Forbidden History: Russian Truth Code and Goddess Lada

Finally, we are able to delve further into one of the reader most requested topics, FORBIDDEN vs. TRUE HISTORY & LINGUISTICS. This report is a continuation of one of FuturisTrendcast’s most popular articles: Forbidden History: Are Scandinavians Slavs?

Over the past 3 years many have asked me about the meaning and mystery of my name. Some of my astute readers have figured it out on their own. This is evident when some of you call me ‘Lady Lada.’ 😉

Today, I want to tell you the whole story…

Goddess Lada2

Goddess Lada – Russian painting

The ancient Russian Vedic Goddess Lada is often depicted with white swans or white doves. Lada is very powerful and her Earthly responsibilities are many. She is in charge of such uplifting things as: spring and summer, sun, harmony and balance, goodness, friendship and good will, love and happy marriage, overcoming obstacles, smooth sailing, positivity and good luck. Lada is also responsible for creativity, abundance and children.

Russian language: the Earth’s Truth Code

You may have heard me say this before. There had been many times in history when it was dangerous to speak the truth, for which punishment would be death. Then, in their infinite wisdom, the Wise Ones and Earth Keepers hid the clues in plain sight, leaving them behind for future generations to re-discover. Although compromised due to centuries of various extraneous elements littering it, the Russian language remains the Earth’s Ultimate Truth Code and one of the most important living proofs of humanity’s true history and roots, hidden in plain sight.

The role of Sanskrit, the closest sister language to Russian is the same: to serve as the hidden treasure trove of the keys to rediscover the truth. The Sanskrit Vedas have preserved much of it. The drastic difference is that Sanskrit has not survived the impact with reality. It is by all definitions, a dead language, studied based on ancient texts that thank goodness survived. Only the tiniest of echoes of Sanskrit remain in contemporary Hindi.

Russian is a full-fledged major living and evolving language that has been preserved by the population of the Great Russia despite persecution and wholesale destruction of memory, ancient knowledge, Vedic wisdom and books. Speaking of which, when people remark to me in reply to my mentioning the Rus Vedic past that it sounds just like Hindu Vedas, this is simply because it is one and the same.

The huge value of Sanskrit and Hindu Vedas is that they were more hidden and therefore missed by the West, when history was re-written. Therefore, they avoided a wholesale destruction, such as the Russian Vedic chronicles endured. This is why Sanskrit, the frozen in time language, is so important to re-discovering our true roots.

In very ancient days, when the Ice Age made it impossible for people to exist in the far north between the Ural Mountains and Siberia, where the original Arian Vedic Rus civilization flourished, also referred to as Hyperborea, one branch of it spread to Europe and another to what is today called India, becoming Brahmans and bringing the Vedic philosophy. There were other branches that moved further south as well, at different times. The Vedic philosophy and lifestyle was prevalent among the people of not only contemporary Russia/Ukraine/Belarus/Siberia and much of northern Eurasia (together we may call it the Rus Civilization), but all around Northern, Western and Central Europe as well.

We briefly touched upon what Vedism means in Forbidden History: Are Scandinavians Slavs? I also provide a substantial number of linguistic clues in ESR6: Ukraine – New Khazarian Khaganate?

What does the word Vedic or Vedism mean? It means ‘true knowledge.’ Every day, without thinking, we use a large number of derivatives from these words. They are present not only in Russian, but in many European languages – clues hidden in plain sight.

According to Russian researchers Vedic vision and lifestyle was gradually suppressed in Western and Central Europe approximately between 10th and 16th centuries, Catholic religion and inquisition playing the key role. Together with it, the ancient Rus language was also replaced all over Europe.

Despite Russia adopting Christianity, Vedism coexisted with the new religion more peacefully and remained prevalent in Russia until about 17-18th centuries. At that point a drastic shift towards the West occurred in Russia, and Vedism was brutally and subversively suppressed, to be replaced with overly aggressive, yang, individualistic, profit and money oriented culture of then Western Europe.

Ancient books were destroyed, carriers of Vedic knowledge were eliminated and true history was re-written, shortening, mutilating and isolating Russian history, while glorifying and lengthening the history of everything else.

It was history’s grandest heist pulled in front of everyone’s eyes. And humans just ate it up, or became complicit. I have only began scratching the surface of the truth – much more to follow in my future book, THE PUTIN ENIGMA!

It was part of the previous global rebalancing. Between 15th and 18th centuries, Russia the Great Balancer gradually shifted the weight of the world’s development towards the West, to allow for a more yang-energy and individual-values-driven development of mankind. This seemed a necessary adjustment due to the excess of yin in human existence a the time. But as it so often happened in human history, it went all wrong. The West perceived the shift facilitated by Russia the Great Balancer as a gift from heaven, thinking itself exceptional. Instead of serving others, it began its global quest to subdue the rest of the world.

But nothing is forever, and today The Great Balancer has begun another EARTH SHIFT, away from the West. Unlike the previous shifts, this one is different and aims to restore the proper yin-yang balance on our planet, ushering in the era of Russia. This is why I call it THE GREAT EARTH SHIFT.

Because of the THE GREAT EARTH SHIFT, the hidden clues are beginning to be revealed. The majority of them are re-discovered in Russian language, but a large number turn out to be hidden dormant in other languages, such as English, Ukrainian, Swedish, Italian, Spanish, Mandarin, Sanskrit and others. As the consciousness of mankind awakens, these clues suddenly begin being understood by those who have eyes. More and more information is coming to the surface, as the right people come along who can show the way.

Since I was a child I was pointing out certain inconsistencies and discrepancies in the official narrative. I was 5 and just learned to read when my parents took me to the Odessa’s unique and beautiful Archeological Museum. The guide was droning on about the unknown and mysterious civilization of Etruscans, who lived in Italy circa 700 BC, and how their language still cannot be deciphered by linguists. She showed us the amazing pieces of art they left behind. Even then, at my early age, it was hard to imagine these pieces were made in 700 BC, when – if we were to believe the contemporary fake historical science – humans were much less evolved than us today and when technology for making such exquisite items shouldn’t have existed.

Being small, my eyes were level with the sign on the glassed stand, which read: ‘Etruscan stella, circa 700 BC, language unknown.’ In Russian the name of that mysterious ethnos read like Etruski. I whispered the word to myself, bored with the guide’s not very interesting story. Suddenly, I announced for all adults to hear: ‘Etruski means ‘Eti Ruskie. They were Russians!’ (Eti Ruskie means ‘These Russians.’)

The silent scene that followed was worthy of a thriller. Adults just looked at each other perplexed, and didn’t say anything. Later the incident seemed to have been forgotten. The only thing that transpired was that my mother apparently decided that I was supposed to be a linguist and translator (I think she secretly hoped I’d become a diplomat, actually). Shortly after, she hired me a private English language tutor. My love of everything linguistics never went away and I eventually ended up with summa cum laude Masters in Linguistics and Translation.

When I was a child and later a teen, there were other discoveries of truths hidden in plain sight, such as another mysteriously extinct civilization and language, whose location was in today’s Germany. I knew since I was barely 6 or 7 that Prussia meant Po-Russia and the now ‘dead’ Prussian language was in fact ‘Po-Russian.’

How did I know? I simply looked at the word in front of me and read it correctly. Why others were unable to perceive the clues? Because most people don’t think and don’t pay attention – it’s that simple.

Many years later I began receiving confirmations from various linguistic, historical, archeological and esoteric sources, which were not given the time of day by the scientific and mainstream communities, that what I interpreted was correct. And it was only very recently that I received a definitive confirmation from the world-famous Prof. Chudinov that what my 5-year-old self knew was 100% true. Chudinov read the ‘illegible and mysterious’ dead language of the Etruscans, using one of the four ancient Russian alphabets / writing styles called ‘the mirror writing.’ He confirmed that the name Et-Ruski (Etruscans) signified Eti Ruskie. The only difference, he actually thought that because of the ‘mirror’ writing’ the prefix should be reversed and it should be read as ‘Te Ruskie,’ meaning ‘Those Russians’ as opposed to ‘These Russians’ who, as Chudinov postulated were the Rus population residing in the primary Great Russian space (contemporary Russia, Belarus and Ukraine). I won’t argue on that finer point, but I am still inclined towards my 5-year-old interpretation. As we know, the ultimate truth tends to come from a child’s mouth.

Throughout my life, I once in a while amused myself with forbidden history’s linguistic puzzles. I’d take a word and peer into it, dissecting it into syllables. Then I would look into what these syllables represented. No one ever taught me that in college, so along the way I also discovered my own Forbidden Linguistics method. I learned that the words’ syllables contained much more information than seemed on the surface and that each word no matter how complex, in any language, was formed based on a limited number of seemingly simple building blocks of syllables, roots, suffixes, prefixes and endings. The trick was to put these building blocks together in such a way that it would create the magic of communication. Within these simple syllables the true forbidden linguistics answers were revealed.

Of course, the quintessentially synthetic Russian language turned out to be a treasure trove of secret meanings. But even with purely analytical languages such as English, the amount of information gleaned could be exciting.

Our smart ancestors packed every sound and syllable with a huge range of knowledge. Each consonant and vowel contained a number of important meanings. As more syllables were added to the word, it could express a truly colossal range of notions. Each word, like Lego, could be built and rebuilt in many ways using these intricate building blocks. Oftentimes, I saw full syllables or even full words, compressed or shortened, as we have seen with Prussia above.

I have known for years that a massive amount of meddling was done to our history and that the separation on countries, language and ethnic groups was often artificial or false. There is much, much more to the story. As we continue to journey through The Great Earth Shift, I’ll continue telling you everything I know.

GODDESS LADA

Today, our topic is the Goddess Lada. Using Lada Ray’s Forbidden Linguistics Syllable Building Block Method, allow me to tell you how the word was formed and what it signifies.

La-da

La in the ancient Vedic Rus mother language signified fertility. It can also signify creativity, joy and positive emotion. Before it signified that, it actually signified the male reproductive organ. La is a very interesting syllable, which is also a sound. You know how when we hum a wordless song, we go ‘la, la, la.’ The reason we unconsciously hum it is that it is embedded in our genetic makeup that la symbolizes something good and something positive. From the perspective of an ancient human what could be more positive than perpetuation of the species and joy that comes with the act of doing so… It is no wonder that Lada is often depicted with children.

A telling example: La, as used in today’s Spanish, signifies the female beginning. La mujer – a moman, La niña – a girl, La casa – a house.

Later, due to the association with fertility and phallus, La also became a building block in signifying an open field. A field could signify a long, large, flat surface, a stretch of flat land, as well as fertile ground. The following words were formed: Russian: po-lia-na and po-lie (poliana and polie both mean fields of different sizes and designation. Ukrainian: lan – same meaning.

Da means yes in Russian. In ancient times, Da was often added to words to underscore the affirmative, positive nature of certain notions. The derivatives of Da or words descended from Da in combination with other Building Block syllables were added as well. You’ll be astonished if you knew how many words in various Western and Eastern languages, which insist on being completely separate and unrelated to Russian, carry Da as part of their makeup. This applies equally to many other important Building Block syllables.

Therefore, the very evocative meaning of the word Lada is:

Yes! This is the Goddess of Fertility, Harmony and Positive Energy!

It gets more interesting when we look at all the words originating from ‘Lada.’ I’ll just share a few, from Russian and English. And I guarantee that these examples will blow you away!

Ladia: ancient Rus word for boat or ship.

Keep this in mind when pronouncing ‘A’ in any Russian word! Russian ‘a’ doesn’t sound anything like English. The closest pronunciation is that of ‘u’ in the word ‘cut,’ however, Russian sound ‘a’ is more open, more powerful and longer.

Ancient Rus ships

Ancient Rus ship is called Ladia

The intricately carved and skillfully built wooden boats in those days had the shape of a swan with the bow decorated with an image of a swan, or some other important protector and energizer, such as firebird or dragon. This shape was both ergonomic and stable on the water. It also elicited an image of a graceful swan, who floats smoothly and effortlessly on the water or in the sky. Therefore, it’s easy to understand why Lada is often depicted with a swan and why she is responsible for the smooth sailing and dispelling obstacles.

Ladon’ (This word ends in ‘myaghkiy znak’ – ‘the soft sign,’ one of the unique Russian letters that doesn’t exist in Latin alphabet. The soft sign doesn’t have independent sound value; its job is to make any consonant it follows very soft). Ь – Мягкий знак (soft sign) and Ъ – твёрдый знак (hard sign).

Ladon’ means palm. You can also pronounce it as ‘ladoshka,’ which is an endearing version.

palm ladoshka

The word ladon’ consists of two parts: lada (or lado) and na. The Russian word Na means ‘here,’ ‘take it, ‘have it.’ The meaning is that of a generous, magnanimous offer. When you extend your hand you may be offering your good will and friendship. Therefore, lado-na, which later became ladon’ is in fact an extension to another person of an open hand, an offering of harmony, friendship and lad.

The Russian word lad, unchanged till today, means just that: harmony and life in graceful agreement with one’s environment.

Speaking of the word lad. Does it remind you of anything, by any chance?

What about this: ‘he’s a strapping young lad.’ According to the online dictionary ‘English’ word lad means ‘a lively or dashing man or youth.’ If you ask the online dictionary to define a strapping young lad, here’s what it’ll tell you: it is a young man who is strong, tall, and looks healthy and active.

If you try to look up the etymology of this English word, you’ll probably find all kinds of academics who wasted their entire lives promoting false theories of the origin of this or that, telling you that it comes from medieval English, etc, etc. But what was really there before ‘medieval English’ ?..

Most likely you won’t hear anyone (except me, that is) tell you the obvious: the seemingly English word lad is in fact the Russian word lad (just remember that Russian ‘a’ is pronounced like the ‘u’ in hut, but more open and longer).

If anyone in the English-speaking academic circles mentions that there could be a Russian connection, their work will be sidetracked and they will get ignored, or worse. Not being published, noticed, given tenure or grants is the death of any Western academic. That’s why if they have no principles or talent, they simply toe the line, or if they do, they suffer in obscurity or get thrown out of the field.

The word Lad in Russian means harmony. The adjective ladniy (masculine) and ladnaya (feminine) signify a young man or young woman who are tall, well-built, healthy and physically strong and active. About a young man or woman who has these characteristics one would say: ladnaya devka (for a girl) or ladniy paren’ (for a young guy / bloke). Now compare that to the ‘strapping young lad.’ It is identical.

Incidentally, the adverb ladno means in Russian ok, fine, it’s a deal. In the olden days, this word would be used when a deal was struck, which would often be accompanied with a shake of hands on a deal well agreed upon.

Goddess Lada3

Lada as a young Russian maiden

And here we are getting to the most interesting part, the ultimate proof, so to speak. I know some of my astute readers may have already figured it out.

The English word for lady, such as ‘Lady Diana,’ is simply put, a derivative of the word Lada. In fact, contemporary English ending ‘y’ is shortened and modified ‘in.’ This was done to make its origin unrecognizable.  The same is true for the popular English ending ‘ing.’

I wrote previously in ESR6 that the ancient Vedic Rus syllable in signified being a part of something, belonging to an inner circle, having allegiance with, or being a derivative or descendant (a small particle) of something big and important.

You don’t have to go far: in the contemporary English we use in every day. Such as: are you in or out, inner, insider.

The very earliest meaning of in is even more striking. It signified the female essence. The word we use today as yin (as in yin-yang) was originally in.

Goddess Lada5

 Therefore, A Lady is a female who follows in the path of the Goddess Lada. This is a woman who is harmonious, fertile, positive, sunny and helpful, who possesses dignity and poise, a good mother, partner and mistress of her domain. Such women were highly regarded and valued and they at one point began being called Lady – a follower or small particle of Lada. To this day you hear people say, ‘I am a lady.’ This usually refers to a situation when a woman won’t stoop to untoward behavior because she has dignity and values herself.

It was much later that the ego led humans to begin using this word, which was supposed to be based strictly on one’s merit, as hereditary title, regardless of whether one deserved it or not.

Lada goddess of harmony

Speaking of which, did you notice the use of the verb led, past tense from lead? I won’t go into details of how it was formed, but this is yet another example of a word derived from Lada. It’s easy to see why: Goddess Lada is responsible for dispelling obstacles, for smooth journey or sailing. Leading (do you see what I see: lead-in), when the whole path is laid out in front of you (laid – yet another Lada derivative!) is one of the aspects of a smooth journey!

Svarog i Lada

Celestial couple: Russian Vedic Gods Lada and Svarog

What’s the meaning of the name Vladimir?

The name Vladimir is another very famous derivative of lad and Lada. One of the eternally popular Russian names, it possesses rare charm and universal appeal. Why is that? Because even if you don’t know what the name means, you feel its potent energy.

Most Russians think that Vladimir means ‘The Master of the World.’ This is because the two obvious words it consists of are:

  1. Noun Vlada (power) or as a verb it will be Vladet’ (to own, to be the master of) These are the contemporary meanings of the words Vlada and Vladet’.
  2. And Mir (dual meaning: world, as well as peace).

However, if you base your analysis on my Building Blocks Method and see it multidimensionally, you’ll be able to discern the original true intent behind the name V-ladi-mir.

V – Lada – Mir

V means in

Lada means harmony, balance

V lade (in this case it’s variation v-ladi) means in harmony with

Mir means peace and world

The whole name Vladimir, therefore, means:

In Harmony with the World AND In Harmony with Peace

Another way of putting it is:

He who brings the harmonious world (peace)

There are talking names that speak for themselves, and one of the most speaking names is that of the Russian President:

Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin – double Vladimir!

Incidentally, my patronymic is also Vladimirovna. The Universe must be telling us something… 😉

We’ll go deeper into the Russian Truth Code in my future book, THE PUTIN ENIGMA. In it I’ll speak of the mystical sign of the times expressed through Putin’s name and reveal the real multidimensional meaning of his very existence. Release projected for the end of 2017!

Meet Lada the Car

The ship will sail the way you name it. Give it a great name and a successful journey is assured. This applies fully to Lada the Car, a car that had no right to exist, considering the amount of ridicule it encountered in its life. It certainly shouldn’t have survived the ’90s, when stronger Russian companies had disappeared. And yet this underdog of the global car market survived and continues thriving, despite all odds. I like to say that the name of the Goddess of Harmony and Good Luck is what pulled it through and made it stronger.

There has been much said in the West, including the ridicule, about Russian/Soviet compact sedan called Lada, also known as Zhiguli. To be fair, many Russians to this day are equally unduly critical of Lada Zhiguli, as well as anything the Tolyatti car manufacturer VAZ has ever produced. I daresay this is a strange knee jerk overreaction of a certain part of the population to the fact that at one point Mercedes, Toyota-Lexus and Cadillac owned the global market with their luxury and not so luxury vehicles. I do not understand these people at all. There is a place for all types of vehicles and all types of budgets in the market. Lada Zhiguli certainly has its own niche, and its own loyal following.

Those few who still preserve this kind of attitude, whether in Russia or beyond, suffer from a severe inferiority complex. The majority of people who drive Russian cars are absolutely fine with it, although a large percentage of Russians owns foreign vehicles.

Despite all the above, throughout decades in the West a very serious, albeit small, cult following developed for the Lada cars. They are very economical, handle great in the toughest environments and cost a fraction of what the nearest competitor charges. While the new models keep coming up, some of which were quite cool, at the same time the manufacturer VAZ has decided not to change the retro Soviet look of the originals, classic Lada Niva mini SUV and compact Lada Zhiguli. There is such nostalgia nowadays for everything retro that Lada is back en vogue.

In 1980s we owned one in retro blue, like on the pic below:

And this is my namesake, new cool-looking Lada X-Ray:

Incidentally, the logo of Lada’s manufacturer is the ancient Russian ship Ladia, which makes sense since Lada is the goddess of smooth sailing, among other things.

The adventurous Lada X-Ray crossover – check out the Ladia logo on the front grill. Lada cars are promoted as very sturdy and reliable all-terrain vehicles:

Finally, Russians began promoting their stuff and putting their best foot forward a bit! It took VAZ employing some Brits to accomplish it though. It used to be that Russians were shy to mention even their biggest achievements. Writing a job resume could be a personal tragedy, since one isn’t supposed to brag, you know. And forget promo or boasting! Now you know the real secret why the flashy, manipulative and boastful West was able to get an upper hand over Russia for so long! But now, at long last, that Ladia (ship) has sailed…

Falsified history and linguistics all around us! In fact, we all exist in a soup of lies and deceit!

One of the bogus theories that has been dominant for centuries is the so-called Norman or Normanist Theory of the origin of the Kievan Rus. The opposite has been proven exhaustively for many years, yet the truth still gets swept under the rug in the West, and it is only now slowly making its way through Russian culture. You can read more in Are Scandinavians Slavs?

Another theory that has been pervasive for many centuries is that of Etruscans, their origin and language. According to anything you’ll read anywhere ‘it was a mysterious culture of unknown origin (!) that resided in what is today Italy, circa 700 BC, left beautiful objects of art and spoke the mysterious Etruscan language that no one can decipher.’ Don’t believe me, just look at this Wikipedia post.

When I hear any of this, I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. It is worrying how either inept or sold-out the so-called ‘academics’ are. In other words a very advanced civilization appeared for a short time out of the blue in the middle of Italy. Then, having created a large number of advanced art objects and an absolutely illegible writing system unrelated to anything else in existence, it for no reason at all just went poof!

According to Russian scientists, most notably Chudinov, Fomenko and Nosovsky, Etruscans still resided on the peninsula we call today Italy as late as 16th, possibly as late as 17th, century AD. Recognized as very skilled artisans, sculptors and architects, it was Etruscans and derivative ethnicities who created many amazing architectural wonders of Italy we admire today. The ‘unreadable’ language of Etruscans, which some forces went to great pains to erase or falsify, was freely read by Prof. Chudinov using… Russian language.

A somewhat similar situation has occurred with another obvious culture that mysteriously ‘disappeared’ without a trace, Prussians. According to official data, the ‘dead’ Prussian language just happened to vanish some time during medieval times, along with entire population.

It was also shown by both Chudinov and the Fomenko/Nosovsky School of the New Chronology that history of ancient Rome, Greece, Egypt, etc., was falsified and aged to make the West seem older. Russian history was made shorter and less significant. Further, these and other researchers demonstrated how the world’s grandest ever theft had taken place in front of people’s very eyes: between 17th and 18th centuries many events from Russian history were stolen or twisted, and attributed to the West. In other words, black was made white and vice versa. This bomb of a story is long, shocking and revealing. One day I’ll tell you everything I know…

I have only heard about Chudinov, Fomenko/Nosovsky and other Russian researchers, such as late Prof. Svetlana Zharnikova and late Prof. Levashov, a year or so ago, when I first began searching for confirmations of my own theories and discoveries on the Internet. More and more information is becoming public daily, and more and more voices sound, adding to the whole picture of historic truths vs. falsehood.

I do not necessarily agree with every single conclusion presented by these researchers, but I do agree with their vision, main premise and grand principle of their studies and revelations.

I also disagree with those who try to use this new vision of human history as a means to elevate the Russians and Vedic Rus above everyone else. This reverse elitism I don’t condone. I certainly understand that in big part it is a backlash against many years of grave injustices and vilification suffered by Russians. Such response is consistent with the law of pendulum: the further the pendulum swings in one direction, the bigger the inertia that will carry it in the opposite direction, to compensate for it.

However, Russians at their core are very fair, generous and magnanimous. The moment humanity stops brewing in falsehoods it has created and acknowledges the real contribution of the Rus, Russians will forgive and extend their ladon’ (hand) yet again.

The Lada Law – law of harmony and good will – will again be in effect

I strongly believe that we are all ONE: close relatives, brothers and sisters. The reason we need to know the truth is not to feel superior to others. Only those with an inferiority complex need that. This fresh knowledge and wisdom are necessary for mankind to get out of the vicious karmic loop in which it is stuck, akin to the groundhog day effect. Only by looking the truth in the eye, making peace, reconciling the differences and wisely rising above past errors will humanity break the karmic cycle.

The parts of humanity that need this closure more than others include: the West, namely USA, Canada and Europe; Ukraine; the Middle East; Africa. Others have lesser karmic debt of varying degrees.

Unfortunately, in the past humans stubbornly preferred not to see the truth because of their ego, fear and greed. As a result, when karmic conflict became insurmountable, wars would begin. Alternatively, plague, cholera and other diseases materialized. Another version of karmic retribution could be Ice Ages, earth quakes, The Great Flood, or the Comet of Karma as described in my novel The Earth Shifter. After wars and calamities, invariably humans would see the light, reform, talk, and try to create a more peaceful existence. Yet, after a while, human memory would fail again.

Some of us are here to remind the rest of humanity that there is a better way. We often have talking names – those names that wayshow what we are here to do. Such as Lada Ray. Or Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin.

Why history was falsified and Russian history shortened

The same sorry state of affairs is taking place in other sciences. A good example is archeology. A very common situation is when an archeologist finds items inconsistent with official theories. Such discoveries, offered to us by the Mother Earth in order to give a hint of our true history, normally get buried.

The reason for that is threefold:

1. A powerful sold-out ‘academic’ lobby that exists in any science. Such lobby, consisting of those who built their careers on false theories, cannot fathom allowing any other theories, which would dampen their reputations and render their entire lives useless. In other words, an ordinary human ego at work.

2. The consciousness of mankind, I am sorry to say, is still not good enough and high enough to allow the truth to come through. When consciousness is high enough, the breakthrough has to happen. There are hopeful indications that the truth is being heard by more advanced humans. The cracks in the old are developing, and I, on my part, will do everything in my power to help spread the truth, knowledge and light as The Great Earth Shift progresses and takes hold on the planet.

