We are starting a new LADA RAY RECOMMENDS series on Lada Ray YT channel. Usually, posts in this series will be in English, or with English subs. Sometimes, we may have Spanish or German translations. We will also have some pieces in Russian. The views expressed in such pieces may not coincide with Lada’s own, but we think they are interesting or valuable and are worth hearing. Any comments can be left here on FT, as discussion will be disabled on YouTube. Let’s see how it goes with this trial run.

This controversial piece gives a lot of food for thought.
Philosopher Slavoj Žižek, former Greek finance minister Yanis Varoufakis, and Wikileaks founder Julian Assange discuss Europe’s future. With the recent economic crisis in Greece, unprecedented challenges to centralised European policy, and the lack of consensus on the ongoing refugee crisis, many would agree that Europe faces its greatest ever predicament. Slavoj Žižek, regarded as ‘the most dangerous philosopher in the West’ (The New Republic), and Yanis Varoufakis, self-described ‘erratic Marxist’ and economic ‘rock-star’ (Business Insider and other publications), met in Croatia in 2013. They have never appeared together on the public stage – until now. Take your seat to hear them discuss the urgent task of building a different and more democratic Europe. The conversation explores the contradictions of late capitalism and some of the solutions that might just save the European project. It is moderated by Croatian philosopher Srecko Horvat.

I very rarely post videos with direct weapons usage on my blog. But this is one exception. I thought this impressive video was worth posting as it demonstrates clearly how the conflict in Syria is developing. It also shows that Russia is serious about both dealing with ISIL – Daesh and with showing who is in control of the situation.
In ESR5: SYRIA GAME CHANGER we’d discussed the surprise Russian cruise missile strikes from Caspian Sea. This is something new and it sends another signal. What is this signal, and what’s really going on around Syria and Turkey?
I have received many requests from readers to address what is happening and how to interpret that UK, Germany, US and others have sent troops and/or suddenly decided to bomb Syria. There are reports of the US bombing Syrian government troops (deaths reported) under the pretext of bombing Islamist ISIL/Daesh. On another note, Turkey began illegal ground invasion of Iraq, citing the ‘protection of Kurds’ and infuriating the Iraqi government.
All these aren’t isolated accidents. One of our readers suggested it reminded him of the 19th century Crimean War, where Turkey, UK, France and other Western powers ganged up on Russia.
To me it’s much more like the 1941-1945 Great War (Western: World War II). What do I mean? All to be explained in the upcoming ESR7!
The connections between all of the above, plus the downing of the Russian jet in Syria and Russian civilian plane’s bombing in Sinai Egypt, are clear. Together with what’s happening in Ukraine, Crimea, Moldova, Armenia, Turkey, Central Asia and the Balkans, these are all parts of the huge battle for the control of Eurasia. The biggest battles are fought in several historically volatile energy knots: Middle East, Balkans, and Caspian – Black Sea basins. All of these areas are in fact next to each other and are historically inter-connected.
I see them all as one large planetary tension center. Together they constitute the most vulnerable point, or what is called the ‘soft underbelly of Russia.’ In addition, these areas target the destabilization of China and India.
This is why the world’s biggest geopolitical and military shocks will continue in these parts, and this is why peace that we all hope for will be difficult to achieve in these parts for a while. In fact the crisis will deepen – it’ll get worse before it gets better.
As we have observed, the crisis has spilled into the most well-to-do and quiet areas of Europe in the form of the refugee crisis. But someone is orchestrating this crisis. If you think it’s Erdogan and Turkey – that’s only on the surface.
All this and more to be discussed in:

THE BATTLE FOR EURASIA!
Erdogan, Davutoglu & Ottoman Empire
Coming Sunday, December 13!
This new report should be treated as the continuation and logical progression of ESR5: SYRIA GAME CHANGER. It’ll pick up where the former left off.
It is also a logical development of ESR6: UKRAINE – NEW KHAZARIAN KHAGANATE?
THE BATTLE FOR EURASIA may become a new series of reports. We’ll see how my readers like this one. If you do enjoy it, please write testimonials on FT after you’ve read it, and perhaps in future ESRs I’ll be able to reveal the clandestine developments and convoluted games played in other important areas of Eurasia!
I plan to release ESR7 by the end of this week (early next week the very latest), so you all have plenty of time to read and digest it well before the holidays.
Let’s hope that nothing extremely terrible happens during this holiday season and we can at least relax and have a nice Christmas/New Year’s celebration with our families!
Erdogan promised he would resign, should Russia be able to prove that Turkey supported ISIL (Daesh) terrorists and was involved in ISIL oil scheme. This, of course, was no more than simple lip service.
Russian Defence Ministry is calling Erdogan’s bluff with undeniable proof, and there’s more where that came from.
Oops… Now it’s Erdogan’s turn to live up to his promise!
On another note, Russia has initiated a UN Security Council resolution regarding ISIL financing and Turkey. Let’s see how US dares to veto it, thus revealing whose side it’s really on.

THE BATTLE FOR EURASIA!
Erdogan, Davutoglu & Ottoman Empire
Coming Sunday, December 13!
