2022 Chinese New Year of the Water Tiger:
How to Celebrate and What it Means!
2022 is the Year of the Water Tiger, also called the Year of the Black Tiger! The tiger-water-color black combo is very auspicious for wealth. However, the tiger, according to Chinese beliefs, is also very dangerous and has to be tamed and kept in check at all times, otherwise it may turn on you! So, be careful and tame your tiger, so it brings you much luck and wealth! 😉
The Chinese New Year Day is on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, which is the 4719th Chinese year. The first day of the Chinese astrological year is considered the first day of the Tiger Month.
The Chinese use the blended lunisolar calendar, which is at times confusing to the outsiders. While the 1st day of the LUNAR New Year is February 1 this year, the real first day of the Water Tiger is on February 4, 2022, which is the lunisolar Feng Shui New Year. In Feng Shui we always switch and renew the energy, various cures, energizers and many other things on or before February 4, and that’s regardless of when the Lunar New Year starts, which changes every year!
February 4, 2022 is the first day of Chinese Spring. This date is called Li-Chun 立春, which means the start of the Spring.
Be sure to Verify Your Chinese Zodiac Sign! Say, if a baby was born in 2022 but before February 4, then the baby’s Chinese Zodiac sign is Ox, not the Tiger. Or, if you were born on February 1 or 2 of 1985, you are a Rat, not an Ox! But if you were born on February 4, 1985, or after, you are an Ox, and so on!

In this FREE post Lada Ray explains the secrets of the
Numerology and Feng Shui of the Year of the Rat,
based on the Flying Stars, 5 Elements, 8 Aspirations (8 Mansions)
and Compass Schools of Feng Shui!
Numerology of the Year of the Rat
2020, the Year of the Rat, corresponds in Chinese Numerology with No. 1.
You think it’s No. 1 because it’s the first year of the new 12-year Chinese zodiac cycle? Not at all! If it were so, then the second year of the cycle, the year of the Ox (2021), would carry the numerology correspondence of 2, right?
But the year of the Ox corresponds with No. 8. That’s because of the convoluted way in which the Feng Shui Flying Stars work, and because the direction of the Ox and its neighbor Tiger is North-East, which carries the No. 8!
Yep, I know it may be complicated, but no worries, I’ll always be your guide and explain what’s really going on!
The important thing to remember is that the Year of the Rat corresponds with No. 1!
Feng Shui of the Year of the Rat
These are the direction, element and color correspondences:
The Rat always corresponds with:
The element of water and colors blue, black, dark grey (5 Elements)
The direction of North (Compass school)
It is the direction of career success and money (8 Aspirations)
Specifically this year: it’s a Metal, or Golden, or White Rat; therefore, it also corresponds with colors white, light grey, silver and gold (5 Elements)
Moreover, for each of us individually, there is a unique correspondence to our personal fortunate and unfortunate (lucky/unlucky) directions, elements and colors, per my PERSONAL FENG SHUI EMPOWERMENT & SUCCESS REPORT and depending on whether you are East or West group!
As an example, for me North corresponds with Health and Protection. For someone else it may signify Personal Development, or Wealth, or Love. For some it may be one of their unlucky directions. It depends on your personal number, as determined by your REPORT.