3. The most obvious reason for falsifications and today’s false reality is the extreme Russophobia by the West. There is a very serious and deep-seated reason for that. I discussed it previously in ESRs and articles, and I will definitely continue talking about it in THE PUTIN ENIGMA.

To wet your appetite, here is a brief version: The drive of the overly yang West to suppress and malign Russia the Great Balancer has to do with the desire to take over the world.

To be sure, Russians are as much to blame for allowing all this to happen. That said, we have to look into the future. It is now time to correct the horrific distortions and right the wrongs.

My favorite multidimensional tools for revealing the truth & undoing falsified history

As I mentioned many a time, in fact, linguistics is probably our best multidimensional tool for figuring out how much our past has been distorted and what our true history should look like. In connection with other disciplines, such as anthropology, geology, archeology, genetics, as well as the very unlikely sciences such as math, astronomy and computer science, linguistics can recreate the picture of true history of which we were robbed.

To be honest, there are much better multidimensional tools for knowing your past, present and future. These tools are Vedic in nature. They are claircognizance, clairaudience, psychic regression or progression, shamanic travel and Akashic Records. Quantum Calibrations performed through kinesiology testing are also helpful.

However, most humans cannot understand these tools, nor know how to use them. As mentioned, the human consciousness level isn’t allowing such advanced tools to be used properly.

In this situation, the very best tool is actually linguistics, including etymology, toponymics, comparative linguistics (not the false kind used today, but the true one), true timeline & temporal linguistics. But forget history of languages and anything that relies on formalized history, as much of it is a lie. The new promising tool, introduced by Russian linguist Valery Chudinov, is called geo-linguistics. Chudinov is very important to rediscovery of our true roots. Remember this name, you’ll hear me mention it in the future!

Lada Ray Report: Putin’s visit to Slovenia, Slavic Union and Russia

New Ask LadaForbidden History & Geopolitical Trends episode!

Russian Chapel on the Vršič Pass Slovenia

Russian Chapel on the Vršič Pass – Slovenia

Christa says

Mr. Putin is in Slovenia, attending the 100th anniversary of a Russian Chapel in Slovenia. This chapel is in a very beautiful spot and has huge emotional value for Russia. Mr. Putin spoke there, imagine, Slovenia is in the EU and the president of Slovenia, Mr. Pahor, invited him to be there! Lada do you know more about this special place? I understand it was built by comrades in memory of their fallen friends….would love to know more!

Lada says:

Great questions, Christa!

True facts about Russian Chapel on the Vršič Pass and the Russian Road, Slovenia

The Russian Chapel on the Vršič pass (Slovene: Ruska kapelica na Vršiču) is a Russian Orthodox chapel located on the Russian Road on the northern side of the Vršič pass in northwestern Slovenia. The chapel, dedicated to Saint Vladimir, was built by Russian prisoners of war engaged in forced labor by Austria-Hungary/Germany during World War I. It serves as both a war memorial and a symbolic link between Slovenia and Russia.

In early 1915, the small town of Kranjska Gora suddenly became strategically important due to its proximity to the Isonzo Front. To facilitate access from the town to the front, the Austro-Hungarian authorities ordered the construction of a military road across the Vršič pass, a 1,611 m pass between the Sava and Soča Valleys, to be built by Russian prisoners of war (POWs).

The road was begun in May 1915, and was completed by the end of the year. To ensure an uninterrupted supply of materiel to the front lines, the pass was to be kept traversable year-round, and the POWs were made to clear the road of heavy snowfall. On 8 or 12 March 1916 (sources vary), an avalanche buried a POW work camp, killing approximately 110 prisoners and about 7 guards. During the time of the construction there were more than 380 casualties in total. Exact casualty figures were never determined, either for the victims of the avalanche of for those of the brutal overwork and appalling conditions.

The Russian camp was located roughly halfway up the slope of Vršic. Until November 1916, the remaining prisoners built a small wooden memorial chapel. The building is of typical Russian design, with two small towers on either side of the nave, and is surrounded by prisoners’ graves and a pyramid-shaped memorial marker to the immediate right of the chapel, with the Cyrillic inscription reading “To the sons of Russia”.

The site was renovated in 2005, at a cost of €90,000, and again in 2010 after a theft of the copper roof plates. The pass road on the Kranjska Gora side from Erika Hotel to the top was renamed “Russian Road” (Ruska cesta) in June 2006.

slovenia-26th-july-2015-the-russian-orthodox-chapel-at-the-vrsic-pass St Vladimir’s Chapel on Vršič Pass, July 26, 2015 ceremony

It’s rather fitting, and it’s certainly a sign, that the chapel is named after Saint Vladimir, don’t you think?

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Slovenia, July 30, 2016

These are videos from RT on YouTube:

Putin opens the monument to the fallen Soviet soldiers at the memorial cemetery in the center of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia.

Putin’s speech at centennial ceremony at the Russian Chapel on the Vršič Pass: ‘I am very happy to once more visit the friendly Slovenia, where guests from Russia are always welcome.’

Putin’s 2016 visit to Slovenia is dedicated to several events: the opening of the WWII memorial for the Soviet soldiers; tribute to the 100 year-anniversary of the Russian POW WWI tragedy in Slovenia’s Vrsic Pass in the Julian Alps; negotiations with Slovenian government.

Russia and Slovenia have traditional cultural ties and some trade. Admittedly, Slovenia would love to have broader economic relations with Russia, but any attempts to do so are promptly squashed by EU. For example, Slovenia was one of the earliest supporters of the now scrapped South Stream. I’m certain that part of Putin’s visit is dedicated to figuring out a workaround for the Russian gas pipeline.

In this regard, in several days Putin will be meeting with Turkey’s Erdogan in Russia. The reasons for the visit and the agenda have been shrouded in mystery. However, I anticipate that one of the topics to be discussed will be the renewal of Turkish Stream project and various related deals. I’d predicted last year that Turkish Stream was a viable project that would not be abandoned, despite what so many ‘analysts’ said (Explosive Consequences of Turkey Downing Russian Su-24 Jet in Syria – Complete Analysis and Predictions). Other topics on the Putin-Erdogan agenda will be equally explosive (incidentally, at the bottom you’ll see my pre-announcement for the upcoming Erdogan’s War Earth Shift Report).

Slovenia’s conundrum and sickening Western Russophobia

Slovenia is a part of EU and NATO, and so, as expected, a truly deafening howling immediately began in the EU due to Putin’s visit. Just look at this ‘European,’ complete with his article published in Irish Times. I can imagine this kind of **** floating freely around all of Western MSM for the consumption of the brainwashed EU sheeple. As usual, it’s a gloriously seamless blend of semi-truths and absolutely sickening Russophobia.

My diagnosis:

Russophobia is a very special kind of incurable, in many cases terminal, disease, slowly but surely eating through one’s very soul – well, if such person ever had one.

An awfully disrespectful and distasteful Irish Times article: Putin cannot escape controversy even in remote Slovenian chapel. Below is an excerpt – I’ve refrained from quoting the most disgusting parts, including a sick quote from ‘Ukrainian ambassador.’ Read the whole thing for yourself via link above!

“Slovenia’s Vrsic Pass is a tranquil place, thick with wildflowers and pines, but one glade rang this week to the sound of brisk labour. At a height of 1,200 metres, beside a historic road that twists beneath the pale peaks of the Julian Alps, the 100-year-old “Russian Chapel” was being made ready for a controversial visitor.

As workers erected covered platforms to protect VIPs from the changeable weather, down the valley at Ljubljana airport a big Ilyushin jet delivered people who would make other, less visible preparations for the arrival of Russian president Vladimir Putin. With his Slovenian counterpart Borut Pahor, Putin will reach the chapel via a road built in 1915 by Russian prisoners of war, whose Austro-Hungarian captors needed a new supply route.

In March 1916, just months after the “Russian Road” was completed, an avalanche swept down the mountainside, killing between 100 and 300 Russian POWs and up to 80 Austro-Hungarian guards (LR: lie – correct numbers above). The surviving Russian prisoners built the St Vladimir chapel that same year and erected a headstone dedicated to the “Sons of Russia” who were buried nearby.

Political significance: Since 1992, the Slovenia- Russia Society has held a ceremony each year at the chapel, but none has caused a stir quite like today’s centenary event. Slovenian officials want to play down the political significance of Putin’s visit, but ties between Russia and the West have now become so strained that his arrival in an EU or Nato state intrigues many and alarms some. His half-day in Slovenia comes amid Moscow’s alleged meddling in the US presidential election in favour of Donald Trump and lingering discord with the West over everything from doping in sport to continued conflict in Syriaand UkrainePutin is also seen as a key beneficiary of Brexit, which is expected to weaken fraying EU resolve to maintain sanctions against Russia for annexing Crimea from Ukraine and fomenting a separatist insurgency in the east of the country (LR: oh, you want to play that game? Ok then! Says IRISHMAN, whose country for years supported SEPARATISTS in Northern Ireland and TERRORISTS terrorizing London! How does that sound?).

Many senior EU officials now believe Moscow is using everything from energy supplies to propaganda to funding for extreme Eurosceptic parties to turn cracks in the crisis-ridden bloc into potentially unbridgeable chasms. (LR: Oh, really? How about $5 bln US admitted to spending to ‘subvert Ukraine’ and all those innocent EU leaders who were on Kiev Maidan nudging protesters to overthrow Yanukovich and promising full support of the EU? What about US/EU induced revolutions on post-Soviet space and NATO expansion to Russian borders? Should I go on?)

The Kremlin said only that Putin and Pahor would discuss “co-operation issues in trade and the economy, investment, and the cultural and humanitarian fields. An exchange of views on current international and regional issues will also take place.” Slovenian foreign minister Karl Erjavec insisted Putin’s visit to the country – which is on the planned route of a currently frozen Russian gas pipeline project – was not a sign of Ljubljana breaking ranks with the West over Russia.

“President Pahor discussed with the leaders of the EU and Nato members about the intended invitation . . . before he actually extended it,” Erjavec told The Irish Times.

“On many occasions I explained to my colleagues in the EU and Nato the commemorative nature of the event. Slovenia stands for dialogue and peaceful resolution of all outstanding issues and disputes. I consider the ceremony on the occasion of the Russian Chapel centenary to be not only a tribute to the victims of the nations of the then tsarist Russia, but something much greater: I see it as a message of peace.”

Hero and victim: For some EU member states and their allies, however, any dealings with Putin only serve his bid to resume “business as usual” with Europe. In visiting the chapel and unveiling a new memorial in Ljubljana to Soviet troops killed during the second World War, Putin will again portray his country as both hero and victim, whose glory and pain the West belittles. At the same time, he is likely to call on the West to unite with Moscow against terrorism, while seeking to relegate Ukraine’s conflict to the status of a minor local difficulty.” END QUOTE

As to Ireland, I really, really was of a higher opinion of it! I seriously would love to see the reaction of the Irish if a Russian publication wrote in the same mockingly obtuse tone about the victims of the Irish Potato Famine, or about the victims of the Irish plight for independence against the Brits. Sorry to see how appallingly brainwashed the Irish turn out to be. Their loss…

But we are here to talk about the Russian chapel, Slovenia, Russia and Balkans in general. From the above quote it’s easy to see how huge is the pressure to toe the line for Slovenia. The country’s president and PM actually have to ASK PERMISSION, jumping out of their skin to justify themselves to the EU for inviting a leader of another country to a traditional for those parts, and historic, event! What a humiliation, what a loss of sovereignty!

This is NOT by accident, but by design! The West, US, EU and globalists want one thing from all Slavs: they want to break up traditional historic ties, delete ancestral memory and create a broad swath of alien countries to surround Russia. They have succeeded, albeit temporarily, in Ukraine, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova (latter two not exactly Slavic, but historically closely related and Orthodox), to name a few. In the Balkans they took over Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo and they are working on getting Macedonia and Montenegro into the fold. They desperately want to squash people’s identity is Serbia.

Out of all these, they genuinely thought Slovenia was fully in their pocket. And what a surprise! Slovenia actually has its own identity and own opinion!

Another striking point: Slovenia stands for dialogue and peaceful resolution of all outstanding issues and disputes.

Important about Slovenia, Serbia and former Yugoslavia!

First, let’s remember this: in the Balkans and elsewhere, one’s attitude towards Russia is connected closely with one’s attitude towards Serbia. If Serbia is perceived as an enemy and/or a rogue state, then Russia is likely perceived as at least not a friend – and vice versa.

Slovenia is the only early breakaway former part of Yugoslavia that never was involved in an armed conflict with Serbs, as opposed to Bosnia and Croatia, plus Kosovo. Conversely, Macedonia (FYRM) and Montenegro (Chernogoria) were split from Serbia later, in order to further weaken it. The collective West, at the time spearheaded by Bill Clinton, correctly perceived that the weakening of Serbia meant by default the handicapping of Russia.

Slovenia is a Slavic-populated country – as attested by its name; the language spoken is Slovenian (Slovene).

In truth, the differences between Yugoslav languages are minor and they really should be considered dialects of the same South-Slavic (aka, Yugoslav) tongue. The differences in many cases are akin to the degree of closeness of the Russian – Belorussian language relationship. In other words, it’s even closer than Russian – Ukrainian language relationship. And even Ukrainian, in my professional opinion as a linguist and native language carrier of both, should be considered a dialect. Read about that in Discovering The Real Belarus and in Earth Shift Reports: ESR2: Ukraine Truth, Lies & Future Hope and ERS6: Ukraine – New Khazarian Khaganate.

Southern Slavic languages are also very close to Russian. As an example, the name of the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana, doesn’t really need a translation. Without knowing the language, I can tell you that it is very close to the Russian word lyubov’, which means love. Therefore, Ljubljana is likely translated as ‘the city of love,’ or perhaps, ‘the beloved place/city.’

Incidentally, those with a keen eye will recognize the same root ‘lyub’ in the English love. This again attests to something I often stress: we are ALL ONE, we all come from the same root, and all these barriers – political, military or linguistic – are artificial! Read more in Forbidden History: Are Scandinavians Slavs? and under Category: Forbidden Linguistics.

Historically, Slovenia is arguably the most ‘Westernized’ of all Yugoslavia and the closest to Austria and Hungary, having been a part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. As a result of religious conversion, the population is presently primarily Catholic.

Balkans, political map

Balkans, political map

As it so often happened in history, the difference in religion is what served as the foreign-induced pretext for the ’90s civil wars of Orthodox Serbs vs. Catholic Croats & Muslim Bosnians/ Kosovo Albanians. US/EU needed to breakup Yugoslavia pronto while Russia was at her weakest – and they succeeded admirably. Therefore, it is remarkable that Slovenia actually remained neutral through the ’90s war and it attests to the peaceful character and wisdom of the residents (of course it helps that geographically Slovenia is furthest removed from Serbia).

After the war ended and hot heads cooled down, those who retained reason and common sense began to question the war and resulting artificial separation. It’s much harder for Serbia, Bosnia and Croatia to come around in relation to each other, due to a deep-running resentment and mistrust. Kosovo situation is even worse: it is regarded in Serbia as an outright theft and humiliation. Of course, this division, resulting in lack of sovereignty and animosity was the end target of then US president Clinton and the globalist West.

The ‘divide and conquer’ worked in Yugoslavia’s case all too well. There is never such thing as one side exclusively being guilty of all sins. Since the ’90s, Serbia and Serbs were exclusively vilified, while the atrocities of Croats, Bosnians and Kosovo Albanians were ignored or whitewashed. Moreover, the barbaric NATO bombings of Serbia were presented as a great triumph of Western democracy against evil dictatorship.

The ultimate goal was to humiliate and suppress Serbia so it couldn’t continue being the heart of undesirable sovereignty in the middle of the EU. This goal was achieved. And here I have to tell you the truth, which will be hard for the Serbs to hear. The reason this goal was achieved so easily and so handily is because Serbs ALLOWED it to be achieved. By taking the foreign bait of inter-confessional conflict and civil war they opened an entry point for NATO to tear the country apart. If they were wiser and acted in such a way that would quell the conflict, the degree of the disaster we are observing today could have been diminished in big part.

As a stark contrast to that catastrophic mistake, let’s recall how Russia and Putin had handled the situation with the late ’90s – early 2000s Chechen war. Later in 2008, Russia wisely managed the situation with S.Ossetia/Georgia conflict. And the latest: how differently Russia and Putin are handling the situation in Ukraine! As you know, I predicted from the start of 2014 that Russia would never send troops to Ukraine and that Russia would, conversely, concentrate on peacefully remolding the situation, on turning it around carefully and slowly to de-escalate both regional conflict and WWIII potentiality. As we see, the situation has developed, and continues developing, exactly as predicted. (As always, read PREDICTIONS on top bar).

Therefore, the unwise actions of both sides in the ’90s Balkans conflict caused a rift from which it would take long to recover. However, those parts of Yugoslavia that don’t have much bad blood between themselves have started waking up.

We’ve seen the attempts to reach out to Russia and protest NATO and EU expansion in Macedonia and Montenegro – so far, squashed by the West.

I’ve noticed that for years Slovenia’s government and parliament quietly invited speakers and advisors who were anti-US/West establishment and steadily grew relations with Russia. As I said, Slovenia is the kind of country that will try to get along with everyone. They won’t fight and protest so much as they’ll try to quietly get where they want to be, while others are distracted by fighting. Kinda reminds me of how Zakarpatie (Transcarpathia) Rusins behave, who are presently under Kiev, but want to secede. Incidentally, both were for centuries under Austria-Hungary, so they learned to work quietly for fear of suppression.

Slovenia is the kind of country that is technically a part of EU and NATO, but at the same time it tries to develop and maintain a good relationship with Russia. This is a necessary job – we do desperately need the ‘bridge-countries’ that would help develop and keep connections between Russia and West, despite the destructive forces currently at work in the EU and West in general. Countries like Slovenia keep a small flame alive, protecting it from the raging hurricane and reminding those who would listen that there is another way. Slovenia tries to gently remind Europeans that if the continuing foreign-induced conflict between EU and Russia were to be replaced with cooperation, everyone would win. They aren’t the only ones. Austria tried to do the same, Czech president did as well, while being isolated by his own parliament and government, Hungarian PM Orban tried…

But as I wrote many times before, the crumbling US Empire simply cannot afford Russia and European countries working peacefully and cooperatively together. The artificially built new Iron Curtain is in the works, using the sell-out Poland, Romania and the Baltics, through NATO expansion and BMDS in Eastern Europe.

It’s the Grand Chess Game, however. Putin’s Slovenia visit is one of Russia’s counter-moves. Slovenia sees Russia getting stronger, while EU and US are busy with their own problems. Therefore, Slovenia can make a move of her own. It’s a small and meek move, but it’s an affirmation of a certain allegiance and a nod to the historic memory.

All in all, this is a very good start!

In addition, it’s important to remember that Russians routinely helped ‘brothers’ Slavs, including Slovenians, during several previous great wars. This includes liberating many of the Slavic and Orthodox ‘brothers’ in the Balkans and Eastern/Southern Europe from the Ottoman Empire yoke and helping them during WWI and WWII. The liberation list is very long and includes Czechia, Slovakia, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece and all of Yugoslavia, including of course, Serbia and Slovenia. There indeed are many Russians who fell in the Balkans.

If there are readers from those parts, I invite them to share their experiences in the comments! TRUTH ONLY accepted!

On another note, Slovenia, as much of the former Yugoslavia, has magnificently beautiful nature, with pristine forests, mountains, some parts of ex-Yugoslavia also have a lovely sea shore. I hope it stays that way!

PREDICTIONS & RECOMMENDATIONS:

The Union of Southern Slavs & Russia

It is my strong opinion that the Yugoslavs (the word means ‘Southern Slavs’) need to unite in one country, based on mutually respectful, cooperative principles. They need to use wisdom and reason – not their pride and overinflated egos, while doing so. Failing that, they’ll always be a yo-yo in someone’s unscrupulous hands, ready to be manipulated on moment’s notice.

Uniting is the only way for them to re-gain sovereignty and to be strong enough to withstand foreign pressure and invasions. Incidentally, this South-Slavic/Balkan Union should include Bulgaria. The inclusion of Greece, plus possibly Cyprus (as non-Slavic, but Orthodox countries), is a long shot; but if that were to happen, it would be greatly beneficial for both Greece and all Yugoslavs.

This is what Serbia tried to do: create a union of Southern Slavs. However, for this union to be lasting, Serbs and others have to tuck away their egos and pride and work together for the greater good of all.

The weakness of the Balkans is that it doesn’t have a border with Russia. If it did, history, as we know it, would have been very different… WWI and Yugoslavia ’90s bombings may have never happened. The Russian Empire attempted to establish a friendly corridor to the Balkans via creating from scratch in the 19th century what was thought of back then as ‘friendly’ Romania, having liberated that area from the Ottomans. However, it didn’t take long for Romania to get seduced by the UK, turning it into a problem rather than part of the solution. Therefore, the larger the Union, the more stable it will be. When these little countries are apart they are easy pickings for predators.

If such union of Southern Slavs is created, it would serve as powerful ADDITIONAL counterweight to NWO/globalists, US and EU. It would become a great help for Russia’s global rebalancing efforts. By default, it would mean the strengthening of Russia.

Meanwhile, Russia would also be in much better position to help the Southern Slavic Union to defend itself and to develop its economy. For instance, South Stream pipeline project would be automatically revived as then the YugoSlavic Union, not EU or US, would be deciding whether it should go through Bulgaria or not.

Eventually, Eurasian Union can and should be expanded to include the Southern Slavic Union.

But this is exactly what globalists are afraid of and this is exactly why they want to keep Balkans broken up into small parts.

People can make a difference by uniting, setting aside their old grudges and creating a new reality. I’ve more than once seen my ideas and recommendations materialize into reality, after I voiced them out on FT or in Earth Shift Report.

This is my newest recommendation for Southern Slavs: UNITE!

My recommendation to Russia is to help the process of re-unification in all ways possible!

ADDED 8/1/16:

Trump connection?

Only here will you get this kind of high-grade intel. Two coincidence hits, and I don’t believe in coincidence, Slovenia is where Mrs. Trump is from and the Saint in the spotlight is Vladimir. I can hear the Boyz in Brussels choking on their cocktails. As for the Irish, they are still reeling from British skullduggery going way back. The ones in charge are more British than Irish. But the land has a pure soul and they make the best Rye Whiskey. I’m waiting hopefully for Eirexit and a purge of the bog trotters. Thanks, Lady Lada, for a hard-core spot-on report.

  • Great observation about Trump’s wife! Definitely NOT a coincidence – it’s a message.

    People are awakening! Soon Merkel will be booted out (at least she should). Been recommending this since 2014.

Huge Breaking News! Russia Adopts Simplified New Citizenship Law!

Moscow

I frequently get asked how to move to Russia and especially how to obtain Russian citizenship. As the Western World’s crisis intensifies, as the upcoming uncertainty becomes more obvious, this question is more and more on people’s mind.

Moving to Russia is not a problem if you have a skill or talent Russians value and if you can obtain gainful employment where employer would vouch for you; if you open a business, which provides jobs and pays taxes; if you have certain material assets.

As to the Russian citizenship, until recently, all I could say was that it was VERY hard to obtain. The requirements included residing in Russia for 6 years (1 year + 5 years with residency permit), holding a good job where an employer would vouch for you, plus passing the Russian language and history test. The most discouraging thing for millions of aspirants was that the old law applied to everyone equally, regardless of their circumstances. Of course there are always exceptions, such as a speedy citizenship for Gérard Depardieu, which I can certainly understand. 😉

After what happened in the late 1980s and 1990s, including a huge drainage of valuable talent and skill, when millions moved to the West where they were paid more (some have returned already), plus the fracturing of the Russian world, when the estimated 25 million Russians became stuck in often unfriendly regimes, a knee jerk reaction made Russia very reticent about accepting anyone back easily.

I’ve been expecting the new citizenship law for years. A few years ago I was in talks with the Russian embassy in the US, advising them that they really needed to do something about their tough citizenship laws. I told them that they would immediately get a lot of valuable specialists, should they finally liberalize the Russian citizenship requirements! Looks like my message got across to the right people.

The law isn’t as comprehensive and broad as many hoped, but it’s a giant leap forward. Many – yours truly included – thought Russians were way too slow in adopting the new citizenship law. However, there were legitimate reasons for this extreme caution.

And it’s better late than never! I anticipate that the surprise news with which the Russian government just came out will generate a stampede of those desirous to move to Russia and obtain Russian citizenship. I keep hearing from my international contacts that several hundred thousand Russian Germans residing in Germany are awaiting their permits to repatriate to Russia. The Russian Germans are German nationals whose ancestors used to lived in Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

I hear from various Russians residing in the US, usually scientists, techies, art and sports professionals, that they can’t wait for an opportunity to return to Russia. Don’t even get me started on how many millions want to leave Ukraine, Moldova, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, as well as various Eastern Europe countries!

This is mega-news, and while the newly adopted law isn’t as broad as was initially proposed and it doesn’t apply to all categories that are hoping for Russian citizenship, it opens the floodgates for millions to emigrate to Russia. The expected immediate impact is 2-3 million applicants.

Actually, at this point let me pause for a second and enjoy picturing George Soros squirming from the news. As you know, enjoying anyone, even that entity, suffering is not my style, but here I think it’s rather appropriate. After all, Soros – the pointman of the dark NWO agenda – throughout 1980s-2000s had made it his life’s mission to drain Russia of all resources, including the most valuable resource, her people, to feed then growing NWO machine.

