Before Putin-Trump Summit, Russians are Convinced More Than Ever Americans Cannot Be Trusted
This is why: “Russia is Ruled by the Mafia, there is no freedom of speech, and talking to Putin is like feeding a shark” – says US Senator Kennedy, who just visited Russia together with other pro-Trump members of the Senate. The US Senators visiting Russian Duma were met with standing applause during a Duma session. Much more warmly and hospitably than they ever deserved. But having come back to the US, at least some of them began trashing Russia.
The episode below from one of Russia’s talk shows just the opposite. Dmitry Nekrasov is one of the tough oppositioners to Putin, a staunch pro-West neoliberal, who is constantly on Russian TV shows, who himself has a 1-2% rating, but who criticizes Putin, with a rating around 80%. Nevertheless, he is still given a podium to voice his minority opinion, and his opinion usually is that Russia can do no right. Those standing next to him are: one of old-time Russian neoliberals, who worked with Yelstin, but who is much more reasonable; another is a Ukrainian pro-junta Russophobe. I would seriously like to see such tough opposition on US TV, or UK TV, or anywhere in the ‘democratic’ West.

As the saying in Russia goes: “the dogs bark, while the caravan moves on”.
I don’t expect much concrete from the coming summit meeting as Trump/US have nothing to offer Russia which she would be interested in, while what US wants from Russia would be detrimental to the Russian national interests.

As I have said previously, it is so refreshing to see honest dialogue and speakers treating one another respectfully. It is fondly to be wished that the same could be seen here in the so-called “Land of the Free”. Well, maybe one day a miracle can happen.
As for this John Kennedy creature, it is unfortunate he bears the same name as our beloved President Kennedy. He certainly has nothing else in common with him. This man is a moron, a globalist shill and an embarrassment to our country. He should take the advice of another of our great presidents, Abraham Lincoln, to whom the quote is attributed, “It is better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.”
I have great respect for Russia’s president Putin and for President Trump. Together they could do much to improve conditions for everyone on our planet. I look forward with great hope and expectations for a successful meeting between them in Helsinki. They may even come to like each other at some point. This would be a very good thing for the world and, LOL, the Dark State would hate it! she says, smiling. 😉
