Where to Invade Next: Michael Moore Documentary (and #911truth) w. film links!
I have to say, I missed Michael Moore’s sparkling humor and his ability to get to the very hard-hitting emotional and existential core of the big issues he likes to tackle. Without question the best documentary filmmaker alive, he at one point or another woke up a lot of Americans to the real state of affairs in their country and beyond. My personal Michael Moore favorites are Bowling for Columbine and Fahrenheit 9/11.

In my opinion, Capitalism: A Love Story wasn’t hard-hitting enough. It felt as if Moore held back in many places due to personal threats and the movie industry’s refusals to show it in the USA. Pity: the film, which still helped people understand things that were previously concealed by American propaganda, became compromised as a result. From what I’ve heard, for many Americans it was still a revelation. Personally for me it was either old news or half-truths, perhaps due to the fact that I knew the whole story, having been born in the USSR and having lived in various countries and on various continents, including Russia, Ukraine, China, USA, Cuba and Europe… And, incidentally, having worked at AIG and Smith Barney/Citigroup.

I already am in love with the title of the new one: Where to Invade Next. Moore is a master of titles – as someone who constantly sweats to find a worthy name for my various written works, I admire his titling prowess. The trailer sounds very promising, too. Can’t wait to watch the film!

P.S. Granted, I don’t watch TV, but it appears Where to Invade Next film was successfully silenced, since it first came out last year. Yet I’ve only just heard about it due to US elections and its re-release in Blu-ray in 2016.

ADDED 9/12/16 Quick Review!
Just finished watching the film. Can probably give it 3 stars, no more. Actually, I expected more from Michael Moore. There were some good finds and things in it that I would agree with. However, overall it felt like it was made for the lowest common denominator and there were too many half-truths in it. My reaction to this one was similar to ‘Capitalism, a Love Story’ above. In other words, I’m too advanced for it, but it is probably the kind of movie that may be good for average Americans to help wake them up.

The fifteenth 9/11 anniversary
P.S. Yesterday I’ve escaped the noisy and crowded New York City, and today is a 9/11 anniversary. Notice that I have published this post at exactly 8:45 on 9/11/16. Fifteen years ago at this very minute the first ‘plane’ hit first of the Twin Towers in New York City, changing our lives forever. At the time I worked for Smith Barney. I vividly recall what happened the morning of 9/11/2001, having observed the whole thing in slow motion from my office in NJ, while constantly thinking that I had a narrow escape.
I described what I saw and knew at the time in this post: The Neglected Russian Gift to the American People, Geopolitics of the Middle East and Putin.
The neglected gift refers to a Russian sculptor’s monument dedicated to the victims of 9/11, which was shyly relegated by US authorities to out-of-the-way NJ backwaters. Here it is (read and see more pics in the post linked above):
The truth of 9/11 turned out to be very different from the one portrayed by official US propaganda. It’s not news anymore. Still, it’s good to review the facts once in a while. I’d published this compilation as a record keeper and a reminder: What Really Happened on 9/11? Telling Video Compilation.

I think your prediction about the Democrats losing is coming true today. New video of Hillary having a seizure whilst leaving the 9/11 memorial is circulating the web, and its not pretty. Now everyone can see it, as well as other videos of other seizures she has had. It’s all coming out now, just at eclipse time too, as the truth is wont to do.