The next step would have been the dismemberment and destruction of the World’s Great Balancer, Russia, followed by a wholesale re-writing of history to eliminate for the future generations the truth of Russia’s role and very existence. In the long bygone eras this had already happened more than once; the truth of our real origins and roots was deleted, while lies were inserted in our psyche. As it is, we presently live in the 90% falsified history, and only faint echos of truth still exist in our languages and lore, visible only to those who know where to look. For just a small hint of the truth read my piece Forbidden History: Are Scandinavians Slavs?

According to the master plan, the destruction of Russia would have been followed by the complete and final takeover of the world by what we came to call NWO: the New World Order.

As I predicted in ESR1: IS PUTIN PART OF NWO?, it is now turning into the ‘old world order.’

It appeared in the ’90s and throughout 2000s Soros and his cronies have almost succeeded. It was only after Vladimir Putin came to power that the trend began reversing in earnest. Helped by all those of us who saw where the wind was blowing, he thwarted their careful plans and this is the real reason Putin is so universally feared and hated by the Western elites. This is also the reason he is so universally loved and supported in Russia and all over the world.

The way the new simplified Russian citizenship law has been worded, it primarily targets those who reside in the West, especially US, Canada, UK, Germany, France and EU in general. Therefore, this is the law that targets valuable professionals, people with assets and Western know-how.

It also targets some people residing in the post-Soviet space, especially the Baltics (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania – all members of the EU and NATO) and to a smaller degree, Ukraine, Caucasus, Belarus and Central Asia..

I’ll soon have a detailed report about the new Russian citizenship law & how it works.

It’ll come out in a different format than my usual FT articles and ESRs.

Stay tuned for my big announcements in July and August!

Pravda: Muhammad Ali on Russia, USSR, Leonid Brezhnev

RIP Muhammad Ali (1/17/1942 – 6/3/2016)

I thought this was an interesting thing to recall in connection with the topics we often discuss here on FT, as related to the great boxer and pacifist Muhammad Ali.

muhammad ali and leonid brezhnev

Muhammad Ali visiting the USSR – meeting with Leonid Brezhnev

Thanks to Akaida for the comment with this telling quote:

AKAIDA

Muhammad Ali on his visit to USSR in 1978

“I’m very impressed by a meeting with Leonid Brezhnev. I find it hard to find the words… I am a simple American boxer, but I was honored to meet Mr. Brezhnev. I used to hear that the Russians are always threatening Americans, but I am convinced that this is not true. Brezhnev is a supporter of world peace”. Leonid Brezhnev, who during the WW2 fought against Nazis, gave Ali the book “The small land”. Ali called this gift “the best in his life”. “I’ll ask my friend Soviet Ambassador to the USA Dobrynin to translate this book for me”, Ali told reporters.

“It’s hard to believe, that such a peaceful country wants war. And Brezhnev, I never thought he was such a quiet and calm person. It is difficult to imagine that he can be the person who would start a war. I have not seen a hitchhiker on the road, and I have not seen a single beggar on the streets of Soviet Russia. I had never felt so safe: no risk of being robbed. I was told that there is no freedom of religion in the Soviet Union, but Muslims, Christians and Jews worship freely here. I think the relationship between our people is bad just because of false propaganda”.

“I was a little nervous when I landed in Russia. I thought I’d see the country in ruins, with a crowd of gloomy people who think like robots, and intelligence agents, who would follow my every step. Instead, I saw a country populated by a hundred nationalities, who are living together in harmony.”

ali in USSR

“I saw a country populated by a 100 nationalities, living together in harmony.” Muhammad Ali, USSR 1978

And this is a little bit about how I see the USSR and Brezhnev’s era, during which I grew up as a child. I never knew about the above quotes by Ali, yet you’ll surely find many synchronicities between his words and what I say in the video, which I published in 2015. Watch my video:

WHO REALLY RULED USSR? The Secret of Brezhnev’s Passport (LadaRayLive 17)

More to the point, these are some related posts:

CALIBRATIONS & PRAVDA

This seems like going beyond the above topic, but to me the issue of the truthpravda in Russian – is intrinsically connected with Muhammad Ali, the man who once uttered: we, humans, are tenants here on Earth, and we’ve got to pay our rent. The truth of this seemingly simple statement is very profound. It’s sad that so many humans do not understand this simple truth and still attempt to get something for nothing. In the end, there is always a price to pay – call it karma, the law of consequences, or luck – good or bad.

As many of my readers may know, my QUANTUM CALIBRATIONS SCALE helps understand and interpret global events, people, underlying motivations, objects and subjects a lot deeper and with much more precision than just mere superficial analysis. If you haven’t yet, check out my QUANTUM CALIBRATIONS SCALE on LadaRay.info (this, and lots of other FREE super-info is hiding under EARTH SHIFT SYSTEM on top navigation bar!). On the page, you’ll also find links to my Calibrations videos on Lada Ray YT channel. Click on those to get a complete picture of how it works. Lots of freebies there as well!

To help you orient yourselves better in all the above, let me take this opportunity to give you some quantum calibration examples.

Let’s recall something important about QUANTUM CALIBRATIONS SCALE: the higher the calibration (unseen spiritual energy vibration), the more truth (the telling Russian word is PRAVDA) there is in a person, statement, action, etc. Consequently, the lower the calibration/energy vibration the more falsehood you will encounter in a person, action, statement, country, book, article, etc. It’s also very useful to calibrate separate chakras as each is responsible for certain segments and directions of our life here on Earth. One of the most important is the heart chakra as its vibration will resonate on the level corresponding with how ‘GOOD’ and ‘TRUE’ – or not – the object or subject really is.

Russian word for truth is ‘pravda.’ The etymology of this word is truly striking. Here is how it was formed (some vowels in the process of historic usage became eliminated for shortness, which is typical of Slavic languages:

pravda = po (in accordance with; in harmony with) – ra (light; male god) – vo (or va – female fertility goddess; Mother Earth) – da (yes; I affirm). In other words, the true ancient meaning of this word is:

PRAVDA = ‘I affirm that I live in harmony with divine light and Mother Earth’s wisdom’

(One day I’ll tell you what the English word ‘truth’ really means & I promise you’re gonna flip!)

Now let’s calibrate!

Legend: Calibration = C; Chi Level = Chi; Heart Chakra = HC

NOTE: human calibrations may change through life based on many factors. I’m using calibrations at the time the subjects’ pictures shown above were taken.

Muhammad Ali: C: 280 (neutrality/friendliness); Chi: 585 (joy/high creation); HC: 210 (courage)

Leonid Brezhnev: C: 210 (courage); Chi: 490 (humanity/compassion); HC: 198 (yearning/striving – just under min. positive calibration of 200)

(In my article Goodbye Harper! Canada Celebrates New PM Trudeau’s Overwhelming Victory – With Analysis and Predictions, we discussed how hard it is for a politician to preserve a good heart chakra. Incidentally, Trudeau and his wife’s heart chakra calibrations have gone down since elections. See article for my original calibrations. The spike in calibration due to the huge win can be attributed to the excitement and hope associated with it. But then the reality drags the calibration down to settle it within the usual norm for a particular individual.)

Jimmy Carter (as depicted on video’s pic above): C 190 (pride – not good for world leader, but most Western ‘leaders’ calibrate at that level, or even much below); Chi: 150 (anger – oh my, embarrassingly low); HC: 90 (grief/depression!!!) And this is a US PRESIDENT – can you imagine how utterly wrong his decisions that impacted us all might have been! As I said, this is a very common story for US presidents and politicians, and generally for Western politicians.

NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS

I’ve been asked by some when I would resume my Calibrations Readings and Earth/Personal Shift Consultations. At this time I find my schedule full and, unfortunately, I can’t spare enough time for consultations. However, I may do online workshops instead, to teach you all how to calibrate and interpret your calibrations. This way more people will be able to do it themselves. If in the future I am able to resume my individual Consultations, I’ll announce them on LadaRay.info. In the future, I may also do an Earth Shift Report dedicated to global calibrations of importance.

At this time, you can order

Your Personal Feng Shui Empowerment & Success Report

which I put together personally, just for you.

The good news, I am presently working on new surprise EARTH SHIFT REPORTS. Hope to announce them soon.

How to reformat reople’s consciousness and keep them as obedient slaves

I want to introduce you to a new translation by our friend Stanislav (Nemo). Galician Intellectuals Wishing to Deprive Ukrainian of the Cyrillic Alphabet. I also want to direct you to Stanislav’s other recent piece: How Malorossia Was Turned into the Patch-quilt of Discord that is “Ukraine”. In it, with permission he uses an excerpt and maps from my Earth Shift Report 2. Ukraine: Truth, Lies & Future Hope, which provide a visually good idea about Ukraine’s history, its present situation, and future options.

Stanislav asked for my thoughts on what’s going on with reformatting of Ukraine’s alphabet. My thoughts are of a global character, but they reference what’s happening now in Ukraine, and what happened a very long time in Russian/Slavic World. Here is what comes to mind when I read about Latinization of Ukrainian language.

FORBIDDEN HISTORY AND LINGUISTICS

How to rule the sheeple:

REFORMATTING PEOPLE’S CONSCIOUSNESS

Certain forces in Ukraine are trying to abolish the traditional Russian/Cyrillic alphabet and Latinize Ukrainian alphabet. Those who read my ESR2: UKRAINE – TRUTH, LIES & FUTURE HOPE, know certain facts from Ukraine’s history, including the fact that Ukrainian is really a southern dialect of the Russian language (aka, Malorussian dialect), which was given the status of a separate language by Lenin and the Bolsheviks in 1922, with the formation of the USSR. It was a very strong and distinctive dialect, spoken by millions, with a lot of its own cultural flavor and charm, but it was a dialect, nevertheless. It didn’t occur to those who lived in Malorossia in 19th century that they were NOT Russians. Some of them, those who lived in western and certain central parts, called themselves Rusins.

From ESR2 you’ll also recall that there was no known term ‘Ukraine’ per se before 19th century, and that this term was created by Poles and Austria-Hungary, in order to create a rift in Malorossia population’s consciousness. The aggressive and subversive attempts to create a separate mentality and separate language in the south of the Russian World went on for centuries. It was the battle for minds and territories. The project Malorossia (today: Ukraine) as anti-Russia wasn’t invented in 2014. In 18th and 19th centuries Austria-Hungary and Poland did everything to make it happen. Before that, there were other forces, which attempted various tactics to achieve the same. Read more in the ESR2 report.

The same is true for Belorussian language. Belorussian language miraculously appeared in 1922. Before Lenin delineated Belarus as separate republic, there was Minsk Gubernia (‘governorship’ headed by a governor, akin to an oblast in today’s terms) as part of the Russian Empire. There NEVER was a state called Belarus. There was, of course, a distinct western Russian dialect spoken by quite a few people. The thing is that some people on the Russian side of the Belorussian border still speak that western Russian dialect. This only proves the artificiality of the borders separating the same people.

Of course, Belarus and Russia are in a good relationship, compared to Ukraine. But even in Belarus there are continuous attempts to Latinize the alphabet, thus distancing Belarus even further from Russia. Meanwhile, while Belorussian language exists, very few use it every day. Belorussians overwhelmingly speak Russian in life, business and on TV. Yet, the public sings and documents are in Belorussian and kids at school are taught a suspicious version of separate from Russia history. How far will it be allowed to go? I suspect not too far, compared to Ukraine.

This discussion has jogged something in my mind, which goes into one of my favorite topics: Forbidden History and Linguistics.

WHAT IS THE RUSSIAN CODE?

The ancient western Rus dialect (now spoken in modified form in Belarus and some western parts of Russia proper), has been proven to be very close to the Etruscan language. As many of you may know, millennia ago there was a mysterious and very advanced civilization that lived in today’s Italy, which created amazing works of art, but for some strange reason this advanced civilization failed to leave behind much written evidence of its presence and achievements. When finally some Etruscan language rocks were ‘discovered’ in Italy, they were declared ‘illegible.’ Ancient Romans had a Latin saying, translating as: ‘Etruscan is not legible.’ Western linguists and archeologists repeated this saying like a mantra. They scratched their heads and shrugged shoulders: ‘not legible, what are you going to do. Ah, well… a mystery, I tell’ya.’

Of course it wasn’t legible, as these Western ‘scientists’ tried to use Latin and Italian as foundation for their translation… Until Russian professor Valery Chudinov read Etruscan in western Russian dialect, using one of the 4 ancient Rus/Arian (later, Slavic) writing systems. The whole new world of the ancient Et-RUS-cans opened up as a result. This alphabet/ writing system, called the ‘mirror alphabet’ was very different from the more widely used Runitsa and Bukvitsa alphabets/ writing systems.

key to rus bukvitsa

This image shows how sacred geometry is the key to understanding Slavic Bukvitsa

This is a very big topic, which deserves several books, not a mere article. However, it has to be mentioned that the ancient Runitsa and Bukvitsa writing systems far preceded any Western writing system. How old are they? Many millennia, at least. Per Russian linguist Chudinov, about 1000+ years ago, at the point of the switch from Vedism to Christianity, Runitsa was chopped off and shortened, having been deprived of its wisdom and secret knowledge meant to be passed on to future generations. What was left of the original Bukvitsa is known as Cyrillics, with 33 letters. It is attributed to two Bulgarian/Macedonian Orthodox monks, Kirill and Mefodiy.

In its original complete version, Bukvitsa had over 150 letters, if memory serves me. Each letter signified a specific word and a specific concept. The whole alphabet was a symphonic poem that could be read as a Vedic prayer to the Universe.

A similar fate was endured by the poor Runitsa (notice: Ru-nitsa – Rus). All that’s left are a few of the so-called Nordic Runes. Read Forbidden History: Are Scandinavians Slavs?

No, of course the real ancient Bukvitsa and Runitsa didn’t disappear. True wisdom is diligently preserved by some linguists, historians, enthusiasts and other keepers of ancient wisdom. It’s all hidden in archives, books, ancient ruins and the Mother Earth itself, waiting for its time, the time when people shake off the matrix of lies and decide to find out the truth of their roots – their true history.

I often call Bukvitsa and Runitsa – and the hidden message they encode for future generations – THE RUSSIAN CODE. These two ancient alphabets were fifth-dimensional creations (as opposed to three-dimensional alphabets we use now), and they work on the level of cooperation and union with creation, nature and other humans.

Read my new article on how third dimension and fifth dimension work: GUIDE TO MULTI-DIMENSIONAL UNIVERSE.

Today’s alphabets were once simplified for ‘the sheeple.’

I can explain a sudden disappearance of the Etruscans millennia ago very simply. Their consciousness was reformatted to believe they were someone else: Romans, and later, Italians. A rift in consciousness is necessary for rulers to control the people. If people forget their true history, their true roots and language, a consciousness vacuum will be created to be filled with whatever someone with an agenda desires.

etruscan writing

Etruscan mirror writing, read using western Rus dialect

Predictably, Chudinov’s, and other Slavic researchers,’ discoveries were shunned and swept under the rug in the West. The reason for this is the same: reformatting people’s consciousness and keeping them in the dark regarding their real origins and roots. This ensures they continue being obedient little slaves.

Latinizing Ukrainian denotes one of the trends, presently pushed hard by the West, as well as certain forces within these countries that want to be quickly bound to the West while it’s possible – before the reversal happens. I can tell you that the reversal will begin happening within a few years.

Before it begins, a strong pressure to Latinize the traditional for the past 1000 plus years Cyrillic alphabet in various countries of the Russian/Slavic world has to be intensified. This is done with a very specific purpose: further division of the Russian/Slavic world, leading to the weakening of Russia and creation of rabidly Russophobic anti-Russias in the post-Soviet or peripheral Russian World countries.

The experiment so far worked successfully in Moldova, where Romanian Latinized alphabet is now used instead of traditional Cyrillic. The Balkans countries (Bulgaria and still holding out parts of former Yugoslavia) are under huge pressure to Latinize. Muslim and Catholic parts of former Yugoslavia have switched to Latinized alphabet in 1990s, during, or after, the Yugoslavian civil war.

A different alphabet and language, like a different religion, has always served as a means to divide and conquer for those puppeteers and useful vassals who wanted to rule lesser humans with impunity. Such division also justifies aggression against close neighbors or parts of the same people.

I can tell you that this is how all of Europe, and before that, all of Eurasia, became divided on small tribes and states. Once upon a time, all of Eurasia, and beyond, spoke the same language and had the same set of beliefs. I know, I know, it’s hard to believe… But certain linguistic, historic and anthropological facts are undeniable. Facts go well beyond these traditional sciences, of course, and extend to math, astronomy and DNA.

You can find some of my articles on this topic under CATEGORIES:

I’ll continue talking about proofs in upcoming articles this year and beyond. Stay tuned!

I should add that what both Stanislav and I discuss in our pieces relative to Ukraine’s history is common knowledge where I come from. In fact, it always has been such undeniable axiom that it never occurred to me or others that such blatant reformatting could take place so quickly and easily. What happened in Ukraine, when the switch was just turned on at the right moment, proves how delicate our world is and how easily swayed the fragile human psyche can be.

Looking back at what happened in 2014 in Kiev, these are the lessons and important conclusions we must take away:

1. When intelligent and educated people leave, the vacuum created will usher in the pretenders, greedy crooks and liars, who will sell their own mother and children for the right amount or 15 minutes of fame.

2. There are always those who want what belongs to someone else. Normal people don’t think that way and they can’t imagine that anyone would do that. But psychopaths and sociopaths in power in the West DO think that way and they DO want what belongs to others.

3. The West wants to destroy Russia and eradicate the memory of the true history and true roots of the Earth’s people at any cost. These two desires are much more interconnected than anyone realizes. How are they interconnected? Like this: it all boils down to Russia.

4. Russia is the Great Balancer, who is destined to prevent the unencumbered takeover of the world by what we may refer to as Anglo-American elites, or NWO.

5. My diagnosis for the Western aggression is this: the West represents the yang side of the yin-yang balance of our planet; at this time, we have a severe yin-yang imbalance, dominated by the overly aggressive, imbalanced Western yang side of the world, which leads to excessive aggression, greed, preponderance of physical and material over the suppressed spiritual. We have wars, distortions of history and relentless takeover of the rest of the world by one single culture and one way of thinking.

6. It is Russia alone that stands in the way of such takeover, China and a few other countries being in this category, as well. But only to a degree, mostly as followers. Countries like China take the wait and see approach and try to let Russia take the brunt of the attack and do most, if not all, of the work. Unfortunately, this happened many times before in our history. What no one seems to get is one simple truth: if Russia is weakened or gone, no one else will resist and everyone will be forced to conform.

7. At the same time, Russian language and history are the most important depositories of the secret (forbidden truth and history) of our real origins and real roots. The genetic memory of the truth is one of the strongest in the Russian psyche. Russia will be called to re-unite different tribes on our planet and to help people remember. This fascinating story is a long and separate subject. I intend to write a an Earth Shift Report on that later in the year.

8. Example of how the truth was distorted: The English word ‘roots’ is in fact the Russian word ‘rod.’ The ancient Rus word ROD (English doesn’t have the right sound in it, but approximately it is pronounced as ‘raud’ – except Rus ‘o’ is very rounded, single, solid sound; the true ‘o’ sound, as intended by nature. It’s similar to how the Buddhist “Om” is pronounced, but shorter.) Rod means: tribe, origin, ancestry, genealogical tree and/or one’s roots. The word Rodina (Motherland) comes from ‘rod.’ ‘Roditeli’ means ‘parents,’ ‘rodit’ means ‘to give birth.’ In Russian, Russia sounds like: Rossia (notice the same root?). The true origin of this word was concealed and forgotten, as the rest of human history. But proof is hidden in plain sight in our languages – if only we paid attention and knew where to look! This, of course, provided humans are interested in TRUTH, not fairytales.

Ukrainian Latinization – hurry, before it’s too late to create anti-Russia!

Excerpts from Galician Intellectuals Wishing to Deprive Ukrainian of the Cyrillic Alphabet:

“Throughout centuries, the main argument for replacement of the Cyrillic alphabet in the Slavic lands was that it would bring those lands closer to the Western European culture. How? Will writing Russian using Latin alphabet make an Englishman understand Russian or vice versa? No. Will it make easier for the Russians to learn English? Partially, but not significantly. Will it tear away the new generation of Russians from their historic roots by not allowing them to read their own literature. Yes. Here you have it.

For an example, look at Croatian and Serbian. These are one and the same language. Croatian is written in Latin, Serbian in Cyrillic. What did it achieve? A split of the one people into two and easier implementation of divide and conquer strategy.

Secondly, Cyrillic alphabet maps exactly the soundscape of the Slavic languages – one letter, one sound. Slavic languages, which got Latinised at various points in time – like Polish, Czech or Slovak – had to resort to dual, triple, and quadruple letters to depict a single sound. Example: letter “Ш” can be Latinised, transliterated, in various ways: “SH” or, as in Polish “SZ”. In some cases, additional “latin-like” letters need to be introduced. See for example Polish “ś”, “ł”, “ę”, “ą”; or the Czech “Ú”, “Ů”, “Č”. So Polish, with its essentially close-to-Russian pronunciation, ended up having more letters, than Cyrillic Russian. Interestingly, the same sound comprising the word “Czech”, would have been written in Cyrillic using only 3 letters: “Чех”.”

“The main argument coming from local intellectuals in favour of switching to the Latin alphabet is a question of civilizations. Ukrainian people, or, more precisely, the western Ukrainians – are from “time immemorial the people of Europe. In this they differ from the Russians and the Malorossians (Trans-dnepr Ukrainians – Ed.), who in essence are the Russian people“. And Latin alphabet will be best suited to emphasize the affiliation of Western Ukrainians to the family of Central European nations.

Sooner or later, such a transition from the Cyrillic to the Latin alphabet will happen, postulates Lvov intelligentsia. The idea of ”Latinization of Ukrainian language” appeared already in the 90s among the Galician intellectuals who actively advocated the independence of Galicia. By 2000, the norms for Latin spelling of the Ukrainian language had already been developed. Among the developers was the most famous artist and publicist Vlodko (Vladimir – Ed.) Kostirko. In the early 2000s, he was already publishing his articles on the Ukrainian language, written in Latin, in the editions of the Lvov cultural almanac “Ї”.

Kostirko have long switched to the Latin alphabet in his Ukrainian-language texts. In this way he hopes to emphasize the intransigence and even hostility between the two cultures – the “European” Western Ukrainian and “Russian” Central Ukrainian.

He even once created a painting “Uniate killing a Cossack”. In this painting a Polish “bewinged” hussar is spearing the head of a Zaporozhje Cossack (Translator note: names “Cossack”, “Khazar” and “Hussar” are of the same origin. See Lada Ray’s ESR6: NEW KHAZARIAN KHAGANATE? for more info). This is a reminder that there was a war in the 17th century between the Greek Catholic Galicians and the Orthodox Trans-Dneprians, the descendants of the Cossacks.”

“Let me remind that in March, a temporary special commission for preparation of a draft law “On the development and use of languages in Ukraine” considered a gradual phasing out of the use of the Cyrillic alphabet on the territory of Ukraine.

Already in 2007 I wrote about the attempts during President Yushchenko’s rule to push through the replacement of the Cyrillic alphabet with “abetsadlo” (translator note: From the Polish word for “alphabet”). Back then those attempts were doomed.”

How Crimea Was Transferred to Ukraine, Soviet Gold Standard and Khrushchev’s Folly

LADA’S FOREWORD

Dear readers,

Our friend Stanislav has generously shared his own, very thorough translation of a new Russian article concerning historic facts related to the 1954 illegal transfer of Crimea to the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic and some real Soviet documents of that era.

Both Stanislav and I are well familiar with the whole story, having grown up in those parts. We now live in different countries of the West, and because of that, we fully realize how confusing it may be for foreigners, especially for Westerners, to sift through all the propaganda and deliberate distortions you all are being fed when it comes to Russia, Ukraine, Crimea and Eurasia. I know how difficult it is for honest truth seekers to sift through an avalanche of lies and hoaxes. Some of these lies, sensationalist hoaxes and distortions are very sexy and tempting to believe in — if you don’t know the real truth.

I’ll tell you a secret about Stanislav and me. It wasn’t enough for us to grow up in Russia and then go on living in the West. We are two of a rare breed, who preserved our souls intact through all changes, trials and tribulations. We never got poisoned by bitterness, resentment or cynicism as we watched the USSR disintegrate, Russia plunge into the disaster of the 1990s, the once safe and pleasant streets we remembered as little children turn into war zones, and oligarchy take over. While living in the West, we also managed not to succumb to Western brainwashing, unlike some other emigrants. As we learned new things, discovered that the ‘king was really naked,’ found out the truth about global manipulations and hidden agendas, we grew wiser and savvier about the ways of the world. But we didn’t lose ourselves: we preserved our integrity, our spirit and mind intact; we kept our common sense, hope and optimism.

And it is for this reason, ladies and gentlemen, that you all will benefit tremendously from reading our blogs and watching videos we make or translate. We do it to help people. We don’t make money off any of this, except some small donations I get for my articles and Earth Shift Reports, which help to cover some of my expenses.

In the end of 2013 I began FuturisTrendcast in the name of helping people discover the real truth: all I wanted was to educate, illuminate the truth and show the way. It is for this same reason that Stanislav maintains his blog. Both Stanislav and I are here to help unearth those precious few kernels of truth that are being buried deep by those who seek to manipulate and keep you in the dark.

To my dismay, not only Western MSM, but even the Western-based ‘alternative media,’ is guilty of distortions, non-factual sensationalism and outright fantasies or lies. In the past week I received four emails from some of my most valued readers and supporters. They all wanted my opinion about publications on Putin and Russia. Articles in question were published in one large and popular alternative media publication, whose name I won’t say so not to give it additional promo. One article talked about ‘the six clones of Putin’ and another had something to do with not being sure whether ‘Russia was evil and to what degree.’