Paris attack sites:
Bataclan concert venue, 50 boulevard Voltaire, 11th district – gun and suicide bomb attacks
Stade de France, St Denis, just north of Paris – explosions near venue as France played Germany in football friendly
From BBC: Busiest time
The attack on the 1,500-seat Bataclan hall was by far the deadliest of Friday night’s attacks. Gunmen opened fire on concert-goers watching US rock group Eagles of Death Metal. The event had been sold out.
The series of attacks not far from the Place de la Republique and the Place de la Bastille struck at the heart of the capital when cafes, bars and restaurants were at their busiest. Customers were singled out at venues including a pizza restaurant and a Cambodian restaurant.
The other target was the Stade de France, on the northern fringe of Paris, where President Hollande and 80,000 other spectators were watching a friendly international between France and Germany, with a TV audience of millions more. The president was whisked to safety after the first of three explosions just outside the venue to convene an emergency cabinet meeting. Three attackers were reportedly killed there.
As the extent of the bloodshed became clear, Mr Hollande went on national TV to announce a state of emergency for the first time in France since 2005. The decree enables the authorities to close public places and impose curfews and restrictions on the movement of traffic and people. Within an hour, security forces had stormed the concert hall and all four attackers there were dead. Three had blown themselves up and a fourth was shot dead by police. Another attacker was killed in a street in eastern Paris, reports said.
Speaking after arriving at the concert hall, President Hollande said the attackers would be fought “without mercy”. US President Barack Obama spoke of “an outrageous attempt to terrorise innocent civilians”. UK PM David Cameron said he was shocked and pledged to do “whatever we can to help”. Paris Mayor Ann Hidalgo announced that all schools, museums, libraries, gyms, swimming pools and markets would be shut on Saturday.
Image below: Spectators flooded the pitch of the Stade de France after the France v Germany football match as news of the attacks spread.
As of this hour, it appears there are at least 150 people dead in several coordinated Paris terror attacks. Western media already pinned it on ISIL and it was reported that at least one of the attackers supposedly yelled, ‘for Syria.’
First of all, RIP all the victims and deepest condolences to their families.
Unfortunately, the Paris events are a direct and easily predictable consequence of the NATO/US/West’s actions and meddling in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, as well as elsewhere in the Middle East. ISIL (aka, Daesh or ISIS) is staffed in big part by former Saddam Hussein’s officers, who are Sunnis and who had been dismissed by the US after they took over Iraq. The rest of ISIL is formed from the armed opposition left over after Libya was destroyed by NATO (including French) strikes, parts of Al Qaeda, and other Islamist rebels financed by US, Saudis and Qatar.
Also, we never had the chance to officially say RIP to the 224 victims of the Russian Kogalymavia Airbus320 flight from Sinai, Egypt. From my FT team and myself personally: our most sincere condolences to the families of all victims.
I have some serious intel about who benefitted from blowing up the Russian Airbus320 in Sinai. An article is coming as soon as I get the chance.
The attacks in Paris and the Russian Egypt flight catastrophe are directly related to Syria, Assad and Russia’s successful anti-ISIL operation.
France has declared a state of emergency, closed down the airport and borders. This may signal the turnaround in the EU’s policy of open borders. This also may signal a turnaround of the EU policies towards refugees and migrants that are flooding Europe.
The attacks in Paris, already blamed on ISIL and refugees, may trigger a tough response from the French government. The closure of other EU countries’ borders is also possible.
The most worrisome is that if it is classified as an attack on one of the NATO members, this may become the signal for NATO mobilization. We all know how much criticism NATO has drawn in recent years, some calling for its disbanding as an organisation that has outlived its usefulness. This is a perfect storm for NATO. Such situation may confirm their usefulness and provide justification for their existence. It appears that there is already a groundwork for such NATO mobilization being prepared by MSM and Obama.
Considering the above, the attacks in Paris may have been a false flag designed to provoke NATO mobilization. The attack on the Russian Airbus320 in Egypt may have been orchestrated for the same purpose, among others: to make NATO countries agree to mobilization and intensification of bombings of ISIL in Syria and Iraq.
These things are often designed to be multi-prong. This may have also been a warning to Hollande to toe the line. At the time of the attacks Hollande was at the stadium watching a match in close proximity to the explosions. Another thing that strikes me is that the match was between France and Germany. This effectively means that the warning was a hint to Germany to toe the line as well.
A similar warning took place previously when German plane Germanwings crashed in France. This happened immediately after Hollande and Merkel dared to defy the US in how they approached the Ukraine crisis, working with Russia on trying to stop war in Donbass. It also has to be noted that Russian plane blown up over Sinai was of the French manufacturer Airbus.
This effectively means the following:
After Russia’s successful bombing campaign in Syria, it was proven how ineffective (or how corrupt) the US/West’s bombings were. Thanks to Russian air support, Syrian army is now advancing on four directions at the same time, having gained control over half of the territory previously controlled by ISIL, with attack on their capital planned in the near future. Such miraculous turnaround was absolutely impossible to imagine just a few short weeks ago, before Russians went to Syria.
