Кадыров о возможности занимать пост президента больше двух раз подряд: “Если в интересах народа нужно, почему мы не можем внести изменения? Мы не должны даже спрашивать у самого Путина! Народ должен инициировать и принять такое решение.”

Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov on doing away with the two consecutive term limit for Russian president:

“If the interests of our people demand it, why can’t we make necessary changes? We shouldn’t even ask Putin! The People must initiate and make this decision.”

 

LADA’S P.S. Some appear confused. Kadyrov proposes to DO AWAY with the LIMIT on how many times one can run for president consecutively, running 3, 4 or more times if need be. This is the nature of a big debate in Russia at this time, anyway.

    Dear Lada, what are the implications of this? Does it mean he is anti Putin and wants to try and shorten his term, or is the 2 term a limit that would naturally see Putin step down?
    From what I’ve seen, Russia is lucky to have such an amazing leader in Putin. One of the very best in the world and I’ve been watching lots of YouTube videos of interviews with Putin, observing the man and the leader. I really like what I see 😊

      Oh no. Sorry I didn’t elaborate in the post. I thought it was well known. Kadyrov is totally pro-Putin. The big debate in Russians society is presently that Putin needs to continue being president post-2024 in view of all the craze from the West. We have the same happening in China. Very interesting, in fact.

    I think it’s a good idea, President Putin must to be in charge at least more six years after 2024, not until hundred of course, but just more 6 (12) years. There are too many problens in Russia and in the world. I hope he would agree.