Perhaps because of this I keep to myself and my own work, collaborating only with those of whose knowledge, intentions and integrity I am sure. I replied that I do not read this publication and don’t recommend it to my readers — well, unless you want to live in a dark and hopeless fantasy world that is far from truth or reality.

On the other hand, if you want to co-create your reality, if you want your children (and if we are lucky, you too) to live in a better world — stick around FuturisTrendcast!

Please note that I’ve already addressed hoaxes, who creates them and why, and how alternative media is manipulated into spreading them (knowingly or unknowingly) in the following works:

In the midst of all the confusion it’s especially important and precious to be able to read honest translations of real historic documents. Many thanks to Stanislav for his work and generous sharing!

Those who follow FT know our friend Stanislav as Nemo, who often leaves very informative comments under my articles. He usually includes links to his own posts or to videos/articles elsewhere, which help understand what’s really going on around Russia, EU and Eurasia. Please do check out the comment section for his comments. Incidentally, Stanislav promises us other treats soon: ‘I am finishing translating a documentary film, and have an interesting translation of an article in the works… All in the name of education.’ I’ll either post links to his new translations, or re-post them on FT.

As to my own work, just by way of keeping you all posted:

I am finishing up the expanded version of EARTH SHIFT REPORT 2 reloaded: UKRAINE – TRUTH, LIES & FUTURE HOPE. It includes the original ESR2 Ukraine: True History, plus the best of my materials and classic predictions from 2014. I am adding a new, long article about the latest developments, plus a much expanded analysis and predictions about Ukraine’s prospects. My 2014 predictions are beginning to shape up now and I’ll explain how. I hope to finish it this weekend and release ESR2 reloaded no later than Monday.

I am also working on my new ESR8: BLACK SEA GAMBIT. I’m glad I’ve waited a bit. My newest intel and inside info is simply smashing! ESR8 will come out around February 22. Don’t miss!

I want to time these two reports to the second anniversary of the 2/22/2014 Kiev coup that unseated Yanukovich and plunged the country into war and devastation. ESR9: CRIMEAN AGENDA (The battle for Crimean has only begun!)  is to follow, and hopefully I can time it to the second anniversary of the Crimean Referendum that returned the peninsula to native shores.

Since these two seminal events took place in 2014, the Earth Shift has accelerated. Geopolitical situation in the Russian World, Middle East, EU and worldwide has changed so dramatically that looking back we may honestly say we now live in a different reality. But, as I’ve pointed out, the battle for Crimea, the battle for Eurasia and the battle for our world’s common future is only beginning! My reports will help you make sense of everything that is going on; they will reveal the truths that I GUARANTEE you would never know otherwise, since they are being hidden from you, or distorted!

More exciting news! I’ve been asked to do a couple of interviews with some very nice people. These should come out some time in March. Details soon!

In conclusion, and I hope Stanislav doesn’t mind my speaking on his behalf:

Our only goal is to help you see and understand the truth, as well as to right the historic wrongs. We don’t ask for much in return.

STANISLAV’S ARTICLE

Who and How Transferred Crimea into Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic in 1952-1954

See original article

Below is my translation of a very informative article by Mikhail Smirnov, published inSvobodnaja Mysl’ (Free Thought).

It is worth noting, that when the author points out the Russian roots in Crimea, he is most probably referring to the Scythians, who are just the same people as Rus, but going under a different name. See my summary of the documentary Yes, Scythians Are Us.

When reading the text below, note one historic peculiarity of USSR of that time. While 14 republics were almost always denoted by their national name – e.g Ukrainian SSR (Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic) – there was one exception. In USSR no one spoke of Russia, to the extent that the existence of Russia as a republic was largely forgotten. Instead the acronym RSFSR was always in use (decoded as Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic).

At the end of this post, after the main article, I present my translation of the closing speech by K.E Voroshilov from the stenography of the session of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR from the 19th of February 1954, which is an important historical evidence, setting the stage for the transfer and for the peninsular and the expectation connected to the act.

While it can be argued that it was not Khrushchev who made the decision on the transfer of Crimea, his rabid anti-Stalinism and voluntarism certainly became the propelling power behind this whole undertaking. It seems, there were no objective reasons for this decision.

In the history of the presence of Crimea within modern Ukraine, which began with the official transfer of the Crimean region of the RSFSR to the Ukrainian SSR in 1954 and is associated with the name N.S.Khrushchev, you can set apart the history of decision-making on behalf of Crimea, from hatching of the idea to the party-bureaucratic mechanism of its implementation.

At the time of its transfer into the Ukrainian SSR in 1954, Crimea had the status of the region within the RSFSR. From 1921 to 1945 it was a multi-national autonomy within the Russian Federation – the Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (KrASSR) with the official languages of Russian and Tatar, and in places of compact settlement – also German and Hebrew. After the well-known dramatic events during the War, the administrative status of Crimea was downgraded: Crimean Autonomy was eliminated by converting it into the Crimean region, officially – due to changes in the ethnic composition of the population of Crimea. Crimean Autonomy was restored in 1991 as part of the Ukrainian SSR, and in 1992 it was renamed into the Republic of Crimea.

In the public mind there is a long-established stereotype, which firmly connects the transfer of the Crimean region of the RSFSR into the Ukrainian SSR with the name of N.S. Khrushchev. By and large it is justified, but, after all, a few comments clarifying and enriching the picture of the event will be reasonably useful.

According to the memoirs of the contemporaries of the events, the idea of the transfer of Crimea to Ukraine began to ripen in Khrushchev’s mind ever since the time, when he in 1944-1947 headed the Council of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR, and at the same time was the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Ukrainian SSR. The year was 1944, the war was still going on. The boss off the USSR, I.V. Stalin, demanded that Khrushchev sent from the Ukrainian SSR to the neighbouring republic 100 thousand people – they were supposed to help with the rebuilding of the Russian Federation. But the position of Ukraine itself was not less, but even more severe, as during the Great Patriotic War almost the whole of its territory saw devastating military operations, and almost all of it has been exposed to enemy occupation. Nikita Khrushchev was furious. “Ukraine itself is destroyed, and more is taken from us” – he raged. (Head of the Soviet trade unions, Lavrentij Pogrebnoy, was a witness to Khrushchev’s indignation in 1944. A few years later, he told one of the Soviet writers about the events.)

Khrushchev could not directly oppose Stalin’s orders. So perhaps even then, or a little later, he hatched the idea that a decent compensation for this extra effort (and even, maybe for Starvation [translator’s note: Gologomor, for the real history surrounding it, I’d recommend reading the article The Real Truth About USSR: Golodomor and Collectivization in Ukraine]), could become a significant territorial gain of Ukraine within the USSR: of course, at the expense of the beneficiary of the “Ukrainian brotherly” assistance – the Russian Federation, which was to boot the most rich territory-wise. Even a cursory glance at the map of the Soviet Union was enough to see the most likely scenario for this: geographically isolated from the rest of the territory of the RSFSR, but located in the vicinity of the Ukrainian SSR and adjacent to it, is the Crimean peninsula. And being by nature a voluntarist, he vowed that he will get Crimea, whatever it takes.

But Khrushchev began the direct implementation of his idea later, in the first half of the 50s, or more precisely – starting from 1952, when the signs of limitations in functional capacity of Stalin became more and more obvious for the party leadership. (Stalin announced that he was going to retire at the October Central Committee plenum of 1952, which was held after the completion of the XIX Congress of the CPSU. But already starting from February 1951, three Politburo members (G.M. Malenkov, L.P. Beria, N.A. Bulganin) were given the right to sign various documents on behalf of Stalin, as, according to Molotov, due to the decrease in performance he did not sign many government documents for a prolonged period of time.) The real opportunity opened up only in connection with the death of Stalin. But it is possible that another significant cause for activation of Khrushchev on this subject at that time was also the activity of a supporter of Stalin’s policy in regard to the Crimea, which brought to the fore the ideas that went counter to Khrushchev’s.

According to unconfirmed records, in October 1952, the first secretary of the Crimean regional party (in 1949-1954) P.I. Titov, while being a delegate of the XIX Party Congress, addressed personally to Stalin with a written offer to rename the Crimean region into Tauridia. In his opinion, it would be entirely consistent with the history of the region, starting from the XVIII century. In particular, as one of the arguments, Titov appealed to the forgotten Soviet Republic of Tauridia. He believed that for the Crimean region of the RSFSR “it’s high time to restore its Russian, Rus name”.

Titov’s proposal was not priorly discussed in the Crimean Regional Party Committee and was not approved by them. But we know that the second person in the region – D.S. Polanski (in 1952-1954 the chairman of the executive committee of the Crimean Regional Council) – objected to this initiative. On the other hand he supported the transfer of Crimea to the Ukrainian SSR. Twenty years later, the nomenclature Party member G.V. Myasnikov, while at that time the second secretary of the Moscow city committee of the Komsomol remembered Polyansky thus: “I remember how he went up the hill. He met Khrushchev and Titov in the Crimea. An idea of the transfer of Crimea to Ukraine was brought up. Titov rejected the idea right away, while Polyansky said it was “brilliant”. The next day they gathered the plenum of the Crimean Regional Committee, Titov was driven out, while Poljansky became the first secretary of the regional committee.”

But it is more likely that this “cleansing out” of Titov took place more gradually, after the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of USSR, N.S. Khrushchev visited the Crimea in October 1953. Khrushchev’s son-in-law, Adjoubei Alex, who accompanied him on his trip around the country, recalled that when Khrushchev came to the Crimea at that time, he was shocked by how disastrous was the situation in the region and how great was the discontent by this among the local residents. At the same time, however, Khrushchev remained true to himself, and when he saw at the local airport some aircraft, he immediately ordered to fly it over to Kiev. And then, a few hours later, he already talked, over a supper, with the local party leaders about the transfer of Crimea and resettlement of Ukrainians into Crimea. Most likely, it was at this moment that an open dispute ensued between him and Titov. According to Titov’s deputy, L.G. Mezentsev, the head of the Crimea was called in to Moscow in mid-January of 1954 to inform him of preparation of a decision on the transfer of the region. He protested, for which on the 16th of January he was replaced with a Ukrainian Dmitry Polyansky. Thus, based on the totality of the memories of witnesses, it can be argued that P.I. Titov strongly objected to Khrushchev regarding the transfer of Crimea to Ukraine, and he had constant clashes with the Secretary of the Central Committee on this issue, which resulted in this imperious and prudent owner of the Crimean region being finally deposed to the rank of Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the RSFSR. In general, according to the researchers, Khrushchev initiated a rather limited number of people into his intentions with respect to Crimea. Among them – the first secretary (since June 1953) of the Communist Party of Ukraine A.I. Kirichenko, who, at the time, was also a candidate member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of CPSU and was in good standing with Khrushchev.

But Stalin, who was by that time ill, delayed an official response to Titov. According to the memoirs of some of Titov’s colleagues, in the spring of 1953 and later he, nevertheless, referred to a brief personal answer from Stalin, which was sent personally to him in late January 1953, saying that his proposal was “interesting and perhaps correct. This question can be discussed and resolved.” In the middle of November of 1953 Titov told about this opinion of Stalin to Khrushchev and Polyansky, when the principal decision on the transfer of Crimea to Ukraine had in fact already been made.

An indirect confirmation of the fact that Stalin was quite seriously considering Titov’s proposals, can be the process of renaming of the Crimean Tatar names into Russian ones, which began from the mid-1940s and which was initiated by Stalin himself after the deportation of the Tatar population from there. There are many sources describing this. For example, a comprehensive project on renaming in Crimea was dated with the 25th of September 1948, when the Crimean Regional Committee passed the decree “On renaming of settlements, streets, certain types of work, and other Tatar designations”. However, it was not planned to rename Crimea itself. But even before that, in the 1944-1946, 11 out of 26 Crimean regional centres were renamed (for example, the Ak-Mechetsky region into Chernomorskij, Larindorfsky into Pervomaisky) as well as 327 villages. In the period from 1948 to 1953, it was planned to rename some towns. The documents recorded in particular that Djankoi was going to become either Uzlovo, Severnyj or Verhnekrymsk, Saki turning into Ozernoje, and they wanted to call Bakhchisaray – “Pushkin”. Kerch was supposed to be given the name of “Korchev”, known from the old-Russian chronicles. In general, during 1947-1953 new – Russian – names were given to 1062 settlements and nearly 1300 natural object, mostly replacing Tatar ones. It is obvious that in the context of this process, also Titov’s proposal to change the name of the Crimea looked quite logical. However, the renaming slowed down when the turn of the cities came. And after Stalin’s death, the plan to rename the Crimean cities was abandoned altogether.

Thus, we can see that the project of the inclusion of Crimea into Ukraine was preceded by a project of strengthening of Russian presence in Crimea, and in 1952-1953, as a logical completion of the latter, there was also a project, which remained on the level of an idea, of re-renaming the Crimean region into Tauridian.

(An aside from the translator: Crimean Tatars are more likely Mongolians, the descendants of the Golden Horde of the Mongolian Khan Baty, who raided and occupied the peninsula in the 14th century. The name given to the peninsular by them was “Kyrim”, meaning “trench”. Before the Mongol occupation the peninsular had the Greek name of “Tauridia”. What the endemic population, Scythians, called their land back then is lost.)

As is known, the Russian presence in Crimea has been recorded since ancient chronicled times. Of particular interest to us – in the light of the events of the XX century that we discuss here – is “Tmutarakan” sub-plot of this presence. The original antique city of Panticapaeum, which in the era of the Khazarian Khaganate (translator note: For a well-researched foray into the history of Khazarian Kaganate, I would recommend reading Lada Ray’s Earth Shift Report 6: UKRAINE – NEW KHAZARIAN KHAGANATE?) of the VIII century got the name of Karsha or Charsha, which in Turkic means “market” or “bazaar”, is mentioned in the old-Russian historical records of the events of the X century under the Slavinised name of Krchev (Korchev) [Кърчевъ]. In the tenth century, Tmutarakan principality – part of the Ancient (Kievan) Rus – takes root on the Crimean and the Caucasian coasts of the Kerch Strait. Korchev was closely associated with the capital of the principality – Tmutarakan, while the Eastern geographers of that time called the Kerch Strait for the Russian River.

And so it was in Kerch that, after a long period of Ottoman history in Crimea, Russia once again establishes on the peninsula, several years before its full incorporation into the Russian Empire. In 1771 Russian troops took Kerch and neighbouring fortress Yeni-Kale. By the Kuchuk-Karnadzhiyskomu peace treaty between the Russian and Ottoman empires, which ended Russian-Turkish war of 1768-1774, this city with its fortress was the first of all the Crimea to become part of the Russian Empire, while, in accordance with that agreement, the Crimean Khanate as a whole then became independence from the Ottoman Empire, with the exception of the influence in the questions of religion. The manifesto of Catherine II was issued on the 8th of April 1783 and decreed the accession of Crimea, Taman and Kuban into the Russian Empire. By the decree of the 2nd of February 1784 Tauridian region (oblast) was established, covering some of the continental land. Later it was transformed into a province (county).

It is quite possible that the role of Kerch, and the Kerch Peninsula as a whole, in the Russian development on Crimea was the foundation for another P.I. Titov’s proposal in November 1953, which he already addressed to Polyansky and Khrushchev, and reiterated in January 1954. It pertained to the inclusion of this region (ie. Eastern Crimea) with the status of the “Kerch region” into the composition of RSFSR. Already then Titov had a well-founded belief that it was inadvisable for RSFSR “to vacate” Crimea, and, thanks to the newly formed region, the strategically important Kerch (Azov-Black Sea) Strait – “Russian River” – would still be a part of RSFSR. Titiov’s “Kerch” was outright rejected by Khrushchev followers, so much so, that the entire water area of the Kerch Strait in the subsequent transfer of the Crimea ended up being assigned to the Ukrainian SSR.

The question of what was the nature of the whole of Crimean autonomy – national or territorial – is also of crucial importance. Lenin’s Sovnarkom initially created both types of autonomies, but over time only the national ones were left. The Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, in this regard, had become a unique autonomous construct, which retained its territorial nature. According to the All-Union census of 1939, Russians comprised 49.6% of the Crimean population, Crimean Tatars – 19.4%, Ukrainians – 13.7%, Jews – 5.8%, Germans – 4.6%. But as the total population during the war declined sharply, and its ethnic composition underwent fundamental changes, Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic was transformed into the Crimean region (oblast) on the 30th of June 1945. Unlike most other autonomous regions, where there was the predominance of the indigenous population, the Crimean Autonomous Republic was not Tatar from the very beginning of its establishment. Moreover, 2/3 of the population of the Crimea at the time was Russian, and only one-third consisted of the peoples who had settled here before the Russians and made up the indigenous population of the peninsula. (Translator note: in the bird’s eye historic perspective, Russians are the indigenous population of the peninsula, who were driven from Crimea, but later returned.) At the same time, flirting with Kemalist Turkey, the Soviet leadership traditionally appointed mostly men of Tatar origin to the leading positions in the republic. This created a false impression that the Crimean autonomy was, like all the other, the national one – Crimean Tatar. But as it is known, in accordance with the provisions of the National Defence Commission of 11th of May and the 2nd of June 1944, of all Tatars of all ages (about 180 thousand people) were deported from Crimea to Kazakhstan. (Translator note: the exception was given to mixed-marriage families, where a Tatar woman was married to a Russian.)

All of the above sheds some light on the political context in which Khrushchev’s fateful for the history of the Crimea voluntarist decision was conceived and prepared. But it is equally important to take into account the details of the mechanism of this decision at the state level.

The fact is that N.S. Khrushchev became the first person in the USSR leadership only in 1955. While immediately after the death of Stalin (at the time of the death he held the post of the chairman of the USSR Council of Ministers), the head of government and a key figure in the leadership of the USSR was G.M. Malenkov. By the end of Stalin’s life, Malenkov was one of the main contenders for the post of supreme leader of the country, and immediately after his death, inherited the post of the chairman of the Council of Ministers. I.V. Stalin died on the 5th of March 1953, and at that time, in the beginning of the 1950s, this was the main post, while the position of the General Secretary of the CPSU was abolished, since, according to the late Stalinist concept of the governance structure, the Communist Party should no longer play a leading role in governing of the country.

M.S. Voslensky in his famous book “The Nomenclature” writes:

In the days after the death of Stalin in March 1953, it was customary to conclude speeches at the memorial meetings in the following typical ending: “Eternal glory to the Chairman of the USSR Council of Ministers, Secretary of the CPSU I.V. Stalin! Long live Chairman of the USSR Council of Ministers, Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee G.M. Malenkov!”

As it becomes clear from these titles, according to a new tradition established by Stalin, the post of the President of the Council of Ministers of USSR was the most important positions in contemporary system of power, and that it was inherited by Malenkov. And although the decision from March the 5th 1953 of the joint meeting of the Plenum of the Central Committee, the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet and the USSR Council of Ministers abolished the Bureau of the Presidium of the Central Committee of CPSU, and on the 14th of March 1953 the political opponents of Malenkov managed to deprive him of his post of a Secretary of the CPSU (ie, at the time, one of the many secretaries of the Central Committee), in 1953-55 he was still the Chairman of the USSR, and presiding over the meetings of the Presidium of the Central Committee of CPSU (as Politburo of the Central Committee of CPSU was called at the time). And thus, according to the then semi-official representations of the structure of power in the USSR, and, to an even greater extent, due to the political practice established under Stalin’s influence, he was the real leader of the country. It was during the period of his leadership of the country, that the transfer of the Crimean region into the Ukrainian SSR actually took place.

And if you take the viewpoint of those, who do not recognize that the decisions in the USSR were taken collectively, but absolutely want to assign personal responsibility for any decision to one of the “leaders”, then we must blame Malenkov, and not Khrushchev for the transfer of the Crimean region. By the beginning of 1954, when the Crimea was handed over, Khrushchev was not yet a sufficiently influential figure so as to define such major decisions. He was one of the secretaries of the Central Committee, responsible for the work of the entire Secretariat (on September the 7th 1953 he was elected 1st secretary of the Central Committee of the CPSU), he was a member of the Presidium of the Central Committee, and was a member of a group, warring with the group of Malenkov. The very same Voslensky in his book indicates that Malenkov tried his best to belittle the role of the Central Committee Secretariat, and it was under him that they began to speak of the secretariat as of a purely technical body. Therefore, it is logical to assume that any significant initiatives emanating from Khrushchev, would not get the support of Malenkov.

If, however, we are be absolutely exact, then from a purely formal point of view, the transfer of Crimea was initiated by a collective body – the Presidium of the CPSU Central Committee, which meetings at that time were chaired by Malenkov. This can be seen from documents published in “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” (Federal Edition #3409 of the 19th of February 2004):

From the protocol N 49 of the Central Committee of the CPSU Presidium meeting on the transfer of the Crimean region from the composition of the RSFSR into the composition of the Ukrainian SSR

Presided by: G.M. Malenkov

XL About transfer of the Crimean region from the composition of the RSFSR into the composition of the Ukrainian SSR
1. To approve as amended at the meeting, the attached draft of the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on the transfer of the Crimean region from the composition of the RSFSR into the composition of the Ukrainian SSR.
2. To deem it appropriate to hold a special session of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of USSR, at which to consider a joint submission to the Bureau of the Supreme Soviets of the RSFSR and the Ukrainian SSR on the transfer of the Crimean region from the composition of the RSFSR into the composition of the Ukrainian SSR.

Secretary of the CPSU Khrushchev
АЛРФ.Ф.З.Оп.10.Д.65Л1,4-б Подлинник (original)

However, having the real distribution of power in the USSR leadership elite in favour of the government agencies – as a testament from Stalin, outwardly the power system in the country continued working in a mode, familiar to the people, that is, in such a way, that the decisions of the Central Committee of the CPSU were governing in relation the decisions of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, which was only a “law publishing” body, which gave the appearance of democracy to decisions, which had actually been taken in the Central Committee. Thus, the Council of Ministers, headed by Malenkov, was sidelined on the decision of the Crimea. This decision was taken by the Presidium of the CPSU Central Committee, a meeting presided by Malenkov.

Again, from a purely formal point of view, N.S. Khruschev’s responsibility for this decision consisted only in the fact that he, like everyone else, voted “for” and in addition to this, as the 1st Secretary of the Central Committee heading the work of the Secretariat of the Central Committee, put his signature, just formally certifying the protocol. In the same way as in the Brezhnev period Giorgadze put his signature after Brezhnev’s signature. But analysis of the alignment of the centres of power in the power system of that time shows that the decision of the Presidium chaired by the economic planner Malenkov could be a bargaining chip (albeit a pretty small one) in the nomenclature and political struggle of his supporters with the group of Khrushchev – the highest at that time party functionary. In any case, with that set up, Malenkov was a guarantor that, as a result of this decision, there would be no major changes in the Crimea’s situation and, above all, in the nature of economic relations of the Crimean region within the control system of the USSR.

From the extract from the protocol N49, cited above, it is clear at the same meeting the draft of the Decree of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on the transfer of Crimea was approved, which after a multi-stage procedure, would in the end be “rubber-stamped” by the Supreme Council. The Supreme Soviet of the USSR rubber-stamped the decree draft at its meeting of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of February the 19th 1954. Here is the text of the decree:

The stenography of meeting can be consulted here. (Translator note: I will translate the closing speech of Voroshilov, which gives additional context to the political and cultural background, as well as assumed conditions, of the transfer.)

DECREE
Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR
On the transfer of the Crimean region from the composition of the RSFSR into the composition the Ukrainian SSR

“Given the commonality of the economy, the proximity and close economic and cultural ties between the Crimean region and the Ukrainian SSR, the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics RESOLVES:

Approve the joint submission of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR and the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Ukrainian SSR on the transfer of the Crimean region from the composition of Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic into the composition of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic.”

Chairman of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR K.VOROSHILOV
Secretary of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR N.PEGOV
Moscow, The Kremlin, February 19, 1954.

And already on the 26th of April 1954 the Supreme Soviet of the USSR by the Law “On the transfer of the Crimean region from the composition of RSFSR in the composition of the Ukrainian SSR” approved the decree of its Presidium and made the appropriate changes to Articles 22 and 23 of the Constitution of the USSR.

Incidentally, we must note that the issue of transfer of the Crimea went in the agenda of the meeting of the Presidium of the CC CPSU as item XI or XL (it is not very clear from the publication of the document). In any case, this issue was not perceived as being particularly important. It is possible that this attitude has led to a certain constitutional legislative negligence in the design of the entire transfer procedure. The fact is, under Article 18 of the Constitution of USSR, which was in effect by 1954, the territory of a republic could not be altered without its consent. Such consent was given by both Republics in the form of a Ruling of the Presidium of the Supreme Councils of the two Republics. However, Article 33 of the Constitution of the RSFSR, which contained a list of the authorities given to the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet, there is no authority to change the boundaries of the RSFSR. Not to mention the fact that out of the 27 members of the meeting of the 5th of February 1954, during which the issue was addressed, only 15 were present.