If it keeps up, Syria will be ISIL-free in a few months. I wrote in Earth Shift Report 5: SYRIA GAME CHANGER that Russian jets would squeeze US and NATO airforce planes out of Syrian airspace because they wouldn’t risk colliding directly with the Russians. And it has happened in the exact way predicted.
All Russia needs is for the US and West to get out of the way and let them do their job. This seemingly started happening with Obama/Kerry changing their rhetoric, talking negotiations and intel sharing. However, I fear that one thing is being said to Lavrov’s face and something entirely different behind the closed doors. I never thought that US/NATO/Pentagon would just accept the humiliation of being outplayed and sidetracked in Syria. They would do everything in their power to make Russia’s job as difficult as possible.
This possibility could arise out of Paris attacks. If NATO countries mobilize, NATO planes may crowd into the same air space as Russian planes, creating dangerous and volatile situations. To avoid collisions, they may insist on no-fly zones (remember Libya no-fly zone that led to the destruction of the country?). NATO airforce is completely ineffectual compared to the Russian airforce in a combat situation. However, I’m afraid they may be very effective at interfering/getting in the way of Russia doing her job.
And should any countries, such as France or Germany, attempt to conduct their own independent policies, they will be sent reminders.
The biggest concern of mine is that they may be able to tie up Russia’s hands in Syria, like they did in Ukraine, creating a zone of permanent frozen conflict and preventing Russia from resolving it. This will tie up Russian resources. It is undoubtedly one of the goals.
Besides, US still wants to unseat Assad and they are peeved that Syrian ‘moderate’ opposition is meeting in Moscow, discussing peaceful elections, new constitution and power sharing with Assad. Syrian opposition started sharing intel on ISIL locations with Russia and joining Assad’s army to fight the Islamists. In other words, Moscow managed to achieve in two months what the US/West couldn’t (or rather wouldn’t) in years.
There is another consideration why US and their NATO vassals desperately need to orchestrate a return. US is losing its grip on the Middle East, including Iraq, where they still have troops. Iraq government they themselves had brought to power, had created a joint Russia-Iran-Iraq anti-ISIL center in Baghdad. Somehow, US didn’t notice that at first. But when Iraq president and parliament tried to ask Russia for help in bombing ISIL on Iraq territory, US had a hysterical response. My prediction was that US wouldn’t let Iraqis ask for Russian help (read more in ESR5: Syria Game Changer). Iraqis are frustrated with the fact that US is not even trying to fight ISIL. US has to put them in their place. Mobilizing NATO could indirectly serve this purpose.
Worst case scenario: should US/NATO leaders turn out to be complete maniacs (and from what I am seeing, they may be), this can generate a situation of no return, leading to the new World War.
I thought I’d publish this warning. In truth, I believe that Putin and Lavrov will be able to defuse the situation and to create a more cooperative solution for all. Unfortunately, these two are the only adults in the room, with Western ‘leaders’ being not up to the task. However, hopefully, the sense of self-preservation of the Europeans will be enough to keep them on the side of reason.
On another note, personal attacks are taking place on Russian Defence Minister Sergey Shoygu and Sports Minister Vitaliy Mutko, together with the entire Russian sport. All these simultaneous attacks are designed to disorient, destabilize and tie up Russian resources, as well as to distract from real problems in the West, Middle East and Ukraine. I will talk about the latter attacks in the upcoming article.

First thing we all have to keep in mind is that Assad and Erdogan are personal enemies. They hate each other for a variety of reasons. They belong to very different branches of Islam. They represent diverging directions of the Middle Eastern tradition and thought. In everything they do they feel they get in each other’s way.
Turkey and Erdogan have behaved very un-neighborly towards Syria, and it’s understandable that Syrian leader has a grudge against Erdogan.
Turkey in fact is presently fighting a war on several fronts. That includes the internal war with the opposition fed by the West. Syria and Assad’s situation is very difficult, but Erdogan cannot be envied either.
All this is part of the huge karmic opening of old wounds and the beginning of the shift in the Middle East. There is no corner of the globe where the Earth Shift will not be felt, in some places more, in some less. It all depends on how much work the people of a specific region or country have done in the past to clean up their house. Some countries have gone in the past through some very hard, and at times, excruciating work to change their situation. Countries like that include China, Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. Other countries may have kept their house in relative order. Switzerland is one example. Such countries will go through the Earth Shift with relative ease.
However, the countries that failed to address their problems, simply sweeping them under the rug, will have to deal with a lot of turmoil. Such example is Ukraine. Many countries of the Middle East are also good examples.
The problems of the Middle East are magnified by the local rivalries, lack of acceptance of another’s point of view, and religious intolerance.
Therefore, while Assad himself may believe adamantly what he says, anything he says about Erdogan and Turkey has to be taken with a grain of salt.
This is not to say he is wrong.
But Assad, for one, is brewing in this soup of local rivalries, which often makes it hard, if not impossible, to see a bigger picture. And two, Assad remains a very experienced politician. Knowing his big interview with the Russian media would receive a wide international resonance, he obviously tried to stack the cards to his advantage.
Remember we had talked about targeted info dumps? This is one. More about it: Learn to Tell a Hoax from Targeted Info Dump. It’s not a hoax, but it’s a targeted and manipulated in a certain way message meant for specific audience.