Since I am working simultaneously on many big new projects, I won’t do a major Feng Shui/Chinese New Year feature this year, except to say:
The Chinese New Year of the Brown (Earth) Dog begins on February 16. The celebrations last for 15 days, starting from New Year’s eve, February 15. Usually, the traditional Chinese New Year begins on a new moon, either in January or February, based on the lunar calendar. This year it also coincides with New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aquarius.
The Dog in Chinese astrology rules the North-Western direction. The Earth energizes the big metal of the Dog, which is positive. Generally, metal and earth do mix very well together, so this combo denotes a more harmonious distribution of elements throughout the year than we were used to in preceding years.
HOW TO MANIFEST PROSPERITY AND LUCK:
This year I made sure I’ve finished and made public my very special mini-reports, containing ancient wisdom nuggets and my tutorials. Monkey in the Chinese Zodiac
Monkey people are considered sociable, quick, intellectual fast studies, and mischievous tricksters who love practical jokes. They can be quite lucky with money and good as entrepreneurs. They are adaptable and can work in a range of professions. At least, that’s what conventional wisdom tells us. 😉
- Strengths: sociable, innovative, enthusiastic, self-assured
- Weaknesses: suspicious, cunning, selfish, arrogant, jealous
Fire Monkey: Fire creates passion, but can also produce irritation. Passion, quick wit and irritability are common to fire monkeys, and it will be common for this year in general.
What is Chinese New Year all about?
The Feng Shui new year is derived from the solar calendar and it always changes over February 4th-5th. This date denotes the Annual Flying Star energy change.
Meanwhile, Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, is marked by the combined lunisolar Chinese calendar, so the date changes from year to year. The New Year usually begins in the end of January or in the beginning to mid-February, depending on when the new moon falls. There are 15 days of festivities, starting on New Year’s Eve. The culmination is the Lantern Festival, which takes place on the 15th day of the new year.
The Chinese symbol for monkey
Each Chinese New Year is characterised by one of 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac. The Chinese zodiac wheel is a little like the Western astrological Zodiac, except each Chinese animal marks a year, instead of a month.
Feng Shui and the Chinese philosophy significance:
Apart from the fact that in Chinese zodiac each animal marks a year vs. Western zodiac, where each astrological sign marks a calendar month, there are other major differences. The Chinese zodiac also corresponds with the wheel of 8 cardinal and intercardinal subdirections of the compass. In addition, each of the 12 animals corresponds to one of the Five Elements. This energetic correspondence is registered each year twice (called Earthly Branch and Heavenly Stem) within the 60 year cycle of 12 animals multiplied by 5 elements.
Each animal of the zodiac also has a correspondence to a specific Aspiration in the Eight Mansions (Lada Ray’s term: Eight Aspirations) system, as well as in the Chinese Numerology.

Year of the Monkey is always the 9th year of the 12-year cycle. The next Year of the Monkey will be in 2028. Each year of the Monkey is different, depending on the element of the Heavenly Stem. Therefore, this is the Year of the Fire, or Red, Monkey. Such year is only repeated once every 60 years.
Those who turn exactly 60 years of age between February 2016 and January 2017 are Fire Monkeys and they experience a full cycle return this year.

Lada’s global prognosis for 2016, The Year of the Fire Monkey
First two-thirds of the year will be volatile and confrontational. Clashes and uneasy situation will continue throughout the world. There is a good chance that a more peaceful approach to international conflict resolution will prevail in the last third of the year, most likely starting in October 2016.
I would like to note that this period coincides with the US presidential elections. Those who follow my geopolitical analysis on FuturisTrendcast (FT) will see the direct correlation here. Will USA become more peaceful and inclined to negotiations after the elections? I will discuss it in my new PREDICTIONS on FT – coming later this year!
Due to the #2 Illness Star flying to the center of the chart, this year is low in health energy, and rather sickly. Illnesses and epidemics scares are possible in various parts of the globe. This includes man-made viruses and hoaxes (Zika virus is a good example – I’ll talk about it in a separate article on FT).
Everyone is advised to be careful, both while traveling and while at home!
2016 Annual Feng Shui Forecast
Flying Stars:
2016 will be a sickly year for many people as the Illness Star is now in the center, its energy affecting all. Be careful not to get a flu, protect yourself by eating healthy, boost your energy via holistic supplements, and make sure you get enough rest this year.

Keep in mind that black carries a protective connotation and is yin in nature, symbolizing deep water, while blue is yang in nature and caries the connotation of energetic, moving water.
Display water features, such as fountains, aquariums and ponds. Water plants also work. Make sure you display water features in the beneficial areas, based on Flying Star and 8 Mansions, aka, 8 Aspirations, methods.