Further considering the nature of the relationship of the then leadership of the USSR to the “Crimean issue”, one should also note the following. For example, in the relevant documents of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet it was claimed both wisely and pompously, “that the transfer of Crimea to the Ukrainian SSR, taking into account the commonality of their economies, the proximity and close economic and cultural ties, is fully appropriate and is a testament to the boundless trust of the Russian people in the Ukrainian people…” This is how the “Ukrainians” at the helm thought back then. At the same time, the event itself passed completely unnoticed. It was not widely presented by the official propaganda to the Soviet and foreign public as another triumph of the party reason and higher justice. Probably for this reason, the Western press said nothing about this. While in the Soviet publications one can only find a couple of paragraphs about the symbolic meaning of this act in the context of the 300th anniversary of the “reunification” of Ukraine and Russia. However, the celebrations that took place in late May 1954 were generally devoted only to the anniversary. And even in the festive speech of Khrushchev, not a word was said about the Crimea. The absence of any indication to the transfer of Crimea in the Soviet sources of the time leads to some extent to a probable assumption, that the leaders of the Soviet Union intended to create in the perception of the peoples of the Soviet Union the idea, that the presence of the Crimea as part of Ukraine was a self-evident fact, and the decision to transfer the peninsula was represented as something long-overdue and almost as correction of a certain historical misunderstanding. But it is also quite possible that there was a feeling of voluntary overeagerness, and that there was no complete confidence that the decision, taken completely privately and without extensive discussion between the peoples of the two largest of the Soviet republics, would not cause public rejection. (Translator’s note: It did, at the “kitchen talk” level, much of which I heard first-hand, while spending many a summer of my youth in Crimea.)

N.S. Khruschev made a considerable progress towards senior management position of the country only in 1955 as a result of the nomenclature struggle for the removal of Malenkov from power. In 1955, Malenkov was dismissed from the post of Chairman of the USSR, and on the 29th of June 1957 he was removed from the Presidium of the CC CPSU. It is not known when exactly he ceased to be “presiding” at the Presidium meeting, but most likely in the very same 1955.

Since that time, that is, from the time when N.S. Khruschev, as the 1st Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee and member of the Presidium of the Central Committee, began to gradually strengthen his position as the sole leader of the Communist Party, we can say that the party organs as a whole began to regain the lead in the country’s leadership. However, until 1958 the high status and independence of the state and economic apparatus inherited from the Stalinist era remained. Chairman of the USSR from 1955 to 1958 was N.A. Bulganin, who previously, just like Malenkov, was one of the Vice-Chairman of the USSR Council of Ministers of Stalin. It was only in 1958 that Bulganin was dismissed, and his position was also taken by N.S. Khruschev while still holding the post of the First Secretary of the CPSU Central Committee. The defeat of the group of Bulganin, Malenkov, Kaganovich, Molotov and Shepilov occurred in June 1957 when at first during the meeting of the Presidium (Politburo) of the Central Committee of the CPSU by a majority vote, it was decided to abolish the post of the 1st Secretary of the CPSU and to appoint Khrushchev Minister of Agriculture, and then during an urgently convened plenum of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, as a result of the dramatically unfolding events and with Zhukov’s help, Khrushchev managed to turn the situation to his advantage, and called Bulganin/Malenkov’s group for “anti-party”. Only after 1958 can N.S. Khurshev be held solely responsible for the supreme power decisions in the country. The Crimean region was transferred to Ukraine at the beginning of 1954, while the opinion about the deciding role that Khrushchev played in it, was formed only later with the help of the official propaganda.

Soviet newspapers, like mirrors, reflected the change in the ratio of different branches of power in the USSR. The newspaper “Pravda” of the 21st of December 1955 in its report on the national meeting of the top performers of agriculture in Tashkent, said: “spacious auditorium of the theatre named after Alisher Navoi was filled to capacity. 11 am. Loud and prolonged applause greeted the appearance at the meeting the Chairman of the presidium of the USSR Council of Ministers N. Bulganin and First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, N.S. Khrushchev. Places on the podium are occupied by the first secretary of Central Committee of the Communist Party: Uzbekistan – A.I. Niyazov, Kazakhstan – LI Brezhnev, Tajikistan – BG Gafurov, Chairman of the Council of Ministers: Uzbek SSR – N.A. Mukhitdinov, Tajik SSR – T. Uldzhabaev, Turkmen SSR – B. Ovezov, Kirghiz SSR – A. Suerkulov, Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Uzbek SSR Sh.R. Rashidov.” Here, the Chairman of the USSR Council is still mentioned in the first place, while the first secretary of the Communist Party – in the second, as a figure of lesser importance.

But already in 1960, at the height of Khrushchev’s personality cult, there is a dominating and familiar us from the days of Stagnation formula, where the Central Committee of the Communist Party is mentioned in the first place: “The workers of agriculture of the Penza region report to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and the Soviet Government and personally to Comrade N.S. Khrushchev that, realizing the historical decision of the XXI Congress of the CPSU, collective and state farms, overcoming the difficulties created in the current year due to adverse weather conditions, have grown a good harvest, and completed the plan to sell grain to the state ahead of schedule – on August the 9th – using 20 working days.” (“Pravda” of the 12th of August 1960).

There are some important considerations at the end of this brief historical sketch of this dramatic episode in the history of Russia. In that harsh time P.I. Titov became the forerunner of the modern Communist Party of the Russian Federation in that part of its activity, which is directed today to protect the all-Russian interests. It is a pity that his name have not become a symbol of the 23-year-long modern struggle for liberation of the Russian-speaking people of the Crimea against the Ukrinising occupants. In light of the events of the modern Russian history, that person is worthy of his memory being perpetuated at least by a commemorative plaque in Simferopol, and at least a mention of him in the future textbooks of the history of the Fatherland as a Russian citizen, who was not afraid to go against the voluntarist projects of omnipotent Russian Ukrainophile Khrushchev. The country and the people need to know their heroes, and not only the negative ones.

Below is a translation of the closing speech by K.E Voroshilov from the stenography of the session of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR from the 19th of February 1954. As the commentary note at the top of that site says, “The Communist regime held no referendum or any opinion poll among the Crimeans regarding their transfer into the Ukrainian SSR”. All highlighting in the translation is mine.

Comrades, the decision of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on the joint proposal of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet and the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Ukrainian SSR regarding the transfer of the Crimean region from the composition of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic into the composition of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic is a testament to further strengthening of the unity and indestructible friendship of the Russian and Ukrainian peoples within the great powerful fraternal family of the peoples of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. This significant act of great national importance once again confirms that the relationship between sovereign allied socialist republics in the USSR is based on genuine equality and a real understanding and respect for mutual interests, aimed at the prosperity of all of the Union republics.

In history, there is no – and can not be – other such relation between States. In the past, especially under capitalism, at the very root of relations between states there was an aspiration for territorial conquest, the pursuit of strong states profiteering at the expense of territories of weaker countries. Only within the conditions, created by the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics may there be such a fair resolution of all issues between Union Republics, decisions based on economic feasibility and sensibility, full of mutual friendship and fraternal co-operation of their peoples. The transfer of the Crimean region of the RSFSR into the Ukrainian SSR is in the interest of the Russian and Ukrainian peoples, and meets the national interests of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

The Crimean region, due to its historical development, due to its territorial and economic status, is important for the whole of the Soviet state. And in the distant and recent past enemies have repeatedly tried to take away the Crimean peninsula from Russia, use it to plunder and ruin Russian and Ukrainian lands, establish a base there for attacks on Russia and Ukraine. However the Russian and Ukrainian peoples had more than once, in their common struggle, severely beaten the arrogant invaders and thrown them out of the borders of Ukraine and Crimea. Ukraine and Crimea are closely linked by common economic interests – this has already been eloquently stated both by the presenters and by comrade speakers. Cultural relations between Crimea and Ukraine in particular have increased and deepened. The transfer of the Crimean region into the Ukrainian SSR will undoubtedly further strengthen the traditional ties.

Comrades, this friendly act takes place in the days when the Soviet people solemnly celebrate the remarkable historical date of the 300th anniversary of the reunification of Russia and Ukraine. This is a great traditional celebration not only of the Ukrainian people, but also for all the peoples of the USSR. Friendship of peoples – one of the foundations of our great multinational Soviet state, the source of its invincible might, of its prosperity and power. We know and rejoice that the Russian, Ukrainian and other peoples of our vast country, will also in the future continue to develop and strengthen their brotherly friendship. Let our great Motherland – the fraternal Union of Soviet Socialist Republics – develop and grow stronger!

Lada’s Post Scriptum

Soviet Gold Standard , Khrushchev’s folly and how Stalin’s death kicked off the process of weakening of the USSR

While the responsibility for the transfer of Crimea lies upon a number of people, it is Khrushchev who is remembered by history as the one responsible. The logic of the transfer on the surface was to re-confirm the close union of the two branches of one culture, one nation and one Russian World: Russians and Ukrainians. What after the formation of the USSR in 1922 came to be referred to as ‘Ukrainians’ was in fact a composite of Zaporozhie Cossacks (such as my mother’s family), Malorossians (central Ukraine, incl. Kiev), Novorossians (now eastern Ukraine, including Donbass, Dnepropetrovsk and Kharkov, aka, Slobozhanshchina), South Russians (Black Sea coast, including Odessa, Nikolaev, Kherson), and later (western Ukraine’s) Rusins.

In the defense of those who made that decision it can be said that the transfer was made in the context of Ukraine being a forever integral part of the USSR, and an inseparable part of Russia. It never occurred to any of these men that in the year 1991 the USSR could simply fall apart.

However, the responsibility still lies with those who failed to take into account the future risks.

In the huge power vacuum that came to be after Stalin’s death, the power struggle between two factions began. Malenkov, who seems to be made responsible by the author of the article, was a clown — a transitional figure. No one really took him seriously and he didn’t wield real power. This was obviously before my time, but I recall my parents’ stories, who were in the know regarding the Soviet political spectrum. The transitional figure of Malenkov was necessary while the real power struggle took place behind the scenes. He was sidelined as soon as Ukrainian (Khrushchev’s) camp was able to get the upper hand over the Georgian (Beria’s) camp.

Beria/Georgian/Velikorussian (aka, ‘the Great Russian’) camp was against such transfer and in favor of Crimea being fortified as a part of Russia, as proposed by Titov in the article. Therefore, only the opposite Ukrainian camp could have pushed through the transfer. Consequently, Khrushchev’s role in the Crimean and other events of the early 1950s cannot be underestimated. It is, in fact, exactly as history remembers it!

To the possible reasons for Khrushchev’s behavior mentioned in the article, I want to add that he was rabidly anti-Stalin for more reasons than described. As the author says, he disliked the idea of having to lend Ukrainian workers for the war reconstruction efforts, and held a grudge regarding golodomor (which, per some evidence, he contributed to, never admitting his responsibility).

Yet, there were some infinitely more personal reasons for his resentment.

I am not inclined to bash Khrushchev to the degree as to completely discredit him. I think there were times he acted correctly, and if he lacked in real intelligence and foresight, he seemed to have enough peasant street smarts to get on top. That said, he appears to have been a man of jealousy and capable of holding a grudge for a long time. He also appears to have been a man whose personal demons often took the best of him, and who could sacrifice the interests of his country for his own whim. All the above are absolutely terrible qualities for a leader of a superpower. This is why Khrushchev failed to survive in his post for long (see video link below for more on that).

The story I was told is this: Khrushchev’s son had been arrested repeatedly for drunk driving and other public violations, but he was able to bury most of the criminal charges. But then, his son killed someone in a drunk driving incident, namely a war hero who just survived the brutal WWII. The indignation was wide-spread, the young man faced a long sentence and Khrushchev was unable to bury the case. He came to Stalin asking him for his son’s pardon. Stalin refused, saying he had to pay for his crime.

That incident set in motion a fatal chain of events. It set the stage for the angry and bitter Khrushchev’s later participation in the elimination of Stalin and creation of the world-wide anti-Stalin campaign, which in turn cost USSR valuable allies, such as Albania, with its Mediterranean ports, as well as China. (The best source for some good info related to Stalin, his actions, his death and Khrushchev’s role, in my view, is Nikolai Starikov and his book ‘Stalin.’)

In his urge to undo everything that reminded him of Stalin, Khrushchev also eliminated the one thing that kept USSR fully independent of the Western financial system: Soviet gold standard – the alternative system that made USSR impenetrable to financial manipulation. It was for this reason that when the inflation hit the West, in the USSR prices continued going down, while the country was actually experiencing tremendous post-war boom!

Khrushchev agreed to trade internationally in dollars, which destroyed the carefully built system and eventually weakened the USSR’s global bargaining positions, leading to future loss of reputation, clout and eventual disintegration. That act by Khrushchev, together with the Central Committee of the Communist Party, continued later by Brezhnev (perhaps because he was ill-advised, or because it was simply too late to turn back), set the stage for the relentless takeover of the world by the dollar, and later, petrodollar. When the USSR simply surrendered its positions, there was no financial alternative or counterweight left. The result is the grave global imbalance we are observing today.

Why Russians celebrate the New Year, and not Christmas, with New Year’s Tree? The Origin of ‘Calendar’ and Christmas/New Year’s Forbidden History

ny-moscow-red-square

Why Russians celebrate the New Year, and not Christmas, with New Year’s Tree?

That’s because the tradition of celebrating the end of one year and the beginning of the next with a decorated and lit up green tree, symbolizing the new growth and new prosperity is a pagan tradition that by far predates Christianity. Much later it was adopted by Christianity to coincide with the designated birth of Christ – Dec. 25. In fact the Western Christmas continues symbolizing death and rebirth. The year’s shortest day is around this time of year, during Dec 22 Winter Equinox. After this the day again begins getting longer, thus denoting rebirth of the new year and new hope. The tradition itself predates any cultures and any religion known today – it was born in the days when humans were still united.

The proper Russian Orthodox Christian Christmas (Rus: Рождество, OR full name: Рождество Христово Rozhdestvo Khristovo) is celebrated one week after New Year’s, on January 6-7. The tradition for that holiday is to eat ‘sviata vecherya, ‘ aka, the Sacred Supper (Holy Supper) thus repeating with your friends and family the last supper of Jesus. This is often hosted by local churches, or is eaten at home. After that, the Vsenoshchnaya (Rus: Bсенощная) – All Night Vigil – in the church lasts through the night. Krestniy Hod is usually at midnight, during which everyone together walks around the church, the block, and/or an area of a city with candles, icons and church banners, while singing Russian church songs. This tradition goes very deep in history, back to the ancient Vedic/pagan times as well. It is a combined blessing and space clearing of one’s land, ushering in the light and positive affirmation for all present.

Krestniy Hod is also performed for the Russian Easter (Rus: Paskha). I’ve gone to a couple of these in Manhattan in the ’90s, and it was pretty cool. Police had stopped the traffic in the part of the upper East Side around the 92-93 Street, to allow the Krestniy Hod through.

And of course, the traditional Russian ice water bathing – Rus: Rozhdestvenskie Kupania! Should never forget about that! Extremely cold, but you really do feel like you’ve been reborn – if you can stomach it! I have a pic of the Russian ice water bathing in my classic post: How Russians Celebrate New Year: Happy NY 2014 and Happy 100,000 Visits to Lada Ray Blog!

There is also what is called ‘the Old New Year,’ still celebrated by many two weeks after traditional New Year, on Jan. 14-15 of the contemporary calendar. Why is that? What is now called the ‘Old New Year’ was the actual New Year’s in pre-1917 Revolution Russia.

ny-red-square

The Origin of ‘Calendar’

& Christmas/New Year’s FORBIDDEN HISTORY!

What is now called the ‘Old New Year’ was the actual New Year’s date according to the old Julian Calendar, where leap year wasn’t taken into account. Lenin changed that in 1918 to coincide with the new Western calendar (Gregorian Calendar). Initially, the original Russian Vedic Calendar was thrown out and substituted for the Western one by Peter the Great, counting years from the birth of Christ.

However, in doing so, much of history was distorted and silenced. Now, the truth is being re-discovered. In reality, the true ancient Russian calendar (actually, the calendar shared by all Slavic cultures) was over 7,500 years old. More precisely, today would be the Year 7523, and the year 2016 would be the Year 7524 ‘Ot Sotvorenia Mira’ (Eng translation: from “the Creation of Peace” – which is most of the time incorrectly interpreted to mean from “the Creation of the World, ‘world’ and ‘peace’ sounding very similar).

In reality, that still wasn’t the beginning of the Rus/Slavic culture. Rather, in that calendar Year One was counted from the Peace Treaty with the Dragon. Some interpret it to mean China, but I have a different, much more esoteric theory – one day I’ll share it.

Next, to fit into the new shortened calendar, the history of Russia and other Slavic lands was deliberately shortened and falsified to make it seem less significant and subordinate to other cultures. In reality, the truth appears to be this: over 1000 years ago at least all of Europe, and probably a large part of all of Eurasia, lived by the same old Slavic calendar. The exact date is hard to pinpoint, but roughly we can assume that the year 1000 was some sort of major threshold, another one being 2000 years ago.

The reason the new Western calendar became prevalent has to do with the previous tectonic Earth Shift of this human civilization towards the West: individual, yang, aggressive, assertive, outgoing. In more mundane terms it manifested in the power struggle between various individualistic national identities and separatist overlords’ interests. In religious terms, it was the power struggle between the Vedic/pagan system and the new organized religions. At the same time it was the fight between younger Catholic Vatican and older Orthodox Byzantium, as well as between Christianity and Islam, in which the Vatican and Catholicism won. No surprise there: the Vatican represented the West, which was beginning to gain dominance at the time.

The word Calendar itself is an ancient Rus/Slavic word, not Latin, as many think.

It comes from: Colo-dar – orig. spelling: Kolo-dar. Kolo means ‘circle’ and ‘sun.’ Dar is ancient Rus (used as is to this day) for ‘gift’ and ‘blessing.’ Therefore: Kolo-dar (colo-dar) means the gift of the sun. Alternatively: gift of the circle of the year. This in turn means: the gift, or blessing, of the ever revolving circle of seasons and karma.

How Latin language came to be and where it really came from is a whole different and fascinating mystery altogether. But that’s another story, which I might tell one day.

For now, let’s see how Kolo-dar became Calen-dar. Anyone who studied Latin knows that in it ‘K’ becomes ‘C.’ For example: Kelt becomes Celt. So, the original Kolo became Colo and later was distorted to Cale. Calen = of Cale – this added ‘n’ is also of Rus origin, signifying ‘part of’ or ‘from.’ For example: contemporary Russian word: Kalendar-n-y = part of the calendar, from the calendar.

The contemporary word that shows the evolution of kolo-colo-cale is: ‘calle’ – the word for ‘street’ in Spanish (very similarly sounding words exist in other Romanic languages). A street in the old days, before pavement, was made by constant movement of carriages along a dirt path. Carriages used wheels, or kolo = colo, modified in time to cale. It later became calle.

P.S. In contemporary Russian the word for ‘wheel’ is ‘koleso’: kole-so. The word for a track made by a wheel of a car or carriage is: ‘kole-ya.’ Both, because of the traditional Russian ‘a’ transference in cases of written ‘o,’ are pronounced as ‘kaleso’ and ‘kaleya.’ This is in direct correspondence with cale-calle.

Incidentally, the word ‘alley’ once upon a time made a full turnaround and re-entered – was re-borrowed by – a number of languages from French. In Russian it sounds like ‘alleya.’ But you will easily recognize it as originally descending from the same primary word: kolo – koleya (a track made by a wheel).

This is just a small sampler – several books could be easily filled with such examples. More to come!

Pope Francis and World Religions – Karma and Consciousness

‘The above comments just show how confused people are about the catholic religion in general. The celebration of mass is a satanic ritual that celebrates the eating of the body of Christ and drinking of his blood!! The current pope is a Jesuit and they cannot be trusted fullstop. The Roman Catholic Church is full of criminals that raped and abused children without any legal charge for centuries…clergy are literally protected by the state in many countries. Any child who went to a catholic school can attest to the cruelty of the nuns and brothers that taught them a pack of lies and rubbish. The incredible catholic institutions that abused vulnerable children everywhere and the truth of which is only now emerging and again has been kept secret by governments. The whole institution is evil and disempowering of the individual. Now is the time to take back our power and undo the mind control imposed on little children that has stayed with most people for life unless they wake up and start using their brains. I escaped.. I woke up! Religion is the cause of wars literally and it is about time all just understood that we are each parts of the whole and that every little action affects the whole of humanity. Our illusion is a holographic matrix…one of many matrices. President Putin has shown great intelligence in the way he has handled many serious matters recently and I doubt that he will be fooled by a Jesuit pope as he will realise that much of what has persecuted Russia in the past was caused by the Catholic Chuch perpetrated by its Jesuits.’

Lada says:

One of my tweeps tweeted me this pic:

Putin and Pope cartoon

This reminds me of the opening scene of my mystical thriller THE EARTH SHIFTER. In it, the Pope drops to his knees in front of a simple Franciscan monk, who happens to be one of the nine Earth Keepers, asking for a blessing as the end of the world nears. Such act by the Holy See completely baffles a Swiss guard, who listens in on the conversation, missing its point entirely. Read this excerpt here, or go to EXCERPTS on top bar for full list.

The important thing to remember is that everything in our 3D world, as in any dimension, is subject to a PERSPECTIVE. The 9D, 10D and 11D beings still have their own perspective. This means that, depending on your point of view, you will see the same events differently from someone who has a different perspective.

Let’s just say, much of the language of global diplomacy and international relations isn’t on the surface. The meeting of the Pope and Putin of which I wrote in Putin’s New Ally: Pope Francis was one such meeting, when many could observe, yet miss its true meaning. Let’s talk about it.

Undeniably, the history of the Catholic Church has many dark pages, and there are plenty of dark pages in the Vatican’s present day reality, as well. When it comes to topics I often address, such as aggressive power grab, looting, rewriting/falsifying history, I could tell you lots of stories. The abuse of children is another such story.

That said, there are many people in the world who genuinely, from their heart, find solace and peace in believing. I think we should respect the feelings of those Catholics whose hearts and minds are pure. Christian mysticism, along with Hebrew (Kabbala) and Muslim (Sufi) mysticism, are manifestations of true religious wisdom, which rises above mundane and above the confines of any religious dogma.

I personally enjoy such wisdom, as well as religious art, architecture and music. All these are high manifestations of religions. Mother Theresa was also a devout Catholic. As anything our 3D human world produces, religions represent the entire spectrum of manifestations: from the highest in spirit to the lowest of the low.

It is a different story that those HUMANS who hold POWER in any religion may misuse this power to suppress truth and successfully cover up their evil HUMAN deeds. The fact that all the abuses of the Catholic Church are coming out now speaks volumes. We are entering the era of truth, discovery and transparency, when old power structures created by MAN for the benefit of the few will fall away, and new, more equitable global structures will be created. This will force – it already does – everyone, including Catholic Church, to abide by new rules and to respect a small person.

~~~~~~
It probably helps that I grew up in the Soviet society and in a non-religious family. This provided me with the world of freedom and safeguarded me from any childhood brainwashing. We were free to think, instead of following a dogma, be it religious or any other. The depiction of the Soviet society is completely and maliciously distorted in the West. One of the many legacies of the Soviet Union was, and still is, the most educated and the most thinking people on the planet.
As such, when we all grew up, we could freely choose WHAT to believe in and what, or who, to follow – or not. My sister became a devout Russian Orthodox. But because no one ever made her go to church on Sunday, her devotion comes from her heart.
My cosmic soul is, shall we say, too cosmic for any Earth-bound religion. But I studied shamanism with a lot of pleasure, as it rings true to me (my book THE EARTH SHIFTER is in big part about a Siberian shaman). I also studied wicca and Earth-based religions. I delve deeply into Oriental traditions, and having become Feng Shui Master in Asia, I enjoy Tibetan Buddhism and its beautiful art, spiritual music, rituals and symbolism. My hubby, who has grown up in a non-religious Chinese household, has most affinity with Zen living. Presently, I am studying the ancient Russian Vedic wisdom, which includes the cosmic truth of our origins, forbidden history and linguistics, runas, and much more. Little by little, I will share this knowledge with all in various articles and Earth Shift Reports.
As always, God is within us, and it doesn’t matter if you go to church or not, or if you read the Bible or not. What matters is this: in the final analysis, it’s between you and God.’ Said another way: ‘it’s all between you and your higher self, or your higher conscience.’ In the final analysis we are all ONE.
The clarity of mind that lets one see the world in true light is a must in order to discern and weigh all sides of the issue. I am endlessly grateful to the USSR, the country where I grew up, for many things. One such thing is allowing me as a child to develop freely and grow unencumbered by religious dogma. Perhaps, there was a small amount of Communist brainwashing, as it were. However, it was very minor and incomparable to the damage a Sunday school may have inflicted on fragile children’s psyche. It didn’t affect me; moreover many of my contemporaries think of the old USSR with great nostalgia.
At the same time, I met a lot of people who were traumatized for life by their Sunday school experience, turning rebellious or turning to alternative religions as a desperate knee jerk reaction. I really do feel for them in my heart.
With this background, let me proceed to answering the questions in the comment above.
Much of what Noeline says are true facts and I do agree with her. No, Putin isn’t fooled by anything or anyone.
What has to be remembered is that history of all world’s organized religions is the history of power struggle. It was often a struggle between religions (and various sects inside each religion) for global religious, economic, and geopolitical dominance.
But it was also a very brutal struggle between newer organized religions and old pagan/Earth-based and Vedic lifestyle belief systems. The latter especially applies to Christianity, including both old branches: Catholicism and Orthodoxy. Catholicism brutally eliminated competition, witches and Celtic/Druid priests and priestesses, and Orthodoxy – their competition, Vedic followers. Untold damage was done to the Russian historic records as history was re-written over and over in order to delete mentions of real events and people, substituting them with lies. Same – and worse – was happening all over Europe, which fell under the dominion of Catholicism.
Throughout centuries, this power struggle was consistently violent and blood-thirsty. This applies to Catholicism more than to others, with Judaism and Islam very violent in their own way. If we look deep into history, we’ll find that Greek/Russian Orthodoxy was just as bad; however lately, Orthodoxy became a much more positive and non-destructive force.
If weighed on merit, arguably, Greek/Russian Orthodoxy, which is the older and original branch of Christianity, wasn’t as violent as Catholicism. For instance, there were no witch trials and burnings, although Vedic wise men and women did get prosecuted/eliminated, their ancient wisdom substituted for new religious dogma. Moreover, Vedic traditions and rituals still had a better recognition and co-existed more peacefully with Orthodoxy, while wicca (in part, a Western branch of Vedic wisdom) till recently was entirely denied in the West. Russian Orthodoxy isn’t so much into global dominance either, preferring peaceful cooperative and consultive methods of resolving problems. Overall today, Orthodoxy plays mostly a positive role in society.
Notice that I didn’t include Hinduism and Buddhism in the above list – two other major world religions. Out of these, Hinduism was somewhat repressive to its own people, but wasn’t aggressive or violent outwardly. Compared to the above list, Hinduism is a ‘sweetie.’
~~~~~~

A glimpse of forbidden history:

Incidentally, here is a little glimpse of the ancient Vedic wisdom. Many know that there is a Hindi goddess Sarasvati. But did you know that the word ‘sweetie’ and ‘Sarasvati’ have the same root? It’s the Russian word (I also call it Slavyano-Arian): ‘svet.’ Svet means light. The English word ‘sweet’ and Hindi ‘Sara-svat-i’ both originate from svet = light.