Although this interview is given to the Russian media, the message isn’t necessarily meant for Russia, although I’m certain some Russian Middle East specialists are paying attention. But Russia is firmly in Assad’s corner.
It is meant mostly for the EU and some of the Middle Eastern countries, such as Egypt – the largest military power in the Middle East, which often provides the stabilizing element. Egypt powers that be also have a very serious beef with Muslim Brotherhood. The message is also possibly meant for Saudis and Israelis. Iran and Syria are likely on the same page, but it is a reminder for Iran as well. This info dump is meant to scare the recipients into making sure Turkey and Erdogan don’t gain more power. Basically, this is something that will make different powers work together on curbing Turkey’s ambitions.
Assad desperately needs Turkey to weaken. Turkey, together with US, has been training Syrian opposition militants and has been helping any force, including ISIL, that fights the Syrian government. Turkey has been sabotaging the Kurdish attempts to fight ISIL as well. The Kurds, spread around several Middle Eastern countries, want to reunite and demand their own state. They are perceived by Erdogan as a big problem. Therefore, anything Kurds do becomes automatically at odds with what Erdogan wants done.
The entire Middle Eastern scene is extremely convoluted and entangled. It’s simply brimming with controversy and confusion. Sometimes it looks like a war of all against everyone. In the geopolitical arena anyone is regarded with great distrust and suspicion and alliances change on a whim.
Erdogan is put in a very precarious position. Elections are coming. At the same time, Turkey has been housing 2 million Syrian refugees. These are the refugees that Erdogan is now delivering to the border with Greece and sending off to Europe.
Meanwhile, Turkey is trying to quell internal conflict that keeps flaring up. This conflict has its historic roots inside the country, in part because of Erdogan’s stance on Syria and Kurds. The Kurds themselves constantly remind Erdogan they want independence. But the internal conflict has outside sponsors. It flared up and spread after Erdogan and Putin agreed on Turkish Stream. The idea of these well-known outside forces is to create so much instability in Turkey that Turkish Stream would become impossible.
Turkey’s geopolitical position has always been considered super-valuable. But at this time of extreme Earth Shift, it is also a very precarious position, open to all the winds. Erdogan, both because of his policies and because of his geopolitical realities, is finding himself without allies. He gets criticised and attacked from all directions. As I said, he is fighting a war on several fronts.
For several centuries, the Ottoman Empire dominated the Middle East. People still remember that. They certainly don’t want the Turkish-based dominance back. This adds to the suspicion of Turkey. Under such circumstances Erdogan has to look for any sort of affinities and allies wherever he can find them.
There are several powers vying for the dominance in the Middle East: these are Turkey, Iran and Egypt, plus, Saudi Arabia. Saudis are the richest in the Middle East, and they still have the stigma of being USA’s ally, therefore being percieved as being supported by powerful sponsors, whether it’s true any more, or not. Saudis are good at political games, but their army, while very well equipped, isn’t good at fighting. They still have a lot of pull. Israel also has to be factored in, although it’s a different story.
Turkey and Erdogan do dream of dominating the Middle East. Does Erdogan want to increase his influence and re-create the old Ottoman empire in some form? Yes, to a degree, he does. But not necessarily the way Assad portrays it. For one I don’t know if Muslim Brotherhood is that likely to appoint Erdogan their leader, surrendering their power to him. Why would they? They exist as a set structure, with their own chain of command. The most they can do is agree on some sort of alliance.
But more than anything, Turkey wants to be a world player, be accepted on the world stage. Regardless of how Erdogan feels about Muslim Brotherhood, he is a politician first and foremost. In order to be a regional player, Turkey needs to have solid ties with EU, Russia and at least some of the key Middle Eastern countries. Erdogan is trying, but for him it’s one step forward and two backward. Erdogan, by some of his actions, has put himself in a way of confrontation and isolation. This will not create more influence for Turkey, just the opposite.
At the same time, Turkey’s geopolitical location is very important. Turkey is needed as a player, and as a factor. This is the desire of all major powers, including US, EU, Russia and China, because Turkey serves as a counterweight and a balancing factor in the region. But no one will allow Turkey to become a dominant force in the Middle East. Neither Russia, EU or US, nor the aforementioned Middle East players can afford that.
Therefore, it really is inconsequential whether Erdogan is or isn’t an intellectual ally of Muslim Brotherhood. Because of its very special geopolitical position Turkey serves as a bridge between East and West, but doesn’t control much of either.
Such situation suits all super-powers. Turkey is very valuable as a somewhat strong bridge-country, but not too strong. Turkey can do pin pricks to remind of its presence and to demand attention, such as interfering in Syria, sending refugees to the EU, delaying Turkish Stream, or pretending they won’t let US ships into the Black Sea. In the end Turkey always plays ball because that’s the extent of Turkey’s leash.
As a consequence, Turkey’s politics can only work within a certain narrow corridor. Turkish leader who doesn’t stay within this corridor, will not survive. Erdogan has tried to expand this corridor by conducting his own policies. It wasn’t very successful and he has reached the end of his leash.
