous leader.

In truth, right now the EU, and more specifically Germany, is the only entity that can stop atrocities in Ukraine quickly. Germany is the only country that can put a stop to USA’s attempts to start a real war in Europe. One solid and HONEST announcement from Merkel, just her refusal to play the US game, and this whole thing will deflate. But Merkel won’t do it.
