Russia’s Paralympians banned from competing in Rio (FULL PRESSER): The President of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Philip Carven is announcing the decision on whether Russia will be allowed to participate at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.
All 200 Russian Paralympianss are banned – a decision with which they waited till last moment – for the pleasure of an executioner to inflict an extra torture on a victim, I can only assume. Only athletes with the most severe injuries or impairments imaginable compete in Paralympics, including missing legs and arms, paralysis, cerebral palsy or Down syndrome. In other words, those people who defeated insurmountable odds to survive and thrive. It seems especially diabolical to do this to such athletes.

Just read about it in Argumenty i Fakty. Disgusting! They are also targeting the Paralympics team of 2014 winter games in Sochi – all the tests are to be reviewed and the medal results are to be re-distributed!

Banning the Russian paralympic teams make no sense, the ipc killing international goodwill, sportsmanship which is the foundation of Olympics. Of course geopolitically, western gov’ts goal is to destroy Russia, failing that they have to resort to petty, disgusting tactics like this. Boycott the Rio games!

I do know there are entities without honour and ethics in this world and much less capacity to think…But if someone is helping you to succeed it is undoubtedly unforgiving to bite the helping hand..! This it has to be the lowest of the lowest actions of a third world minded country ! it is…a spit on your face a total betrayed.!!! The coward, the total unfit, the weak minded is usually the one that behaves like these few brazilians have shown their true colours
I just don’t understand it, it does not fit in my mind…I cannot comprehend it…I am not vindictive but I feel this is been done to me personally!!

Well, that tears it for me, dear ones! I’m boycotting. How can we watch any of it when we know what a horrible, politically motivated travesty the Olympics has become? Could it get any lower than banning the Paralympians? It could. The caviar-gobbling IOC ~ oh, are they going to ban that too? The very best caviar, the only kind they would deign to eat, is Russian~ And let’s not forget the bizarre antics of the supporting international sports organizations… And how about what they make Olympic cities endure, and the pedophilia rampant in girls gymnastics… it just goes on and on. Dear God. What a rant this turning out to be! I will spare you more. I just needed to express my TOTAL disgust.
The worst part of it is, that is just what “they” want. “They” feed on negativity, and they are doing a bang-up job of generating it during this time. We are to have no pleasure in sharing in Unity, or being joyous for others when they win. Ugh! Some days it feels like being stuck between the proverbial rock and hard place.
I hope those who are participating at the games this year will have a good time and realize their most cherished dreams, but I won’t be watching. Good luck, Olympians! I wish the best that Life has to offer for you and better days ahead for all of us. Keep trying, everyone, and keep smiling. LOL, everything is being thrown at us, yet we still prevail. That is one of the best parts about being human. ;o) ❤ ❤ ❤

Absolutely ABSURD!! Paralympians fight on a daily basis and do their best to be the best in their sport and this guy robs them of the hard work they have put in year round. And, the ban is only one country: Russia. If it was uniform, a lot of other athletes would’ve been banned. This is simply OUTRAGEOUS.

These special Olympics are too special to allow themselves to be used by politicians. They need to find or create a different venue. Putin could make this happen. Then the world would be coming to Russia for the honor of participating.