There is another reason Erdogan is trying to align himself with someone – anyone. The Middle East is changing rapidly. The borders are still being held in place due to the 1945 agreements between USSR, US and UK. However, soon the borders in the Middle East and some other world regions will start crumbling as the new reality emerges.
ISIL, Muslim Brotherhood and dozens, if not hundreds, of other formations that are mushrooming in the Middle East try to grab as much land as they can. The states try to defend their borders, while at the same time attempt to grab what they can as well. Erdogan simply has to stay in the game because in that reality it’s eat or be eaten. He has to play the aggressive game of expansion, or his country will be contracting. He also has to account for contingencies.
This is beyond Erdogan and Turkey’s long-cherished imperial ambitions – it is the reality of survival. This kind of situation exists in some other regions of the world as well.
On different levels – be it social, financial, political or military – this scenario of rapid change and struggle to keep control of the situation is something facing now the majority of countries. Welcome to the Earth Shift!
Therefore, take with a grain of salt what anyone in the Middle East says. Again, this is not to say that Assad isn’t right. He says what he feels is true from his perspective. The entanglements of this region of the world are such that everyone is pulling the blanket onto themselves, touting their own agenda as the only correct one.
But the world leaders such as Putin need to be well above this regional fight; global geopolitical thinking is required. Russia is well-positioned to play a pacifying and balancing role in the Middle East. In fact, it’s the only country that can accomplish this feat.
More breaking stuff:
More news from the Middle East and Syria are coming. Things are shifting fast. The US stance on Assad, Syria and on ISIL is cracking due to Russia’s skillful diplomacy and strides to create anti-ISIL coalition. The international pressure on the US is growing. Some of the biggest pressure is coming from the EU experiencing an unheard of refugee crisis.
Vladimir Putin coming to speak at the UN General Assembly in a week is also a part of the surprise change in the US position. Generally speaking, Putin’s speech at the UNGA has become quite a phenomenon, acquiring a life of its own before it even happened. Putin hasn’t dropped that bomb on New York yet, but the aftermath of the future event is already bearing consequences. I’ll have more on all the developments this week and next. Stay tuned!
This is an interesting related bit, demonstrating just how successfully Russia has made strides in shaping up a coalition on Syria:

ISIL (ISIS) Destroys Priceless Cultural Heritage. Refugee Invasion of Europe. Middle East Predictions
The contents of the first video below is chilling. To me, the most gruesome part is the senseless and brutal destruction of local and worldwide heritage that IS (ISIL/ISIS) brings with them. They already destroyed the ancient cities of Palmyra and Nimrod. Some of the cities mercilessly destroyed and looted to the bone are UNESCO World Heritage sites, whose museums house priceless historic treasures of global significance.
But note what kind of cars and SUVs these armed to their teeth thugs are driving!
We all know who created these forces, deliberately, or just out of sheer stupidity: those who invaded and bombed Afghanistan and Iraq, who later destroyed Libya and who now is trying to destroy Syria. Those who in the ’70s trained Al Qaeda and Taliban to escalate tensions and lure the USSR into Afghanistan. Al Qaeda and others morphed into the so-called Islamic State (IS, aka ISIL), also financed and protected by the same Western forces.
Now we all have to pay the price for what they have done…
MIDDLE EAST PREDICTIONS
To answer a recent remark/question by a reader, whether the Middle East is calming down and the geopolitical battleground is being moved to the Black Sea area.
Can’t say anything comforting, sorry.
Yes, the geopolitical ground zero is spreading to the entire Black Sea – Eastern Mediterranean area, but there is no calming down of the Middle East at all. I predict further escalation of the Middle East tensions and further destructions and spreading of IS. We are nowhere near the end. The situation in the Middle East will continue spiraling out of control and it will be very difficult to calm it down for years. There are too many unresolved issues that will continue coming up as more and more truth and injustices are revealed. The injustices and truth have been suppressed in the Middle East for too long. The whole huge region is simply sizzling and cooking in controversy and painfully bleeding sores. It is very far from the end – it’s just the beginning.
It’ll only end after the very deep-seated internal problems of the Middle East have been resolved.
People of the no man’s land:
One of the problems is the refugee crisis, when hundreds of thousands from Syria, Libya and other countries of the Middle East try to reach EU. The most recent scandal is on the border of Greece and Macedonia. After thousands of refugees attempted to cross by trains from Greece to Macedonia as the most convenient bridge to the rest of the EU, Macedonia deployed army and police to the border to prevent that (so much for the EU policy of open borders). Similar situation recently happened at the la Manche tunnel connecting UK and France.
Presently, crowds of refugees are camping out on the border between Greece and Macedonia. Videos:
We are at a point when EU has no idea how to handle the crisis they helped generate.
The heads of the EU are proposing the following. Why not relocate 100,000 of no man’s land refugees from Greece to…. Ukraine. I’m not kidding, this is the official proposal on the table!
These refugees from Africa are hard-working people, say the authors of the proposal. There are many abandoned or decaying villages in central and western Ukraine. Why not resettle these refugees in those villages, they will rebuild the villages and work the land. Everyone will be happy. Ukraine is trying to join EU, why don’t they start showing their loyalty by helping out and alleviating the EU burden. We are talking about Ukraine here, the country in pre-default state and in the middle of a civil war!