Moreover, the Russian word ‘sviatoy’ and its Spanish counterpart ‘santo’, Italian ‘santi’ and English ‘saint’ all come from svet = ‘light.’

By the way, the dreaded nazi word ‘swastika’ comes from the same word ‘svet.’ As some may know, Hitler stole the symbol and word from the Vedic tradition, reversing the energetic plus and minus polarities of its meaning. Originally, ‘svastika,’ aka, ‘kolovrat’ in Russian, signified Sun, and in some other representations, our galaxy.

Speaking of svet. While svet signifies ‘light,’ another meaning is ‘world.’ As in ‘the world full of light,’ that is. There is a well-known Russian expression: beliy svet, which translates literally as the ‘white world,’ although it really means ‘white light,’ aka, the good, enlightened world; world full of love and light.

Much more Vedic linguistic wisdom coming to you in the future Earth Shift Reports. Stay tuned!

~~~~~~
Of all world religions, Buddhism is by far the most peaceful, spiritual and positive. In fact, it’s the only organized world religion that NEVER had the acquisition of worldly power as its overriding goal.
As I said, this however was for centuries THE primary goal of the following religions (to various degrees and using different methods): Catholicism, Judaism and Islam.
At the same time, all organized religions also produced true mystics and people of svet = light. This should never be forgotten either! Therefore, it all ultimately boils down to people who are a part of that religion at any given time. It always goes back to individual humans, how they use their power and what their life’s mission is.
Today, religious leaders can often play a positive role, if they choose to. Or at least first do no harm, according to the medical Hippocratic oath.
The reason we cannot just blankly deny any organized religion, whether it’s Catholicism, Islam, Judaism, Orthodoxy, or any other, is very simple: there are billions of people on the planet who do believe and follow these religions. Simply saying to one billion Catholics: ‘well, you are following a satanic cult – get over it…’ I am afraid this won’t work. It’s much better to get in touch with the leader of that religion and tell him, ‘look we can work together on making the Earthly realm we live in, a better place.’ If this leader has conscience, then he can be a force for good to be reckoned with.
I think this is potentially possible with this Pope, who is Argentinian and a friend of the Argentine President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, who in turn is Putin’s personal friend. I can guarantee that Kirchner had a hand in Putin and the Pope hitting it off. Now, such dialogue was entirely impossible with the previous Pope (sorry, forget his name), who was there for 25 years and who was Polish. By a strange coincidence (not), he also happened to be rabidly russophobic.
As we see, Holy See or not, Vatican or not, it still boils down to individual people and their personal PERSPECTIVE.
Can the Vatican be reformed? Can it change to play a positive and cooperative role in society? Can the Vatican become a force for good? Can Putin change the Catholic world? And should this Pope be given a chance?
Yes, absolutely. That is, if you, me and everyone else on this planet, want to continue this Earthly 3D human experiment. I, for one, am here to help guide humanity towards the continuation of this experiment – with a much better outcome than what we may be facing today.
This means finding common ground with those who are willing to work together to create a more positive, cooperative world.
Religions, like humans, do grow up. Recall yourself when you were a toddler. Were you capricious, causing trouble for your parents? Unless you were angel incarnate like me and never caused any trouble. 😉 Then you were a 5-10-year-old and you wanted to be liked by your parents and obediently did everything they told you to do. Then you became a rebellious teen and caused much more trouble, denying everything your parents taught you. Then, you gradually grew up, becoming more responsible as you aged, acquiring more wisdom (hopefully).
Is our world a holographic matrix? Yes, it is. But as long as we have incarnated in this 3D reality, it is fully real for us. It’s like saying: I won’t study for this test – it’s not real, it’s only on paper. I am sorry, but for as long as you are in school and for as long as you want to graduate, you have to. Unless, you want to repeat the same year over and over. In earth-wide terms this is called karma. Until you’ve fully learned your lesson, you will be repeating this life over and over. Ouch!
You may ask whether there is a possibility of skipping grades and avoiding dealing with karma? Yes, there is. Some of us do skip grades. Only wisdom allows you to skip them. How that works is another topic. But karma is a self-regulating universal mechanism and it knows no exceptions.
Notice that my list of religions didn’t include any of the Vedic, pagan and/or ancient Earth-based belief systems. If we are discussing taking our individual power back, it could well be accomplished through the original Vedic system (vedat’ = ‘to know’ in Russian; ‘vedics’ means ‘wise people, people in tune with the ultimate truth;’ also, note the Hindi Vedas). People are awakening to that, albeit slowly. This, however, is a topic for an absolutely new, separate series, to which I will also get eventually.
Last point to wrap it up:
Noeline says: ‘The celebration of mass is a satanic ritual that celebrates the eating of the body of Christ and drinking of his blood.’
Actually, this ritual is a left-over pagan ritual, adopted by Christianity after it suppressed paganism. It symbolizes partaking of the energy of Christ, imbuing yourself with his spirit. Since Christ symbolizes love and selfless purity, it basically signifies a desire to be like him, hence ascend. However, in 3D, in other words, in our fully manifest PHYSICAL WORLD, humans often can’t simply think or be. they need to manifest everything into 3D; make it touchable, tangible. Evolved souls don’t need that, but most humans do. By the way, there is nothing wrong with that, as long as it doesn’t harm anyone.
In the ancient days in CERTAIN (not all) pagan traditions humans ate the body of a specific animal to imbue themselves with that animal’s power. Humans were also sacrificed to gods. These rituals, which sound awful today, in old days were what the full 3D incarnation demanded. Humans, shall we say, were too literal. They needed to touch, feel and eat everything to partake of the energy they wanted. To this day, in the Middle East they sacrifice animals and often treat humans with outright cruelty.
In subtler and more evolved ancient societies, such as the original Vedic world, humans had representations of various pagan gods and universal forces, such as certain foods, flowers, tree bark, crystals that they ate, rubbed into their skin, created tattoos, with which they decorated their bodies and homes.
In other words, eating of the body of Christ and drinking his blood is a modified pagan ritual to suit Christianity’s agenda. Since we lost connection with the logic of ancient rituals, it may seem bizarre from today’s perspective.
I won’t go into the meaning of the word ‘mass.’ But again, this word comes from the same Vedic Slavyano-Arian source, something forgotten by most humans.
I will briefly say that ‘satan’ comes from the same root I discussed above: ‘svet’ – light. It becomes ‘sat’ here, basically signifying ‘fullness.’ Fullness as in: Mother Earth is full, bountiful. It also has a relation to the sacred feminine connected to Mother Earth.
It was a Vedic word. Recall what I said, Vedics were the biggest enemy and competitor of Christianity. Moreover, the sacred feminine had to be suppressed by the patriarchal Christian society. Therefore, any good Vedic words became bad words in the Christian reality as humans needed to be brainwashed into submission. The same process is happening today in Ukraine and many Western countries, as history yet again gets re-written and energetic polarities get reversed from plus to minus.
However, this time it won’t work.
Happy Victory Day, Fr. Merkel! My Open Postcard to the German Chancellor
This article is part of my 70 YEARS OF THE GREAT VICTORY MARATHON
(You can see all posts under category: 70 Years of Great Victory)
Recently, leaders of US, UK, Poland, Lithuania, and most other EU countries announced that they would not be coming to the May 9th 70th Anniversary Victory Day Parade, grand preparations for which are underway in Moscow. Moreover, Polish president proposed that World War II victory celebrations should be moved from their traditional place on Red Square to Poland. All this is yet another attempt to re-write history and diminish the role and sacrifice of the Soviet Army and Soviet people in winning that terrible war. It is also an attempt to paint black as white and vice versa in order to justify fascism again raising its ugly head in Ukraine, Baltics and other European countries. It is also a part of the smear campaign against Russia as I had discussed in many of my prior writings.
There is nothing new as far as the US and UK leaders ignoring the Moscow celebrations. They always find excuses not to attend. Let’s recall that US, UK, Poland and France were Russia’s (USSR’s) allies in WWII. That’s officially. In reality…
Regardless of the US and UK, German Chancellor traditionally attends Victory Parade in Moscow to demonstrate contemporary Germany’s continued commitment to the fascism-free world.
This year, Angela Merkel infamously announced that she would not be coming to Moscow on May 9th, because… she didn’t want to offend the Kiev junta.
In response, Vadim Raskin, Russian neurologist from the city of Novokuznetsk in the Kemerovo oblast, started a flash mob, which turned into a global movement (See report by Russia24: С Днем Победы, фрау Меркель канцлера завалили поздравлениями).
On his Facebook page Dr. Raskin wrote in Russian – below is my summary English translation:
“Become a part of the flash mob. Since Angela Merkel has refused to come to Moscow for the Victory Day, let’s bring it to her doorstep. Send her a postcard, congratulating her with the Great Victory. Buy a postcard, or create your own, if you have a color printer. Congratulate her with our mutual Holiday, using only good words and warm wishes, and mail it to: Deutschland, Willy-Brandt-Straße 1, 10557 Berlin, Bundeskanzleramt, Fr. Angela Merkel.”
Next, a snowball effect occurred, proving that one small person indeed can change the world, or at least shift it ever so slightly in the right direction.
Vadim Raskin’s Facebook page quickly got 1500 replies from people who said they were on it. Some got creative and started mailing Merkel old Soviet Victory Day postcards; others created postcards of their own with pictures of relatives who perished in WWII; yet others sent photocopies of heart-wrenching war-time letters from Soviet army soldiers and concentration camp survivors, styled as postcards.
People wrote that Europeans, especially politicians, seem to have already forgotten what happened during the deadly war that devastated the world. It is time to remind them.
Before long, the movement spilled beyond the boundaries of the city of Novokuznetsk into all of Russia, and then, beyond Russia’s borders. Bulgarian anti-fascist movement wrote to Vadim Raskin, promising to send Merkel a postcard every day until May 9th. Within several days, flash mob was joined by over ten countries, including Italy, Serbia, Montenegro (Chernogoria), Israel, Canada and US. Germans had become some of the most active in this chorus.
Vadim Raskin says: “I don’t know how Angela Merkel will react to my postcard and if there will be a reaction. But the response worldwide is enormous. I didn’t expect that. Regardless of what else changes in the world, there are things that should never change. Good is good and evil is evil, under any circumstances.”
Meanwhile, the Kemerovo governor announced that he would be recommending the modest Dr. Raskin for the Russian state award, for using his voice for good. The governor also may send his own postcard to Frau Merkel.
Latest news: having been flooded by postcards from all over the world, Angela Merkel changed her mind and announced she would be attending the May 9th Red Square Victory Parade after all.
I thought I should join the chorus too, in case Frau Merkel forgets again.
My open postcard to German Chancellor Angela Merkel:
red square 1945 parade
red square 1945 parade 2
First Great Victory Parade, Red Square, Moscow, 1945
Dear Fr. Merkel,
Happy 70th Anniversary of the Great Victory of the Soviet Army over the German Nazis in the deadliest war humans have ever known. Here is my own family’s contribution to the Great Victory:
Maternal great-grandfather, Ukrainian: fought in WWII 1941-1943 as a colonel of the Soviet Army, killed in 1943.
Maternal grandfather, Ukrainian: enlisted as volunteer. Killed in 1945 in Berlin, shortly before the end of war by a German sniper, leaving my grandmother to raise her two small children by herself in the destroyed by war country.
My maternal grandmother and my mother, both Ukrainians, survived German Nazi occupation of Ukraine (Dnepropetrovsk region).
Paternal grandfather, Russian: wounded twice at Stalingrad, into his left arm and right leg. Because of that, after hospital, sent back home and survived the war. He had a large, highly visible dip on his disfigured forearm, where the bullet pierced his bone. His wounds would always flare up when the weather was stormy. Sometimes, he would moan at night, when his pain was especially unbearable.
I hope you like the famous Russian song Zhuravli (Cranes). It is about the Soviet soldiers who perished in World War II, defending the world against fascism. In case you didn’t know, 27 million Soviet citizens, many of them Russians, but also millions of Ukrainians, Belorussians, Jews, and members of all other 100+ nationalities that populated the USSR, died in that war. The song tells the story of how soldiers turn into white cranes, flying in the sky and calling to us, those who have survived them. (Zhuravli has its own Wikipedia page, and here is the English lyrics. I wanted to include German lyrics too. After a search, I found some other languages, but oddly enough, it seems to this day no one has managed to translate it to German.) Here is the YouTube link to this beautiful song for your enjoyment; I chose the original performance by Mark Bernes.
Wishing you all the best, Fr. Merkel. The weather should be getting better soon, I expect.
Sincerely,
Lada Ray
ESR 2 UKRAINE TRUE HISTORY 2
FREE Earth Shift Report 2: UKRAINE: TRUE HISTORY
(How the falsified history of Ukraine was developed and what lessons it teaches us)
Ukraine and Novorossia Elections
As a start, I will summarize some of the latest news and whispers from Ukraine.
The Rada elections in Kiev were largely predictable. Intercepted US State Dept emails from as early as 2006 called Poroshenko ‘our man in Kiev.’ Poroshenko, who has been now appointed president of Ukraine by his Washington handlers, expected a win in these Rada elections. However, his block finished a close second to Yatsenyuk’s – just over 20% each. The two rival parties cannot be distinguished even with a magnifying glass. Obviously, their Washington handlers want to keep both Poroshenko and Yatsenyuk’s egos in check by balancing them out against each other. The good old divide and conquer…
The relatively low showing of the openly nazi parties was due to two factors: the people are sick and tired of their violence and Ukraine has been told by their EU and US handlers to tone down that violence as much as possible because it makes their masters look bad. Still, the field commanders and nazi leaders, who can shoot and torture, but not think, will be in the Rada. Get ready for lots of loud bangs.
The surprise of the elections was the nearly 10% gained by what is considered pro-Russian Opposition Block, the remnant of the Party of the Regions and other forces squeezed and burned out of the country. The hastily organized Opposition Block is widely thought to be a project of the oligarch Levochkin. Therefore, this is still a fight between oligarchs for power. However, there are some semi-decent politicians in this block, who refuse to give up and intend to continue defending the rights of the Russian-speaking majority in Ukraine which are being brutally suppressed. These are nevertheless mostly business people with their own interests (or representing the interests of corresponding oligarch), so I wouldn’t be too hopeful about them. Ironically, the Opposition Block deputies are also the only ones who have any hope of keeping Ukraine together. Every time the population of Ukraine sees the rest of these ‘deputies’ fighting in the Rada, they will be reminded how pointless it is to try to reason with violent thugs, thus convincing the majority to secede.
Ukro-nazis already threatened the Opposition Block politicians not to show their faces in the Rada, or else. Considering these 10% are the only remaining politicians with some knowledge and experience of governing, without them Ukraine’s collapse would be expedited even further.
About 1/3 of the new Rada deputies are on oligarch Kolomoysky’s payroll. This one rules his vassals sitting in Dnepropetrovsk as his fiefdom, while attempting to create an alternative, oligarch-ruled version of Novorossia.
The official number for the country-wide election turnout is 52%, which observers feel is a falsification. Some observers and journalists were told to leave right before the voting ballots would be counted. When they returned, the see-through voting urns – almost empty before – would magically feel up with ballots.
Anna News reports: The simple people on the Ukraine territory are scared to talk for fear of SBU knocking on their door and dragging them off to jail, or for fear of being kidnapped and beaten by nazi thugs roaming cities and towns. Anna News interviews simple people from Ukraine about how they feel, how they live, etc. Many started refusing such interviews for fear of prosecution. From Kherson on the Black Sea the locals report that people were completely apathetic during elections and most decided not to vote, the turnout was extremely low.
Ukro-nazi justice: Several days ago people in many countries commemorated 6 months since the brutal burning of 42 people alive in Odessa. The city people feel extremely intimidated and scared after that event. Meanwhile, Kiev authorities celebrated the gruesome date by announcing a criminal case against Odessa police for letting go of the activists of the anti-maidan arrested after the ukro-nazis attacked them and burned to death their friends on Kulikovo Polie on May 2. Note, no attackers were arrested that day. No criminal investigation to determine and bring to justice the attackers was ever initiated. All these nazi thugs are still walking free, inflcting pain and thorough on others elsewhere in Ukraine. Meanwhile, those who were victims of the attack were arrested, but later let go after the large crowd of locals demanded their release. Now, Kiev is trying to prosecute those officers who let the victims go.
Officially Odessa had the lowest election turnout in Ukraine after Lugansk and Donetsk. Since we know Lugansk and Donetsk didn’t really vote, it’s safe to assume that Odessa’s real turnout was close to zero.
One brave granny from Odessa’s neighboring Nikolaev, who isn’t afraid of prosecution, said that at most 10% of the Nikolaev people voted in these Rada elections, out of these 75% voted for the Opposition Block. She says that the city has been infiltrated with violent western Ukraine nazis and bosses appointed by Kiev. However, there is a silent resistance that is waiting for the opportune moment to strike back. People are still disappearing. Unemployment is universal. There is no heat or hot water despite cold.
People from various areas of Ukraine report the same: waiting when the junta weakens sufficiently so they could take their power back. The longer this lasts (as I predicted) the more people get disgusted and ready to change the present regime.
There is more and more talk everywhere about changing the name of the new country to Novorossia. Novorossia means New Russia. The South and East don’t want anything to do with Ukraine any more – read more below to see where the name ‘Ukraine’ originated from. That will give you a good idea why people don’t want to keep it as a name for the country that will emerge out of the remnants of today’s incongruent conglomeration. The whispers about Novorossia include South, East, Kiev, all of central and northern Ukraine. The idea is to have a country without oligarchs that are presently strangling the failed Ukraine project. However, most agree that Western Ukraine, particularly Lvov and Galichina, where most ukro-nazis are from, is to be excluded from Novorossia.
Meanwhile in Donbass, the nucleus of the future Novorossia: The elections of November 2nd had a record turnout of over 70% on average. From the live streams and eye-witness footage of the DNR and LNR elections it’s clear that people were very passionate about voting. Despite cold and a threat of bombings, many stood in line for hours and hours to cast their vote. The see-through ballot urns were visibly full everywhere. The result again was predictable as the acting heads of both Donetsk and Lugansk governments received the majority of votes. Citizens interviewed while standing in lines to vote were saying how important these elections were for them and that they were voting to be with Russia. This info from Anna News.
The next steps are preparations for the winter and building the new administrative and government structures corresponding with the idea of the ‘people’s republics.’ Both DNR and LNR are now oligarch free. They are still working on redirecting inward their cash flow, taxes and income. These elections legitimize the heads of state, giving them a mandate to act more resolutely.
International observers present in Novorossia elections came from Hungary, Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, France, Italy, Germany, Abkhazia, Russia and USA. They unanimously announced that elections were transparent, well-organized and democratic. Kiev immediately announced that each observer is now persona non grata in Ukraine. The Greek observers retorted they weren’t interested in visiting Ukraine for as long as it’s fascist. All those who participated/voted in the elections have been labeled terrorists by Kiev (that’s one and a half million terrorists).
The fifth Russian humanitarian convoy consisting of 100 trucks arrived to Donetsk and Lugansk. The West and Kiev immediately called it yet another Russian invasion and labeled diapers, flour, canned baby food and reconstruction materials the military cargo.
Rosenergo sent specialists to repair the badly damaged power lines. Both cities have restored 50% of their power with the help of the Russian specialists. Power also means heat. Since Donbass is sitting on all the coal in the world, at least they definitely won’t freeze in the winter, unlike Ukraine. DNR and LNR announced that they would be willing to sell their coal to Ukraine, should Kiev ask. However, Ukraine is proudly keeping silence preferring to freeze to death.
The Rabid Russophobia in Ukraine
When we talk about the situation in Ukraine today, it’s hard not to notice the exceptionally rabid Russophobia that permeates every pore of Ukraine’s existence. I grew up in Odessa, which still is a part of the artificial state of Ukraine. I went to school with kids from extremely diverse backgrounds. I studied Ukrainian since second grade. My mother was Ukrainian. I traveled all over Ukraine, all over the former USSR and all over the world. I am someone who has repeatedly accurately predicted major global events and developments… I have never seen anything like this, and could never imagine something like this happening in Ukraine.
When I say I’ve never seen anything like this I mean the turnaround that Ukraine has experienced since 1990, when I said goodbye to those parts forever. Sure, in certain parts of the world, for example in the Middle East, the West is ardently hated. But such hatred is based on centuries of Western aggression. It was no different in the 20th or 12th century (recall the Crusades). Yes, there is a pathological hatred of Russia in the West (excluding the sane parts of Western society). But the story hasn’t changed whether you look at the 20th, 19th, 18th, 17th, or earlier centuries.
What is artificially called Ukraine, and what was called historically Malorossia and Novorossia, before that Kievskaya Rus and Galitskaya Rus, is a completely different story. It is the same culture and people as Russia, who speak the same Russian language – granted, with some variations. There are cultures so much more different from the core Russian culture that nevertheless feel absolutely at home in Russia, considering the Russian culture their own.
Moreover, a Gallop poll conducted in 2008 on the post-Soviet space concluded that 5/6th of the residents of Ukraine consider Russian their main native language. Source: Anatoly Vasserman.
Therefore, it is absolutely impossible to explain what is happening in Ukraine from the cultural difference standpoint. The explanation is found elsewhere.
Clearly, should a complete freedom of expression and equal status with Ukrainian be given to Russian, very soon Ukraine would stop needing to be independent as the same culture and language will draw people from Russia and Ukraine together. This is exactly what those who want to divide and conquer, who want to assert their local power, cannot allow. To preserve the sovereignty of Ukraine’s power hungry elites and various imperial and global ambitions of NWO elites, it is necessary to discriminate against the rights of the majority of the population, it is necessary to prevent the population from speaking and thinking in their native language. Hence forced ukrainization and other ugly things I will talk about below.
I have been following Ukraine very closely ever since the maidan started in the end of 2013, and I have noticed a very interesting metamorphosis. If in the beginning of 2014 all Ukraine politicians, including Yanukovich and Poroshenko, absolutely always spoke Ukrainian in public to emphasize their ‘ukraine-ness,’ presently, Ukraine politicians, including rabid Russophobes, ukro-nazis and Poroshenko himself, speak Russian all the time during press conferences and Rada meetings. Of course, they also always spoke Russian in private because this is a much more natural language for them to speak. There are two reasons for that: 1. After threatening to nuke all the Russians, and after the massive exodus out of Ukraine, they are now trying to pacify the Russian-speaking majority in the country that it’s safe to stay. 2. This is also a bid for votes.
The rhetoric has changed like this: “we are not against Russian language or the Russian-speakers, we are against the big, threatening Russia that used to give us free gas and now is refusing to do so; we are against the mean Russia that used to subsidize our economy since Soviet times, and now is refusing to do so. Please, feel free to speak Russian anywhere you go, no one is going to beat you up or kill you for that any more (they did during and after maidan), but we’ll still ban ALL Russian papers, TV or journalists. They are all terrorists because they dare to tell the truth about what’s really happening in Ukraine.”
Certainly, some of this utter stupidity combined with pathological hatred had been brewing under the surface for a long time. In fact, there have always been two Ukraines: one was this nice and peaceful, sometimes exceedingly naive and sleepy place where I grew up; another – the vicious, the hateful, hiding in the shadows and secretly awaiting its chance to attack. This second place was continuously nourished and fed for centuries by certain forces from the West. The flame of hatred was kept artificially alive so at the right moment it could break through and scorch everything in sight.
The fire could have been much worse and the devastation could have been much bigger, if not for the absolute brilliance and level-headedness of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, and his team.
 Post-Soviet Republics and Russia
To understand the background of the Ukrainian situation and its artificial Russophobia, it’s useful to look at other post-Soviet republics.
During Soviet days, the neighboring Moldova was in mint condition due to constant infusions of resources by the Russian Federation – the same thing that happened in Ukraine and other Soviet republics. Brezhnev in particular had a soft spot for Moldova as he worked there at one point. Originally, Brezhnev was from Ukraine, and he heavily invested in Ukraine as well. Russia promoted local cultures, invested and industrialized heavily in ALL 14 Soviet republics, including in large part the Baltics – Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania – who now love to talk about how “Russians oppressed them.”
After the USSR collapse, Russia withdrew from all former republics to deal with her own problems, and as a result most republics quickly became poor and destitute.
Moldova’s elections are coming up and the country is being torn between the EU and Eurasian Union. While the majority of the population wants to be a part of the Eurasian Union, the elites are dragging the country towards EU and towards absorption by Romania. The amount of anti-Russian propaganda in Moldova is mind-boggling as well. In 1990-1992 Moldova went through today’s Ukraine scenario, on a smaller scale. The result was that the richest, most industrialized and productive part of then Moldova, Pridnestrovie, seceded. Presently, other parts of Moldova are threatening to secede, especially Gagauzia and the north. Much more here: LRL2: Explosion Coming! Moldova/Transnistria – Eurasian Union vs EU.
I am preparing a separate Earth Shift Report that will address the Baltics and particularly, Latvia, which just had parliamentary elections. Stay tuned for that.