Intel: US Mini-Nukes Delivered to Ukraine; Poroshenko’s Family Urgently Leaves
The latest breaking news from Ukraine:
1. The family of Ukraine president Poroshenko has urgently left the country via a charter flight. This means that the situation in the country is much more unstable than is being portrayed, and the true extent of turmoil is being underplayed. It also means that Poroshenko knows that he may be unseated any moment and has negotiated an asylum for his family with his handlers in the West as part of the Minsk agreement. Instead of flying straight back to Kiev after Minsk, Poroshenko actually went to Brussels first where he had undisclosed conversations with EU politicians, including Merkel and Hollande. Undoubtedly, this is where the asylum was negotiated.
In one of my 2014 articles I said that I was expecting another Kiev maidan by spring 2015. Yarosh and other ukro-nazis say that they will never observe the Minsk peace agreements and threaten to overturn Poroshenko. Rada is trying to initiate impeachment proceedings. Maidan may be close. Will it happen? I think the wild card right now is Merkel and Hollande tandem. Afraid of a hot war in Europe, they finally mustered some courage to present a unified front in Minsk and beyond. They may spoil the party.
I had also said previously that I didn’t see Poroshenko surviving in his position for much longer.
In one of the previous articles’ comment sections we also had a discussion about the potentiality of an even more obvious nazi regime coming to power after Poroshenko is unseated. I am of the opinion that worst case scenario of an openly nazi regime materializing would actually be better, as it would cause the terrible abscess that is today’s Ukraine to come to the surface, ripen and erupt faster. Ukraine, and the world in general, needs this cleansing. The terrible infestation in Ukraine had been festering inside for too long. It has to come to the surface and be expelled. The faster it happens, the sooner people can start the process of rebuilding.

2. Ukraine sources are reporting that since the population is sabotaging the mobilization, Kiev junta is now conducting a forced mobilization. The military board a city bus and tell women to leave, while all the men who remain on the bus get herded into trucks and sent to the front. People from Zaporozhie (in central Ukraine, one of the cities that wants to join Novorossia) report that national guard breaks into people’s homes and forcefully hauls off the males into the army.
All this is happening after Minsk peace agreements have been signed and as ceasefire is supposed to be in effect in Donbass. Meanwhile, Donbass reports that there is no ceasefire and that Kiev army is consolidating its forces and attacking the positions of self-defence. They have again attempted to take the Donetsk Airport, which, according to Minsk accords, is supposed to be part of the DNR territory.
Kiev has completely abandoned 5,000 of its soldiers cooking in the Debaltsevo cauldron. Kiev denies the very existence of the cauldron and the fact that their forces have been surrounded by DNR and LNR.

3. German sources report that US military advisors in Ukraine have been busy. According to German intelligence, Americans were able to bring onto the territory of the Debaltsevo cauldron a ‘suitcase’ nuke. It appears US has nothing left to lose after Germany and France broke the ranks and sat down for peace talks with Russia.
Let’s recall what I’d been saying from the start. The goals of the US in Ukraine are, among others: 1. to put a wedge between Russia and Germany/France/EU; 2. paint Russia as a villain; 3. pit Russia and Ukraine in a hot war, by making Russia send troops to Ukraine.
The potential false flag involving a mini-nuke inside the Debaltsevo cauldron is supposed to be blamed on Russia. Therefore, Russia gets again painted as a villain that detonates nukes in poor Ukraine. This may result in more EU sanctions and in US delivering those lethal weapons they had been threatening to send.
Several weeks ago I said that we should expect a massive false flag in Ukraine, something that would be much bigger than MH17. There has been a recent mini-nuke detonation at the chemical plant in Donbass, but apparently, it failed to achieve the desired effect. It is possible they will try again in Debaltsevo. This has to be watched. And as I also said before, if a lot of people talk about it and watch it like hawks, it’s possible to prevent such false flags. Hopefully they will fail.
According to intel from Russian/Ukrainian military analyst Alexander Zhilin (who’s originally from Nikolaev), 4 such American tactical nukes were delivered in November 2014 to the Ivano-Frankovsk military airport in Western Ukraine. The question is: where will they surface?