First, let me introduce you to this post on the Way of the Love Blog: THIS IS ABSOLUTELY APPALLING & AMERICANS, YOU NEED TO TAKE NOTE! In it, Nancy says:
“Russia, President Putin, and her people constructed this beautiful 100 ft. teardrop monument in memory of those killed on 9/11… shipped it to America in huge segments … the artist came too to oversee its compilation and erection … the Russian people paid for it out of private funds.
The Zionist controlled US media gives the beautiful memorial, dedicated by Putin, a total silent treatment. The monument is barely known, even among local residents of Bayonne [where it is located]! … The base of the monument is surrounded by a marble wall with the names of the 3000 victims engraved in alphabetical order.” IT WAS GIFT FROM RUSSIA ON THE 5TH ANNIVERSARY OF 9/11, THUS 2004, & AMERICANS STILL DON’T KNOW IT EXISTS!!!!!!
THIS IS AN ALMOST UNBELIEVABLE EXAMPLE OF HOW AMERICANS ARE MANIPULATED & MIND CONTROLLED!!!!”
Thanks, Nancy, for posting this, and for caring. I can add a few facts and thoughts.
The monument was constructed by Zurab Tsereteli. He is most known for the gigantic sculpture of Peter the Great standing on his ship on Moscow’s Moskva River embankment, also installed in the early 2000s. It is located across from the iconic Christ the Savior Cathedral, rebuilt in the 1990s. Christ the Savior is the seat of the Russian Orthodox Church.
Tsereteli is known for his gigantic works. Many at the time argued that the giant Peter statue, dwarfing nearby structures, was too huge and therefore would disrupt the carefully preserved historic skyline. However, after years of argument it has become a well-recognized integral part of Moscow. Something similar once happened to the Eiffel Tower.
Living and working between NYC and NJ, I knew about the sculpture being sent to the US as a gift. The problems started right away. New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani didn’t want to accept the gift, saying there was no place to put it. Some were saying the monument was ugly. I am looking at it and I am very sensitive to any ugliness or falsehood. I do not see anything objectionable in it. I actually think it’s very appropriate for the occasion. However, the debates went on and finally they decided to place it on the NJ side’s river bank, overlooking Manhattan. As Nancy pointed out, the place is such that it’s absolutely hidden from view from any roads and it’s not marked on any maps. Most of NJ is gentrified and very expensive, except a few depressed slums, industrial and highly polluted areas. The city of Bayonne is one of those areas, polluted since early industrial age. The impression was that they hid the monument in a place where they knew no one would go, on a piece of land that was basically worthless (well, they did clean it up a little to install the monument).
I would venture to say that the US attitude at the time towards the Russian people’s sincere gift was one of those last straws that eventually broke the camel’s back. Such attitude convinced even the most naive Russians that there was no way of reasoning with the US.
Incidentally, after 9/11, Putin was the first head of state who called Bush to express his condolences for the loss of life. Very few remember this, but that was the time when Putin was trumpeted in the US media is something akin to the messiah of Russia and American elites’ best friend. Keep reading to find out why it was and what happened next.
At the time, I worked at one of Smith Barney’s branches in NJ. I had a lot of clients and friends who were directly or indirectly touched by the 9/11 tragedy. For us it wasn’t just something in the news – we lived it, and my memory is still vivid.
As a matter of fact, the morning of 9/11 I was supposed meet with a client, whose office was in the former Century 21 building (those who are familiar with pre-9/11 New York would know what I am talking about). It was a building directly across the street from the Twin Towers. I was supposed to meet with her at 9 am. She cancelled the day before, saying she needed to fix some problems at home. She didn’t show for work and I didn’t take the Path Train, which terminated in the basement of the Twin Towers. We both avoided a very close brush with 9/11.
I remember how after the tragedy we all felt sorrowful and indignant at the nonsensical loss of life and destruction in the heart of New York, where till then we all felt safe.
For years, I couldn’t look in the direction where Twin Towers used to be. Walking anywhere in Manhattan where before I’d have a view of the towers, I would purposefully look the other way. Only once I went to the vicinity of Ground Zero. Despite all the usual surrounding noise and Manhattan’s frantic traffic, the place was filled with eerie energetic silence. The energy there was dark and dense with sorrow, as if all life was sucked out of it. I never since went back and told my client that we could meet anywhere else but there.
The place has since been re-built, but I still avoid it. There is nothing for me there; nothing is left of the place I remember. To give you an idea, the calibration of the 9/11 Ground Zero area is presently: 85 – grief.
At the time, for work I still watched CNBC and followed other financial MSM. After Putin came out with his condolences, CNBC hosts were saying, ‘This guy is just brilliant, he doesn’t miss a beat.’ Putin was en vogue on Wall Street and those who pulled the strings actually thought they had just acquired one more willing American vassal.
I know for a fact that Putin and Russians felt very sincere sympathy towards the American people after 9/11, having perceived it as a real terrorist attack. As usual for Russians, they attempted to establish a bridge based on common interests – fighting terrorism.