Incidentally, neither Latvia nor Estonia ever existed as separate states. These were territories that passed from Germany and Sweden to Russia as a purchase or based on a peace treaty. I could go much deeper in history, but suffice it to say that it was Lenin, who for the first time gave Latvia and Estonia a status of an independent ‘state.’ These ‘states’ only exist thanks to Lenin’s decree. Others, such as Ukraine, only existed as ‘Soviet Socialist Republics’ in the context of the Soviet Union. Lenin was the ‘founding father’ of their respective nations. It’s interesting that instead of adoring Lenin, all these ‘independent and democratic nations’ hate him pretty viciously and destroy his monuments. Just shows the level of reasons and lucidity of these people.
Out of 14 republics (excluding the Russian Federation), only Belarus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan managed to preserve their Soviet-built enterprises and make them pay in the new era. Belarus also managed to build on them, creating the so-called ‘Belorussian miracle.’  Belarus succeeded because of the cosy relationship with Russia, therefore getting gas at heavily discounted price which makes its exports very competitive. The latter three – due to their own huge reserves of oil and gas, discovered and industrialized by Russia.
Another place that managed to preserve the Soviet inheritance is the break-away republic of Pridnestrovie (formerly part of Moldova) – but without any oil or gas.
The rest squandered their Soviet inheritance to various degree. However, like spoiled brats, some of them blamed Russia for their own mistakes and thievery. The spoiled brats in this case are Georgia, Moldova, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Ukraine. These are all former republics that look to the West. When the USSR fell apart they lost Russia as that ‘parent’ that took care of them, oftentimes spoiling them by giving them more than leaving for herself. Now brats want to latch onto the next ‘surrogate parent’ – EU. The goal is to take, giving little in return. However, the West doesn’t work that way. They won’t give anything for free, in fact they like to take more than they give. Meanwhile, Russia also learned her lesson and doesn’t want to squander her resources for nothing any more.
Thus, the countries that are used to latching on to someone stronger are left in the cold. This breeds irrational hatred that can be maliciously manipulated.
Here is a crucial point to understand about Russia! Unlike the Western empires, such as UK, US, Spain and France, who looted and drained resources of those countries they conquered, Russia drained herself to give to her satellites. Such imbalance had to end badly: on Russia’s side, due to the resentment of the core Russian population; on the side of the republics, due to their sense of absolute entitlement.
As a result, in the 1990s – 2000s, a very strange situation developed, when Russia still supplied Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Ukraine and Moldova with gas based on the heavily subsidized Soviet-entitlement-style prices, and in return, Russia got bashing, backstabbing and direct provocations from said republics. At the very same time, large parts, if not most populations of these republics spoke Russian and lived off Russian tourism and banking. A great example of this is the Baltics: Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia. The same three Baltic republics, plus Moldova, Ukraine and Georgia, while displaying animosity and openly threatening Russia with NATO expansion, happily continued exporting massive amounts of their products to Russia. This ended recently when Russia adopted a new import policy and embargo.
Subsidizing all these republics was all fine and good while USSR was doing well, but since it took away the resources from Russia proper and gave them disproportionately to the periphery, discontent grew in Russia when the USSR started collapsing. This generated a desire to be separate from the former ethnic republics in Russia proper, which didn’t help with the general relationship with said republics. Russia eventually recovered and started doing on average better than during Soviet times, thus proving that Russian resources had been indeed drained by the periphery subsidies.
But at the same time that Russia withdrew from the republics, US advisors, Soros, NGOs and NWO neocon/neoliberal influences moved in. Presently, we are observing the disastrous results of Russia’s withdrawal from the geopolitically important territories.
However, eventually the pull of Russia, affinity with her culture and worldview, combined with the economic benefits of working in Russia, proved to be so enormous that before long, massive numbers of immigrants from former Soviet republics flooded Russian cities and countryside.
The ignorant president of the USA, Obama, in a speech designed to calm down the Baltics (Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania), recently stated that Russia is so bad that no one wants to live there.
In reality, Russia is #2 country in the world for immigration after USA. At this rate, it will become #1 pretty soon. Massive numbers of residents of various post-Soviet republics work in Russia as guest workers. This especially concerns Ukraine (5.5mln Ukrainians out of arguably 39 million population: 45mln minus 2mln in Crimea and 4 mln in DNR and LNR) and Moldova (700,000+ out of 3.6 mln population). Kyrgyzstan and Armenia numbers are even higher as 1/2 of the population or more work in Russia. Large numbers immigrate from Georgia, Korea, and Central Asia. There are over 3 million Chinese immigrants in Russia. There is growing immigration from the West as well.
Meanwhile, up to 1/2 of the population of the Baltics immigrated to the West. Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania are empty.
 Western Propaganda in Ukraine
The Western style propaganda war was unleashed in the oligarch and Western NGO controlled Ukrainian media throughout the 1990s and 2000s. It has culminated between 2004 Orange Revolution and now. Soros-sponsored history books rewrote the entire history of Ukraine to prove that Ukrainians were completely separate from Russians. Western-trained journalists and Western-sponsored newspapers and TV have been promoting “western values’ and bashing anything Russian for over 20 years.
Most journalists from Ukraine and other post-Soviet countries were trained in Poland. Poland acted, and still does, as the massive training camp for anti-Russian media, opposition politicians and color revolutionary training (meaning how to throw Molotov cocktails more effectively and how to set buildings on fire). Trainers in these training seminars and camps are almost exclusively American, Canadian or British. Russian TV did some stories on these secret seminars held oftentimes in an inconspicuous Polish neighborhood. They obtained the lists of instructors with clearly English-sounding names. When they tried to film the inside through the window or glass door, the curtains would be drawn immediately or the door barricaded – all that caught on film.
As some of you may recall, just recently Poland was also implicated in the secret CIA prison and illegal torture scandal. CIA kidnapped people by the thousands and shipped them to the Polish secret prisons, where US torture laws didn’t apply, in violation I might add, of the EU laws.
As a result of this massive subversion of Ukraine, the old spites have been brought out of the woodwork and spun in the media to suit agendas alien to simple Ukrainians. Most of these spites belonged to the western Ukraine nazis, humiliated as a result of their defeat in WWII together with Hitler; others were the old spites of Poland or Lithuania whose past imperial ambitions were defeated more than once by Russia. These irrelevant spites were imposed on the rest of Ukraine.
It is clear that $5 billion Victoria Nuland was bragging about that US spent ‘to subvert Ukraine,’ wasn’t all they spent over the years. They had to pay off the sell-out journalists, fiction history book creators, politicians, and let’s not forget the equipping, training and financing the ukro-nazis from western Ukraine.
The West also had to feed the greediest of them all – Ukraine oligarchs who have been controlling and strangling the poor Ukraine since 1991. Poroshenko – real name Valtsman – is one of them. Valtsman Sr., the father of the Ukraine president, was an underground millionaire and crook from Odessa, who served several years in jail for stealing goods by the trainload during Soviet times. Greed runs in the family.
Incidentally, Ukraine’s president Poroshenko is one of the oligarchs controlling the media. He famously said that he would never sell the Channel 5 he owns. Here is the fact he doesn’t even try to hide: through his Channel 5 he had been influencing the public opinion during the 2004 Orange Revolution and throughout this year’s maidan and subsequent presidential election. So do a handful of other oligarchs controlling the country.
The scale of the lies of the Ukraine media can only be compared to the German Nazi propaganda circa Hitler. Some believe they have gone much further. As much as the Western MSM propaganda is mind-boggling, Ukraine today takes the cake. Russians are constantly accused of invasion, despite the fact that to this day, not a shred of evidence, nor a single picture, footage, or any other conclusive document has been presented. Ukraine MSM routinely lies, showing the Donbass self-defense, consisting of local citizens and volunteers from other countries, including Serbia, France and Spain, and calling it Russian troops. Kiev MSM routinely lies that the Donbass self-defense has shot at local citizens (their own families, in other words) and blew up their own houses. With that, the footage shown would be that of the destruction caused by the Ukraine army shelling. According to the Kiev media, the mass graves found in Donbass occurred because those people killed themselves with their hands tied behind their backs, then neatly dug out graves and buried themselves. Why hasn’t Himmler thought of this! Yeah, I forgot, Himmler was a bit smarter than that.
Meanwhile, Ukraine army openly hired well-paid mercenaries, including those from Poland, Georgia, Romania, Sweden, and other Western countries. Some of these mercenaries bombed innocent civilians in Donbass. Per reports, various US advisors still work by thousands in Ukraine.
Of course we all know the lies associated with MH17 downing.
At the same time, Ukrainians started officially referring to Russians as ‘Moskali’ – derogatory ‘from Moscow.’ By that logic, citizens of Siberia are also from Moscow. This is a direct attempt to incite hatred. This is also done to diminish anyone who is Russian – after all, Moscow is rather small compared to the entire Russian territory.
The word ‘Moskal’ isn’t Ukrainian, but Polish. The role of Poland in this whole disaster in Ukraine is very prominent and is quite a separate story. At one point, when the tribunal will be looking into war crimes in Ukraine, I suspect much ugliness will surface about the extent of Poland’s involvement.
At the same time, the citizens of Donbass are being made look like insects. They call them “coloradi,” as in ‘Colorado beetle’ because the ‘Georgievskaya Lentochka’ – the historic Russian ribbon worn by many as a reminder of the Great Victory in WWII (you’ve probably seen such flags and ribbons) consists of black and orange stripes.
georg lent 1
georg lent 2
Georgievskaya Lentochka commemorating the courage and sacrifice in the Great War (WWII)
This is a deliberate belittling and dehumanizing of the Russian-speakers as part of the massive brainwashing campaign of the Ukrainian population. If they are insects, then it’s fine to kill and bomb them. It’s hard for most humans to kill other humans. But if they are insects, or separatists, or Russian invasion – no problem. I talked about how the divide and conquer strategy worked historically in Forbidden History: Are Scandinavians Slavs? All this is happening in front of our very eyes in Ukraine and other post-Soviet countries. The one difference is that presently the power is shifting rapidly from the West to the East, so the old playbook doesn’t work any more.
Tiger
In reality, Georgievskaya Lentochka draws on the coloring of the tiger and symbolizes courage, power and discernment.
This ancient symbol is also a combination of the sun – orange color, and earth – black color. In other words, it’s a unity of the heaven and earth wisdom, thus symbolizing the yin/yang balance.
I have recently listened to the popular radio show by a well-known Russian comedian and film-maker Mikhail Zadornov called “Neformat: The Divided States of America.” Zadornov always had an independent streak and sharp tongue, often criticizing powers that be, including Putin. Even he now supports Putin. That said, he was a close friend of Yeltsin in the early 1990s, and he was at the time, as many others in Russia, pro-Western democracy. He admits he changed his views ever since, which is a mark of a smart man – only fools don’t evolve. Here is a quote from Zadornov: “Don’t malign the Soviet Union, don’t cut off your roots. Those who spit at their past, don’t have a future. By the way, all those who lived during Soviet times now recall it as the best time of their life. Back then, there were many more good, kind people compared to today, when we live under capitalism.”
Incidentally, here is the video in which ukro-nazis are demolishing the largest in the world historic monument to Lenin and beating up people who try to object: The Ugly Mask of Fascism in Ukraine 1: Urge to Destroy, and related, The Ugly Mask of Fascism in Ukraine 2: Letter From a Russian Liberal.
NEW Intel and Predictions: Peace and War Crimes in Ukraine? Russian Gas or Cold Winter?
Only then we can defeat Russia when we make Russians in Ukraine hate Russians in Russia – whatever Western politician said that in the 19th century knew exactly what he was talking about. Think about it! If I heard this quote, so did those in the West whose life’s dream it is to do away with Russia. And as we see from what’s going on in Ukraine, they are acting on it. We live in the information matrix, where those who control the info-stream control the world. The image of Russia as an enemy was created in the past 23 years of ‘independence’ in many of the post-Soviet countries. Of course, in each case they had to draw on legitimate, or in most cases imaginary, historic reasons. Sometimes history was falsified, and sometimes it was turned upside down. The absolutely impossible to believe change that happened to Ukraine in the short 20 years is one of the best illustrations of how history is re-written and falsified just as soon as it happens. However, the roots of Russophobia, going hand in hand with a profoundly close connection of Russia and Ukraine, go much deeper in history.
What are the Roots of the Radical Russophobia in Ukraine?
“You said that Russians didn’t suppress the minorities, and that it was more the other way around. That seems logical, but it also raises the issue with the Ukraine today. Many say the radical Ukrainian sentiment was basically started in the USSR. Much milder than today, of course, but strong enough that it went wild once independence occurred. You might want to go over that in a post at some point. If you keep telling people that Russians are bad, including people in the historically Russian areas of the Ukraine, they will eventually agree.”
This is an excellent question raised by Paul Plane of the Plane Truth show in the comment to my post: Raising Chi Against Hatred: The Suppressed Story of Russian Songs that Unite World Cultures. The Plane Truth/Time Monk Radio are friends of the FuturisTrendcast (see Lada Ray interviews with the Plane Truth here). I addressed parts of this issue in various articles and interviews,  but I do realize how difficult it is for those who grew up in the West to reconcile this with all the lies they had been fed since childhood. In this article I have put together a comprehensive analysis of this important issue. Note, I am just scratching the surface; there are deeper and very fascinating reasons, which concern everyone alive on the planet. I will eventually touch upon those in my future Earth Shift Reports and LadaRayLive shows.
First, let’s start with a few psychological premises and historic truths that may open your eyes
1. In any culture at all times there will be a certain amount of dissent against central power or against majority – sometimes justified, sometimes based on personal likes, dislikes, disappointments and power-mongering aspirations, whether justified or not. How far this dissent will go depends on factors such as: the strength of central power; support of the population; is there an economic crisis/collapse; and very importantly, are any foreign powers feeding said dissent with money, weapons and subversive propaganda. When above conditions don’t apply, the dissent is negligible or dormant.
2. Humans at large are prone to jealousy for someone more successful than they are. This usually comes from the personal sense of powerlessness, when people feel they aren’t in control of their own life. This applies to both individuals and countries.
3. Humans at large are prone to fear and panic, as well as hatred, born from fear and the above sense of powerlessness.
4. Ukraine had been subjected over the years to all of the above. Ukrainian dissent was dormant during the Soviet years, when Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic was considered second most economically developed republic of the Union, after Russian Federation. This happened because Russia/USSR flooded Ukraine with technology, advanced specialists, industrialization, and simply with money.
5. Apart from the above, Ukrainians do have this interesting quality, particular to them. I did write about that in one of my past  articles, where I pointed out the very well-known Ukrainian saying: “If I can’t eat them all, I’ll bite into each” (sounds like a vampire). In Ukrainian: “Yaksho ne z’im to ponadkusuyu,” meaning, if I can’t have something, no one else will.
See, Russians never had any such saying; quite the opposite – Russians are very generous, oftentimes to a fault. As we know, national sayings aren’t born by accident – they appear and take root based on the long-term observation of the manifest human nature. It seems, Ukrainians had the opportunity to observe the ‘if I can’t have it, no one will’ type of behavior among their brethren quite a bit.
The USSR collapse aftermath
In 1991, Soviet Union fell apart peacefully and quietly, practically on a handshake. Following that, Russians withdrew from everywhere on post-Soviet space to deal with their own collapse and internal problems, leaving at the mercy of the nationalistic, mega-corrupt, and oftentimes openly fascist governments over 25 million ethnic Russians who lived in various post-Soviet republics. In addition to that, another 100+ million people of various ethnic origins, who considered themselves belonging to the Greater Russian culture, were stranded in different corners of the post-Soviet space, now foreigners and illegals in Russia proper, which they considered their greater mother culture. Add to that another few hundred million Russians and pro-Russian all over the world suffering from a massive confusion and withdrawal. This, as Vladimir Putin once said (and I concur), is the greatest humanitarian catastrophe of modern times. The Russian people now constitute the largest EVER divided ethnicity on planet Earth.
The turmoil and confusion in people’s heads was tremendous, and this included not only ethnic Russians – as I said, it also included about 100 million of others on post-Soviet space who, being Ukrainians, Belarus, Georgians, Kazakhs, Uzbeks, Armenians, Abkhazians, Moldavians, Kyrgyzs, Gagauzs, Latvians, Poles, Bulgarians, Jews, also considered themselves Russian. Some people had to go through a lot of hardship, and some developed resentment, feeling they were left in the cold by the country they considered their mother culture. Some moved to Russia as guest workers with very little rights (but making a lot more money than in their native parts), and some chose to emigrate abroad, where salaries were much higher, but life much more boring and alien to them.
However, as Russia started recovering, and the West’s economic conditions began worsening, the cultural re-integration of the Greater Russian culture slowly but surely gained speed. It has been going on for years – through movies, songs, books and art competitions (as depicted in my above-mentioned article) as well as through humor of the traditional game show called KVN. KVN is older than I am; its fans are many and it manages to unite people not only from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and the Baltics, but also from Georgia (just recently a sworn enemy of Russia), UK, Germany and Israel. There are now Africans, Chinese and Koreans playing KVN. I write about some of the above issues in Why US/EU/NWO Can Never Defeat Russia. Also watch: LadaRayLive 2. Explosion Coming! Moldova/Transnistria – Eurasian Union vs EU and read Moldova Explosion Coming 2: Coalition “Moldova’s Choice-Customs Union”.
Russia started recovering from the 1990s knockout AFTER Putin came to power. When Putin first appeared on stage in 1999, he wasn’t taken seriously; in fact, he received threats and pretty humiliating remarks from other political forces. It was at the time when he was looking for support for the upcoming 2000 elections. To clear the way for Putin, Yeltsin stepped down ahead of time, and I recall that moment very clearly. Although I resided in the US, I listened to the nationally televised address by Yeltsin from the Kremlin on December 31, 1999. After traditionally congratulating everyone with the New Year 2000 and with the beginning of the new millennium, Yeltsin publicly apologized for all he had done wrong and asked for the Russian people’s forgiveness. Then he announced he was stepping down.
I wasn’t concerned with geopolitics back than; nor did I care about Yeltsin. But I did care about Russia and her people. I felt immediately that something very important was about to happen. Time has proven that my feeling was correct. The story of who and what was behind Yeltsin stepping down and Putin coming to power is extremely interesting in its own right. I will discuss that in the upcoming Earth Shift Report: The Putin Enigma.
Ukraine Today
When Ukraine became “independent” in 1991, everyone in the West, as well as many inside Ukraine itself, predicted that it would become the beacon of how the newly FREE countries liberated from the Soviet ‘occupation,’ should develop and grow. It was said that Ukraine would be the beacon of democracy and a stellar performer. It was a general Western and Ukrainian consensus that Ukraine would develop and grow much better than Russia. The demise and a full disintegration of Russia was also predicted in the West, and among those Russians who considered themselves smart, Western-oriented intellectuals. I believe some of those who predicted all this were Kissinger, Brzezinski and Albright. From that I make the inevitable conclusion: IT IS BECAUSE USA LISTENS TO ‘ANALYSTS’ LIKE THESE, US POLICIES ALL OVER THE WORLD ARE A COMPLETE FAILURE AND DISASTER. I suggest everyone start listening to the predictions of those who know what they are talking about. Yours truly is a good start. 😉 My predictions can be found here.
Ukraine was juxtaposed to Russia as a great democratic success. Same was said in the 1990/2000s about Georgia, Latvia, Estonia – and look what is happening in these countries now: empty coffers, skyrocketing debt, 1/4-1/2 (and more) of the population are migrant workers in Russia or West as Soviet-built economy has been destroyed. Meanwhile, Russia turned around and continued adjusting, growing and developing.
Ukraine experimented with being “independent” for 23 years. The result is the severely damaged economy, hyper-inflation, currency collapse, civil war, oligarch takeover and takeover by foreign powers. If Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic’s GDP ranked #10 in the world in 1990, independent Ukraine’s GDP ranks #63 in the world as of 2013 (data by Dr. Natalia Vitrenko, former Rada deputy, leader of the Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine). Note, this GDP was calculated in 2013, before the maidan and Kiev junta managed to destroy the rest of Ukraine’s economy.
If they truly cared for their country instead of their oversized egos and fat offshore bank accounts in payment for their services to NWO elites, they would have taken a good look at what THEY did wrong that caused this disaster. But of course it’s just so much easier to blame Russia.
In the past 23 years the MSM, politics and education were gradually taken over by the West together with the Ukrainian oligarchs with Swiss villas and wealth stored in Western offshores, whose interests coincided with the interests of the West.
Soros-funded history books have been fed to school children. According to this fiction Ukrainians descended from the unknown tribe of the ancient Ukrs – absolutely separate from Russians, and not from the Kievan and Galitskaya Rus. Russia in these books is portrayed as aggressor. In reality Russia saved Ukraine from the invasion and annihilation by Poles and Turks 360 years ago by accepting Ukraine’s plea to admit it into Russia. Ukraine history books portrayed Crimea and Novorossia as part of its territory, completely disregarding the truth – more about that later. In the Ukr history books Jesus Christ, Julius Caesar, as well as Adam and Eve, were all… genuine Ukrainians. It would be funny if it wasn’t that sad.
During the prosperous Soviet days the Ukrainian nationalism and envy were dormant. They woke up and proliferated with a vengeance when the economic collapse hit the country, therefore proving the old American adage that invariably ‘it’s the economy, stupid.’ It is interesting that Ukraine’s ruling class and the majority of the population, especially those nationalist or fascist-inclined, are in a complete and total denial as to what is happening in their country. Again – it’s so much more convenient to blame Russia!
The economy destruction gave birth to political unrest and the super-corrupt and sold-out elites. Such juicy pre-requisites coupled with pretty ignorant and savage population are a boon for the West in order to weaken Russia further. There is no question that Russians were asleep at the wheel geopolitically since 1985, when Gorbachev came to power. Later, Russia had to deal with her own demons… and own super-corrupt politicians and oligarchs. When Russians pretty much pulled out of Ukraine on all levels (this applies to the entire post-Soviet space), US/EU/NWO rolled in right away. And presto! This volatile confluence of events and conditions created the gross imbalance we are observing today.
It may seem from all I have said that Ukraine has never been a conscious ‘geopolitical subject,’ but rather an ‘object of geopolitics.’ It is actually true. Ukraine never had a successful run as an independent country.
Moreover, Ukraine was only successful when it was a part of Russia. This statement can be verified year after year with clear historic facts. Ukraine reached its pinnacle as the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic during Soviet times. From a small, agricultural and poor area around Kiev and what is now central Ukraine, it grew into a huge territory, courtesy of various Soviet leaders, at the expense of others. Ukraine’s economy, if taken separately from the USSR totals, was ranked No. 10 in the world; and Russians even made sure Ukraine had its own representation in the UN and other international bodies. Of course, all this was promptly forgotten by the nezalezhna – once Ukraine turned independent.
It wasn’t my plan to bring up the issue of karma in this article, but how can I resist when it’s staring me in the eye: where you are going, there you are! In the words of my novelette, CATHARSIS (Legend of the Lemurians), “Karma can be a beautiful maiden… or a bitch.”
THE REAL HISTORY OF UKRAINE
No, the anti-Russian sentiment wasn’t born during Soviet times. If anything, any real Ukrainian should be grateful to the Soviets. After all, it was Lenin in 1918-1922, who ‘gave’ all of east and south, including Donbass (Lugansk and Donetsk), Zaporozhie, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov, Odessa, Kherson and Nikolaev to Ukraine. This was done to appease the existing ultra-nationalist sentiment there, plus to give the poor, agricultural Ukraine (What I call ‘Ukraine proper’ – the areas concentrated around Kiev, central and northern Ukraine) an industrial base and educated work force, which could bring them sustainable revenue. The goal was to significantly pull up their standard of living. Under Stalin, this idea was expanded as Russians built an extremely strong industrial base in Ukraine, off which Ukraine has been living till today. The fact that they, and their oligarchs, never modernized or added to that base, but like a bad drunk preferred to squander their rich Soviet inheritance, speaks volumes of their ability to self-govern. That notwithstanding, they blame Russia.
As many of my readers know, I grew up in Odessa, a beautiful and wealthy Black Sea port and resort, built by the Russians in 1793. Just like Crimea and other productive and wealthy areas of the South and East, Odessa became a part of Ukraine due to the short-sighted actions of the Soviet leaders; in this case, Lenin.
This is the historic truth. However, the ignorant and sold-out media, politicians and writers in the West and Ukraine will routinely lie and blame Russia for “invading Odessa.” The truth is, Odessa always was and always will be a Russian city.
I once came across an American/Israeli novelist Daniel Silva who is routinely producing bestseller spy thrillers based, unfortunately, on outright lies. I once picked up a book written by this ‘novelist’ in which action took place in Russia, Crimea and Odessa. The descriptions were so bad and so far from the truth that it was clear the man had no idea whatsoever how either Odessa or Crimea should look, the names were absolutely wrong, and of course – both Crimea and Odessa were occupied by the bad Russians, until in 1991 the poor Ukrainians (with completely idiotically sounding non-Ukrainian names) reclaimed their CORE (??) territories of Crimea and Odessa. I haven’t seen a bigger BS in my life.
