It’s happening again! It appears WordPress glitch has messed up my publishing for the umptieth time. Publication date was supposed to be May 1; instead it shows April 30. It would appear my subscribers again didn’t get notices of the new post. Many bloggers complain of this issue. Unless WP fixes the problem I will be considering moving my blog to LadaRay.info site.

    May be to do with the clock in their server. May have been 30th April in their server??

    Thanks, Lada Ray for the thorough coverage of so many subjects. My posting arrived about 3 pm 5/1 and I too have had some WP anomalies (a blog I have subscribed to for at least 2 years suddenly disappeared and I had to resubscribe: I think this suggests that the glitch is above the WP “pay grade” so to speak and may relate to content monitoring source unknown). I have some other stuff to say but due to confidential woo woo nature will send through your home site.
    Since you will be continuing to monitor the Chernobyl situation, a practical suggestion. With Fukushima concerns on the coast plus my geographical situation is on the New Madrid fault line just East of many nuclear plants and just west of a known covertly buried nuclear waste dump, I researched the potassium iodide question. Some alarmists were pushing the chemical supplement to have on hand for emergencies. The holistic experts said nix, you’ll cobble up your whole endocrine system and die of that instead of radiation. The recommendation was use a natural source and build up tolerance to reasonable dosage, i.e. seaweed supplements which contain iodine. One that I found is from Nova Scotia dulse (i.e. the North Atlantic is likely safer from contamination) and perhaps others who may be in affected areas would consider this option for their “prepper” or earthquake box.(there are other natural sources of iodine, like “Lugol’s solution”etc).