Russia at the time just started recovering after the tragic and debilitating civil war in Chechnya, which only Putin was able to turn around. It was well-known that Al Qaeda and imported Islamic extremists were behind most terrorist acts Russia went through at the time. They honestly thought that Russia and US could be allies in fighting the mushrooming global terrorism. Putin tried to extend a hand and make a sincere gesture.
Of course, Russian leadership knew that US was in fact behind the creation and financing of these Islamic extremist organizations that infiltrated Caucasus to wreak havoc. But it was hoped at the time that since US also suffered a terrorist attack, it would influence the US leadership to change their mind against continuing to vilify Russia; that it would redirect bylateral relations towards cooperating in the fight against Islamic terrorism.
This goal was partially achieved. After 9/11 and sympathetic Russian response, US had no choice but to stop trumpeting Chechen terrorists as freedom fighters, and began labeling them as terrorists.
As a result of the US support withdrawal, terrorist acts in Caucasus and elsewhere in Russia slowly diminished and almost disapeared in time. This essentially confirmed for everyone how much such extremist organizations rely on US support. It also confirmed that without US support they couldn’t exist in the magnitude we are observing now.
Of course, later it came out that the whole 9/11 thing was an inside job created in order to drag the populations of US, UK and the West into the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
If US was able to sneak in Afghanistan invasion when the world was still in shock over 9/11, the Iraq caused huge resistance all over the world. The US went in anyway, thus completely destroying the international relations checks and balances of the past 50+ years. It went into Iraq over the objections of the UN, Security Council veto, and protests of its own allies.
The entire plan for the Middle East blitzkrieg takeover, akin to the German Nazi Plan Barbarossa, included 7 countries. If you recall, I once posted a video of how US Gen. Wesley Clark revealed this plan in 2007. I also had a later video with the same Gen. Clark being very tight-lipped when asked about it. I remember thinking at the time that they got to him. I recently heard the same Gen. Clark saying just the opposite of what he used to say. Perhaps, Gen. Clark got his price.
Both videos are here: Vladimir Putin’s Message: Part 2
What were the 7 countries US was supposed to invade to ensure its continuing world dominance? These included: Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Libya, Somalia and Sudan.
The Middle East was sent the message: either submit and stay obedient slaves of the US, or you will be conquered. However, not all went according to plan. Some of the obedient Western vassals, such as France and Germany, became squeamish, so the ‘coalition of the willing’ turned out a little skimpy.
But most importantly, there was the factor of Russia and Putin. Putin played it perfectly, by being a good boy the West would love… until his power in the country consolidated, and Russia got strong enough.
People often ask me how and why did they let Putin come to power and stay in power, if he was such a threat to them? The answer in short: they simply didn’t see it coming. This was the brilliance of Putin and those who brought him to power – they counted on the outward appearances being such as to fool their adversaries, until it was time for Putin to act.
Those who aren’t very profound thinkers mistook that for Putin being part of NWO. This hoax had been circulating till very recently, until I dispelled it in IS PUTIN PART OF NWO?
This is the answer in short. The long and much deeper answer is coming in the THE PUTIN ENIGMA.
THE PUTIN ENIGMA Earth Shift Report is coming later in the year (Sorry everyone for the delay. It takes a long time to mastermind and write any Earth Shift Report. It’s partially done. I will finish it as soon as I have a long enough stretch of time to do so).
The Middle East was and continues being one of the two most important geopolitical pressure points of our planet, the other one being the Black Sea/Ukraine/Eastern Mediterranean area. Both fault lines are located next to each other, overlapping and interacting closely.
While the Middle East is mainly about oil, containing of China and Russia, and creating as much chaos as possible on the planet, the Black Sea-Eastern Mediterranean stretch is about the dominion over Europe, attempting to weaken and destroy Russia and Russia’s allies, preventing China from building the New Silk Road, as well as European gas and oil arteries.
The fight over lifelines (the old trade routes are now the pipelines) going through these same areas is very old. Both pressure points are about the life or death of the dollar-based system and about who will control Eurasia. Because, as we know, he who controls Eurasia, controls the world.
I said this before and I’ll say it again: This is why it is absolutely crucial for Eurasia to unite. It is only because of petty resentments and divisions that they are able to manipulate people into wars. People cannot be manipulated when they calibrate on the level 200 or better. Manipulation becomes a non-issue when anger, jealousy and resentment in human relations are discarded, being replaced with cooperation, good will, acceptance and reason.

Dr. Paul Craig Roberts is called one of the top ten living economists. He has recently become an outspoken critic of the madness of Washington’s policies. Dr Roberts is in total agreement with Marc Faber and Ron Paul – and so am I – about how QE3 will play out. And it is especially interesting what he has to say about Russia, Putin and US interference in Russian and Chinese affairs. As a matter of fact, his words could have easily been my words.
Thank you, Dr. Roberts! Finally, one sane view from an American on Putin: “He is not a dictator, but an elected official with massive support. Western media lies about everything, why would you believe them about Putin?” WELL SAID!
A very valuable interview! Have a listen!

US Presidential Elections are on November 6, 2012. On January 11, I posted my original predictions for 2012, including the so-called Year of Elections, namely my predictions for USA, Russia, and France.