This is how Western propaganda works – it’s not just MSM or politicians. They pay big bucks to sold-out puppets like the above-mentioned novelist Silva to produce a lie in a pretty wrapper. This alone gives us a good idea how one’s book becomes a bestseller in the US – write a lie big enough, preferably about Russia, China or the Middle East, and you are guaranteed a best-seller status. Needless to say, I dropped that book like a hot potato. Guess what, I see Daniel Silva books all the time on bestseller lists. Looks like their propaganda keeps working.
Every library and store would carry shelves upon shelves of lies written by professional crooks. So many will read them and think this is the truth. In the information vacuum what choice do they have? And that’s how you create zombified, manipulated, brainwashed populace that you twist into a pretzel on moment’s notice.
I write the TRUTH in my books and this is why they don’t carry them in libraries and stores. Do check out my paperbacks and ebooks, and support my writing by buying them! Incidentally, all my ebooks are on Pre-Holiday Book Sale! See more in BOOKS.
Just like in Crimea, 100% of Odessans always spoke Russian and/or a special Odessan mixed language. Recently, I was watching clips with pro-Ukrainian, pro-ukronazi demonstration in Odessa; they showed young people and families with children who spoke and carried slogans in Ukrainian. I can assure you, no real Odessan in his/her right mind ever speaks Ukrainian – these were the Kiev junta plants. To me, this little clip proved the level of lies, and the crude, unprofessional deception of the Kiev junta. They couldn’t get the real citizens for this protest, so they brought in the traveling circus, and with children – a nice touch!
It was also Stalin who ‘added’ to Ukraine – note, to Ukraine, NOT Russia! – some regions of Western Ukraine that belonged previously to Romania, Hungary and Poland. Russia did have a strong historic claim on these areas (in medieval times this area was called Galitskaya Rus and the population was ethnically Russian, Russin or Malorussian), but they were taken over or annexed by other countries in the last few centuries, until Stalin annexed them in 1940 to extend the USSR border, thus creating a buffer zone in case of Hitler’s attack. Presently, these are territories that may be disputed by the above-mentioned countries.
And of course, Ukrainians should have been grateful to Russians forever due to Khrushchev giving them Crimea in 1954. Instead, they treated the Crimea and its people like…. I will omit the word that comes to mind. Together with all other undeserved Soviet inheritance, they squandered the prized possession such as Crimea. Incidentally, you can listen to the Lada Ray Live show on YouTube for more on Crimea and the theft of the Crimean Scythian gold. Listen to this episode.
Earlier history of Ukraine
16-19th century. When large parts of what was called at different times the Kievan (Kievskaya) Rus, Galitskaya Rus, Malorossia, and subsequently, Ukraine, were taken over at different times by Poland, Lithuania and Austria-Hungary, some of the local population was gradually re-molded into the Western-centric mentality and brainwashed.
Historic facts
In the 19th century Austria-Hungary built concentration camps for some of western Ukrainians, who always called themselves Russins and who – oh, surprise – considered themselves Russians. These camps were built for those who didn’t submit to the ‘we are separate from Russia’ ideology. There was a well covered-up genocide of the Russins in western Ukraine when the whole villages were either burned down or forcibly converted into Catholicism.
Divide and conquer: It is generally understood by researchers that project ‘Ukraine is a separate nation’ was born in Austria-Hungary in the 18th century. Later, it was adopted and expanded by Poland. The goal was to tear Ukrainians away from Russia. From the standpoint of an occupier it’s not good when a part of your country (parts of Ukraine, in fact parts of Russian historic and cultural territory, were occupied by Poland and Austria-Hungary, and before that, by Lithuania) considers you an illegal occupier and keeps looking at Russia as their motherland. Look at the striking parallels with today’s Donbass! They don’t consider Ukraine their motherland; instead they keep raising Russian flags, declaring allegiance to Russia.
Project Ukraine: 360 years ago cossack Bogdan Khmelnitsky and his people voted to re-unite with Russia. Other choices that didn’t get much popular support were joining the Osmanic Turkey or Poland. Russia accepted the territory with the capital in Kiev, which at that point was called Malorossia. Novorossia (currently the East and South of Ukraine) was NOT a part of Malorossia.
In medieval times, the neighboring Poland and Lithuania had big emperial designs. There were times when both Poland and Lithuania grew through conquest of neighboring Slavic lands. The back and forth struggles between states continued for centuries, until during the Time of Troubles Poland, which by then absorbed Lithuania, tried to conquer Russia, installing a Polish king on the Russian throne. As my readers may know from reading my Predictions and articles, any attempt to conquer Russia always ends very badly for the conqueror wannabe.
The popular uprising of the Russian people against occupiers produced true heroes and leaders. One of the heroes was local peasant Ivan Susanin, who volunteered to show the Polish army a secret path into Moscow to ensure their surprise attack, but instead led them into swamps, where he sacrified his life dying together with the Poles, thus saving Moscow from imminent invasion. The leaders of the 1612 uprising were citizen-commoner Kuzma Minin and Prince (Knyaz’) Pozharsky, who organized a grass-roots army financed by rich merchants and simple citizens alike. It was a truly popular movement when people donated their last money and when everyone rose regardless of their age and status in society.
The defeat of the occupiers was only the beginning. The result of every aggression against Russia is always the same. The result of this aggression was that eventually both Lithuania and Poland became parts of the Russian Empire. As I said, it’s never a good idea to attack Russia.
From this it is clear that some in Poland, and Lithuania too, had kept a certain amount of resentment due to their historic defeat. Interestingly enough, while Ukraine was now a part of Russia, Polish lords (pani) still were the largest land owners and serf-owners in Ukraine. Russians didn’t expropriate their private property. Serfs were Ukrainian peasants, sort of half-slaves who were owned and could be sold or bought by their lords. The Polish pani were very vicious and cruel as documented in many Ukrainian works of literature. The greatest Ukrainian poet, Taras Shevchenko (see more about him below) dedicated his whole life to exposing and telling the truth about the exploitation of Ukrainians by the Polish pani. There were lots of peasant uprisings with manors and palaces being burned.
In fact, Ukraine was so named in Poland, not in Russia. In Russia the territory around Lvov, Kiev and Poltava was called Malorossia (or Russia Minor). ‘Ukraina’ ‘vkraina’ or ‘okraina’ means the outskirts in many Slavic languages. To Poles Ukraine was the outskirts of their once bigger empire. The name was used parallel with the official name of Malorossia in everyday language for quite some time, but it gained popularity since mid-19th century thanks to the Polish intellectuals from Lvov.
The name of the man who was the driving force behind ‘Ukraine is separate from Russia’ project was Kalinka. He was a Polish ksendz (Catholic priest). In 1864 he created a plan to separate Ukraine from Russia following a historic event in 1861 when Russian Emperor Alexander freed serfs. The now free farmers were granted some of the lands that Polish pani-shliakhta considered their own. There was a rather significant Polish shliakhta insurrection in 1963. However, that insurrection was quelled not by the Russian army or police, but by the self-armed army consisting of former serfs themselves who were promised lands of those Polish lords who participated in the insurrection. Clearly, the Polish shliakhta never forgot their humiliation and defeat. The idea was if they can’t have Ukraine, then it won’t belong to Russia either.
Incidentally, current Ukrainian anthem adopted in the 1990s was also written in the beginning of the 20th century as a semi-joke by several Polish intellectuals from Lvov, plotting their revenge on Russia. The anthem is infamous for its depressive and incongruent lyrics, such as, “So far Ukraine is alive…” Meaning, they are expecting it to die soon? Talk about a self-fulfilling prophecy… The verses that became the present day Ukraine anthem were copied quite talentlessly, but with a purpose – to diminish and destroy – from the Polish anthem. In the Polish anthem there are words, “Poland is still alive (but unlike in the Ukraine anthem, the next line clarifies), while we are…” The clarifying line gives the whole thing an entirely different meaning.
Considering that Polish pani owned Ukraine lands and people, this is the first time in history the occupied are proudly singing the anthem written by their occupiers.
Opening the Pandora’s Box: since Ukraine wants to join the EU, Poles are preparing historic claims on Ukrainian lands they used to own. 70,000 such claims exist in Poland alone. There are also several thousand in Romania, Hungary and Israel. Ownership claims from the descendants of the dreaded Polish pani include agricultural lands, manors, villages, buildings, whole cities and factories.
A Note from Lada:
I will leave outside the scope of this article the discussion as to how close Ukrainians are to Russians, or how close Poles and Lithuanians are to Russians for that matter. Very close, I can assure you. However, here we are not talking of ancestral closeness, but of ideology. In medieval times this ideology was based on difference in religion, with Vatican/Catholicism being the aggressor. Later, in the 18th/19th century, it was based on ethnicity, falsification of historical roots and allegiance to the crown. In the 20th century, it became the communism vs. capitalism fight. And in the 21st century, they again dragged out the moth-eaten 18th-19th century’s falsified history and allegiance.
But wait! do you notice THE COMMON DENOMINATOR in all these cases? The ENEMY NUMBER 1 is ALWAYS RUSSIA! It doesn’t matter what ideology they peruse. What matters is how easy it is to brainwash and zombify humans.
As a comparative linguist and mystical futurist (see my articles about the Mysteries of Linguistics), I can tell you that the peoples of Europe, and by extension, of Eurasia, ARE the same people, or at least, very close relatives with the same roots. I can also tell you that in a cosmic sense, we are all ONE.
It is a shame that people who are so close can’t live in peace!
I’ll also add the following: it is clear to me that most of the world’s population does want to live in peace and cooperation, which includes the majority in the countries/continents I sometimes criticize, such as Ukraine, Poland, US, UK, and Europe. However, certain forces on our planet are after unlimited power at the expense of others. This ruthless drive for power and money is what creates wars and instability. These forces change their shape and flags in time and space, but their essence always remains the same. As long as people allow themselves to be led by their lowly emotions, such as fear, greed and anger, they will always be a willing cannon fodder and useful fools in the hands of these master manipulators.
For more on how greed, fear and other lowly emotions produce catastrophic results read/watch:
Other examples: The same situation occurred in 2008 in South Ossetia/Abkhazia – Georgia war. Serbians will never forget how the former Yugoslavia was broken up and how Serbia was bombed in the 1990s. Today, the Crimea and Donbass-like scenario is taking place in parts of Moldova, specifically, Pridnestrovie and Gagauzia – both had referendums in which about 97% of citizens voted for re-uniting with Russia. I am following the Moldova/Pridnestrovie/Gagauzia story very closely, as it may explode any moment. See my article Moldova Explosion Coming 2: Coalition “Moldova’s Choice-Customs Union” and special video report: LadaRayLive 2. Explosion Coming! Moldova/Transnistria – Eurasian Union vs EU.
Back to Ukraine. Of course we shouldn’t forget about the forced religious conversion of Ukrainians from Orthodoxy into Catholicism, which started around 17-18th century and continues till today. In those days religious conversion was the best way to divide cultures. Same happened in Serbia/Yugoslavia, where Muslim and Catholic religions were used to divide and pit against each the traditionally Orthodox Christian Southern Slavs.
The story of Ukrainian pro- and anti-Russian mentality is very well depicted in the famous historic story by Nikolay Gogol, Taras Bulba. It is the story of a Cossack and his two sons. The world-famous Russian author Nikolay Gogol was from Ukraine, and to him it would have never occurred to say that he wasn’t Russian. Same goes for the celebrated 19th century Ukrainian poet and thinker, Taras Shevchenko, whose whole life was spent in a fight against the Polish shliakhta, or Polish pani – rich Polish landowners who owned a lot of Ukraine’s lands. Shevchenko spoke up in protection of the simple Ukrainians who were exploited by the Polish shliakhta. Taras Shevchenko is called the ‘Great Kobzar’ in Ukraine and is celebrated as the biggest Ukrainian poet. Meanwhile, most of Shevchenko’s works are written in Russian, and only a small portion – in Ukrainian. Gogol wrote almost exclusively in Russian.
Taras Shevchenko saw the best and only protection for Ukraine in being a part of Russia, the same way as the leader of Ukraine Bogdan Khmelnitsky 360 years ago saw Ukraine’s future as one with Russia. Bogdan Khmelnitsky asked Russia to accept Ukraine as part of its territory and Russia said ‘yes,’ thus protecting Ukraine from a hostile takeover. By the way, 360 years ago, a truly democratic referendum was conducted in cities and villages to decide whether Ukraine should in fact join Russia. Khmelnitsky’s cossacks went from town to town and asked whether citizens wanted to be under Russia, Poland or Osmanic Empire. And everywhere citizens unanimously responded, “with Russia” (source: Dr. Natalia Vitrenko, leader of the progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine: Link). Since then, Ukraine has devolved substantially in terms of democracy.
The 18th century Ukrainian poet/philosopher Skovoroda wrote in his bio: “Russian philosopher.” Same goes for the 19th century Ukrainian poetess, Lesia Ukrainka (Lesia the Ukrainian). These people are not just anyone – their portraits are on the contemporary Ukraine currency.
Notice that they celebrated their heritage, just like a resident of Moscow, Rostov, Ryazan, or the Urals, would celebrate their own local heritage, but at the same time, they felt a part of the Greater Russian culture. Today’s Ukrainians have become masters at denying the obvious.
When I grew up in Odessa, our biggest park was, still is, called the Shevchenko Park. In school, we all learned the poetry of Taras Shevchenko in Ukrainian, although 100% of the multi-national population of Odessa ALWAYS spoke Russian (the language today’s Ukraine has tried to officially ban) and Odessa wasn’t even supposed to be a part of Ukraine. Just a reminder of how all-inclusive the Russian culture was and is, and how today’s Ukro-fascism is the complete opposite of that.
See my popular articles about Odessa with great images:
Interesting example: After WWII, Germany was divided into two countries. East Germany is mostly Prussia, another part of Germany is called Saxonia, yet another Bavaria. All these areas historically have their own dialects. There are about 50,000 Serbs in Germany that have lived there for millenia, except in today’s Germany they are called ‘Sorbs.’ Does it occur to anyone to say one part is German and another isn’t? Did it ever occur to anyone to deny east and west of Germany didn’t deserve to be together? No – they reunited as one nation. In parts of Germany they speak language the other parts have trouble understanding; yet, they all consider themselves German despite big differences in psychology and language.
Historic truth: From the above, we can already see that in 19th century and prior, those who are called today Ukrainians thought of themselves as Russian. Ukraine had a distinct, and very lovely dialect. Ukrainian was a dialect, along with Belorussian, until Lenin and the Bolsheviks decided to upgrade it to a language. Bolsheviks have done this to many other dialects on the Soviet space as well. Russian linguists oftentimes worked overtime to create alphabets for those small dialects that had no written language, thus upgrading them and giving them second life. This was the way Bolsheviks wanted to celebrate the diversity of Russia, elevating the dignity of small cultures. As a linguist I know a thing or two about that.
But the story goes deeper. During Peter the Great there was a war with Sweden. Appointed by Peter Ukraine’s governor (it was the Ukraine that didn’t include today’s East, South, West and Crimea), Ukrainian Cossack Getman Mazepa, betrayed Russia and sided with Sweden. Let’s also remember that Ukraine was still called Malorossia in those days. Here is a vivid illustration of how far today’s official Ukraine has gone: Ukrainian school history books describe Getman Mazepa as a hero. They also portray as a hero Stepan Bandera, Shukhevich and other ukro-nazis who headed SS Division Galichina and similar outfits during WWII, and who were responsible for massacring hundreds of thousands of Russians, Jews, Ukrainians and Poles.
The attempted Swedish invasion of Russia failed. Swedish king Karl lost to Peter in the Battle of Poltava. Poltava is a city located in today’s central Ukraine. It has to be noted that attempts to invade and conquer Russia by the West are as old as the world itself. I explained the West’s maniacal desire to conquer Russia in PREDICTONS and in Predictions: The Real Reasons for West’s Anti-Russian Sanctions. I will be expanding on my predictions eventually, so stay tuned.
Russians are well-aware of all these historic episodes, but they have been customarily closing their eyes to the facts, pretending it never happened in order to keep the “bad peace in the family,” following the Russian principle that ‘bad peace is better than a good war.’ They would usually do so until it were impossible to keep such peace and the rosy glasses that went with it.
Is Kiev really the Mother of all Russian Cities?
We have to dig even deeper from here. There is a vernacular floating around that ‘Kiev is the Mother of all Russian cities.’ This phrase was born of Lenin’s/Bolsheviks’ desire to appease Ukraine ultra-nationalists circa 1918-20 and to create the ‘brotherhood of nations.’ Admirable, but incredibly misguided. Russians customarily repeat this phrase, without thinking what it means.
In reality, during the medieval times Kiev was a large, important and rich city, but hardly the ‘mother of all Russian cities.’ The history of the Russian civilization was deliberately re-written and shortened to make it seem as if Russia was only a 1000 years old. The ancient Rus (Slavic) chronicles were burned and any evidence of the many, many millenia of the Rus (alternatively called Slavyano-Arian) culture all over the world, including in Germany, Italy, Switzerland, the British Isles, Mediterranean, the Urals, Siberia, beyond the Arctic Circle, Egypt, and on North American continent, erased. However, all this information is now coming out as the new advanced scientific methods allow to read things that were unreadable before, and calculate mathematically past events that were falsified. The falsifications were so widespread that literally we can all throw out the entire history we ever studied, and learn it from scratch. This concerns Russia, Eurasia, Asia, Europe, America and the Middle East.
Extremely advanced Rus cities existed well before Kiev everywhere, including those places considered today too cold for human habitation, such as the Kolsky peninsula in the White Sea beyond the Arctic Circle, the northern Ural Mountains, Arctic Siberia near the North Pole, to name a few. It is proven that advanced civilizations existed as far as 40 thousand years ago, and it is believed that they also thrived much, much longer prior. On the other hand, very important Rus/Slavic cities also existed in Western Europe, including in what is today Mediterranean, Italy and Germany. This includes the famous historic cities, such as Venice, Verona, Vienna, Rome, Troy, Berlin, Bern, Pompei, to name just a few. Venice was built by ancient Slavs called Veneds, and so was Vienna. The close relatives of Veneds, Et-ruskans (in Russian: Et-russki) had built Rome. Look at the word “Ro-me.” Now look at the word “Rossiya.” You can say “Rus” and you can say “Ro-ssiya. “Ro-me” — “Ro-ssiya.”
The brainwashing was so great that even the majority of Russians, including most Russian scientists, Lenin and the Bolsheviks, went along with the “Rus is 1000 years of age” theory. That’s why they promoted Kiev as the most important, title city of the medieval Rus, from which the entire history of Russia supposedly began. (I write about some of this in the Forbidden Linguistics. Linguistics can help us uncover the hidden mysteries and clarify historic distortions.)
If we take the medieval era alone, and only within the contemporary Russian territory, in 5-10th centuries (and well before that) there were cities of the Golden Ring (Suzdal, Vladimir, etc.) located around Moscow, as well as Veliky Novgorod (Great Novgorod), that were at least just as important as Kiev – possibly more. The age of Moscow is likely at least several thousand years, not 900 years, as the mainstream history will have you believe.
The actual name of Moscow is Moskva in Russian. The name was distorted, perhaps accidentally. It was called Maskova well before the year 1147, which is erroneously considered the first mention of Moscow in chronicles, and therefore its birthday. Of course it is the first mention since all earlier mentions were destroyed! So, the name Maskova (source: Russian linguist, Prof. Valery Chudinov, Russian Academy of Sciences Member) comes from ‘maska.’ Maska is the Russian word, from which the Western word mask had originated.
The word masquerade comes from Russian maskarad: maska + rad. Rad = ‘rad-ovatsia’ – to experience joy, to have fun, as well as to commune/talk with others. Incidentally, the Ukraine parliament is called ‘Rada,’ or a place where people are supposed to commune and discuss things, preferably with joy ;). Instead they often have fist fights there, completely negating the true meaning of this ancient word. The word ‘rad’ is very, very ancient and it has a very profound meaning. I will talk more about it in a future report related to the discoveries of the Russian scientists.
In the ancient days, maska had a broader meaning and symbolized anything artistically painted. Before that, it symbolized Vedic (ancient Rus pagan) religious paintings. When Russia adopted Orthodox Christianity, it became the first name for icons. However, the word undoubtedly has pre-Christian meaning and very ancient origin.
Incidentally, the word ikona, ‘icon’ in English, is also a very ancient Russian word. What we know as a Russian icon today was called “maska” in those ancient days, and Maskova (Moskva) was the place where these icons were painted. The real age, origins the true global importance of the Rus language and culture (also referred to as Slavic), would be a separate topic. The words such as “ikona,” “Rus” or “Ros,” and “Slav” are hugely important for all of us.
I’ll give you a hint: it is precisely because the earthly importance and global weight of the Rus culture and language is much greater than customarily portrayed, there had always been forces bent on diminishing and maligning Russia and Russian culture. There is so much more to say on the subject, and I promise we’ll talk about it in my future reports.
The reason I talk so much about the “Kiev is the Mother of all Russian cities” myth is because it is very important to understand the essence of today’s hatred of certain members of the Ukrainian society towards everything Russian. It is this false idea that is at the core of their staunch belief that Russians are inferior, therefore, they – the real heirs of the ancient Kievan Rus, the real ‘Title Slavic culture’ – should be the richest, most prosperous and get all the influence and credit in world affairs. This kind of sick mentality can also be easily recognized from the hysterical speeches by Hitler and Goebbels; it is born of a severe inferiority complex. This kind of horribly low vibration is what those forces who want to control and destroy Ukraine, and then through Ukraine get to Russia, gladly latch on to.
But this myth would have never endured if Russians themselves didn’t parrot it, partly because of own ignorance and partly because of the Russian psyche’s unique quality of generosity – why not spread the wealth and make Ukrainians feel better about themselves. As we see, best intentions do lead to hell.
So why did the myth that Kiev is ‘the Mother of all Russian cities’ appear, and how did it gain traction? My theory is that the Russian Orthodox church played a role here, as Kiev is the seat of the very important orthodox Kiev-Pechorskaya Lavra monastery built about 700-800 years ago. Perhaps the myth of the Kiev as the mother of all Russian cities was necessary to raise the importance of the church. It’s interesting to note that in later years Moscow was referred to as the ‘Mother City,’ in my opinion because this is where the Orthodox headquarters moved around 14-15th century. So, it’s very possible that the title of the ‘Mother City’ was simply given to any city that played a role of the Orthodox Christianity’s headquarters of the Russian realm at any given moment, but later the real meaning was forgotten or deliberately distorted. This is the most logical explanation, however, sadly humans tend to lose the historic chain of events and reasoning. Of course, a large role here played the fact that so many Russian chronicles  that could have confirmed this, were destroyed.
The ‘Kiev is the Mother of all Russia’ theory doesn’t hold water however you look at it, and it is obviously politically motivated.
Either way, this is a myth that unfortunately became so pervasive that it infected the psyche of Ukrainians with jealousy and resentment towards Moscow and Russia. How come, say Ukrainians, WE are the most important, WE were the true beginning of the Russian civilization, and meanwhile Moscow gets credit for everything? OUR Ukrainian language was the mother tongue (not true), while Russian had been the derivative; so how dare Russian claims the status of one of the great languages, and Ukrainian doesn’t!
In reality, the modern Ukrainian language is in large part an artificially created language with the kind help of the above-mentioned Polish intellectuals. It is also a mixed language, with lots of words borrowed from Polish, Hungarian, Latin, and other languages, after years as part of different countries and as a deliberate attempt to distance Ukrainian from Russian.
Related complaint from Ukraine: how come Moscow/Russia are doing so well, and we are not?
Add to that twisted historic resentment this, more recent envy: how come Russia has all the resources, such as oil, gas and huge territory, and we only have coal? The fact that Russia always shared all her resources more than generously, the fact that Ukraine always paid a highly discounted price for gas and oil, that Russia subsidised and supported Ukrainian economy… matters not.
This, in short, is the sad story of the anti-Russian hatred in Ukraine and its falsified history.
Of course, there are normal people in Ukraine as well, but they are being intimidated, suppressed and silenced. For example, Ukraine has just had the premature elections into Rada. Due to intimidation, threats and open persecution by the government and ukro-fascist mobs, the only candidates able to run are all shades of fascists and the ultra-right. The centrist Party of the Regions candidates could only run if they changed colors, and even then, they probably would be thrown out because of the new ‘Lustration law,’ which is somewhere between the McCarthyism/the 1950s US Witch Hunts and Hitler’s Final Solution.
Meanwhile, all left parties have been banished from the Rada. Communist party members were beaten in the Rada and their parliament faction was disbanded for trying to draw attention to the plight of the peaceful population in Donbass. The members of the Communist Rada faction are in hiding because many of their houses were burned down and families physically threatened. The Progressive Socialist Party also is practically in hiding – I mentioned the head of this party, Natalia Vitrenko, above. She says that she has been completely shut off from any media and the only means she has left of delivering her message is YouTube. All this because she tells the truth. Video in which angry mob in Kiev dumps a Rada deputy in a dumpster and threatens to set him on fire. Another video in which angry ukro-nazis are demolishing a monument to Lenin, whom they should in fact admire as the Father of their nation (this video is by a German citizen who speaks Russian).
However, what is happening in Ukraine today, just like any violent aggression and suppression, can’t last forever. We are living through a revolutionary period when truth is bound to come out everywhere. Every suppressed truth will be breaking through the layers of lies and illusion throughout this decade. Truth will be blooming and illuminating the world with a vengeance after the many years of obscurity. Don’t be afraid of this light – embrace it!