Here’s what I said regarding US Presidential Elections:
“Republicans will pick Romney, who is perceived as the man of the middle, and therefore, appears a safe bet. And Romney will NOT beat Obama. In short, USA will remain sharply divided along partisan lines. Obama will narrowly win another 4-year term.
Meanwhile, various protests will continue and intensify. Emergence of a third party is very possible, fueled with disillusionment with the establishment and election results.”
Read my original Year 2012 Predictions
As usual, I want to remind everyone that I am a ‘political atheist’ and do not participate in any political party. My predictions and analysis are based on logic, facts, intuition, my knowledge of world cultures and geopolitical trends, long-time experience as financial consultant and investor, and Chinese Theory of Long Cycles.
More about me in ‘About.’
So far: Russia and France voted exactly as I originally predicted on 1/11/12, GOP nominated Romney, and there are clearly 3rd parties emerging in the USA. Two Third Party Presidential debates are being hosted by Larry King and aired by RT America. First debate took place several days ago between 4 alternative party candidates, incl., Green, Constitutional and Libertarian, and is available on Youtube; second debate on foreign policy will air and be posted on Youtube on 10/30. Very educational, by the way, and a great illustration of what’s going on beyond mainstream media. I urge everyone to watch! Check back in a day or two, I might most the Youtube links to both right here, or go to Youtube and do a search. If your cable carries RT America or RT, you can see it on TV.
Upcoming US Presidential Elections: no change from the original 1/11/12 prediction! Obama wins narrowly, with less than 5%, possibly, less than 3% advantage.
It is interesting to note that, while in the USA the vote will be very close, abroad it’s not even a contest between the two candidates. Based on polls from over 20 countries, Romney gets more support only in Pakistan, which is attributed to the Pakistanis’ irritation with deadly drone strikes, not so much to their preference of a specific candidate. Most countries have Romney in single digits, with Western Europe, especially France, favoring Obama by the widest margin.
My prediction: while Obama is far from ideal, no world leader (except, perhaps Israel’s Netanyahu) wants Romney as US President, in fact he scares everyone with his bellicose posturing. Foreign perception is that his rhetoric, lack of reason and restraint (as well as lack of understanding and knowledge of international affairs) would make his presidency into Bush 2.0. By the way, this is also the perception of much of the international investment community – and international investment community is seldom wrong.
It is naive to think that American elections happen in a vacuum. In our globalized and interconnected world, it should not be underestimated how much influence other countries and global community hold over any country’s policy and elections. In fact, I noticed that global opinion (don’t confuse that with the US media propaganda) is the most accurate barometer of presidential election results in any country. For example, international community at large (excluding USA and UK) wanted Russia’s Putin to win (of course, there really was no contest anyway). In France, both the country’s and international perception were against Sarkozy, and sure enough – he lost.
Other interesting cases include Italy’s Berlusconi resignation from his post as Prime Minister (in part due to international pressure), and Hugo Chavez winning recent Venezuelan elections despite his cancer, absence from the political scene, and despite having to compete against a young, strong and very charismatic right-wing candidate. Chavez managed to generate a very broad international support – that’s the secret of his success! Assad of Syria is another prominent example of foreign influence. By the way, I received questions from my readers regarding the future of Assad, as well as the situation in the Middle East at large and I intend to cover it soon in one of the future articles.
P.S. For those who pay attention to astrology: From the astrological perspective, US Elections 2012 are taking place during the start of Mercury Retrograde, infamous among astrologers for introducing confusion, delays and misunderstandings, as well as mistakes in documents and broken machinery/electronics. A friend-astrologer of mine who read my article, just reminded me that the last time the US Elections happened during Mercury Retrograde, in 2000, the confusion resulted in the Supreme Court choosing the winner, George Bush, with controversy continuing to this day. US Presidential Elections on November 6, 2012, may be just as confusing and messy (if not more so), with possible mistakes, lost or contested results. Double check everything while voting.
11/1 Update. This is from my comment (to read more click on ‘comments’):
“To our discussion about the Hurricane Sandy factor: I believe the hurricane will ultimately help Obama, like 9/11 helped Bush. The nation tends to rally behind the President in times of disaster, and the opposing party has no choice but to mute its rhetoric, because the alternative might backfire on that party. I know, this is pretty awful that we need a disaster to feel more united, but here it is.”
Update 11/2: Hurricane Sandy will also temporarily stimulate the economy and the stock market, once more postponing the inevitable recession/depression. Much will have to be rebuilt, and the government will again turn on its virtual printing presses, happily throwing money they don’t have left and right. But the key word here is “temporarily.” No nation in the history of the world could run on debt indefinitely, without having to eventually face the gruesome reality. USA is no exception.
Read my other articles/predictions regarding the elections in Russia, France and USA.
I will be posting a follow up after the US elections, including my new predictions regarding the very important for the Eurozone, German Chancellor Elections 2013, and Angela Merkel‘s chances to be re-elected.
Many have asked me to expand my predictions and talk about the future of financial markets, economic outlook for various countries and continents, as well as the future of world peace. I will try to post more of my predictions going forward. Stay tuned!
