The Polish Sejm (Parliament) has just passed a law ordering the destruction of Soviet war memorials throughout Poland. The Soviet Army liberated Poland after years of …
Yes, of course I know about this. This is one of the most sickening things I have observed in a very long time.
There are some details in my earlier BIG article/report discussing Putin – Trump G20 meeting: G20, Putin, Trump, Ivanka, Merkel, Xi, BRICS: Lada Ray Quantum Calibrations and Predictions. That report talks, among other things, about Trump’s trip to Poland in the course of which he was terribly laudatory of Poland rewriting history, and even helped them re-write history a bit in his own speech given to the Polish audience. The unfortunate truth is that in addition to being in a custom-made ‘straitjacket,’ Trump is extremely ignorant when history, and so many other things are concerned; therefore, it’s very easy to saddle him with any speech, or seduce him to make any move that someone with ulterior motives may want him to do.
As I predicted in this report, Trump’s utter ignorance of Polish true motives, multiplied by arrogance and insensitivity to other countries ended up costing him ANY cooperation from Russia he might have hoped for after his meeting with Putin at G20. In this one silly visit to Poland he simply crossed good relations with Russia off the agenda completely. But that’s what Dark State wanted to achieve, as discussed in the same article — and they did. What do you expect of US presidents, or should we say, figureheads, who, because of their utter ignorance and arrogance are so daft that they are too easy to bend to the will of those who hide in the shadows. Just look at Trump ‘inventing’ a new country in Africa during his UN Africa speech a few days ago: ‘Nambia.’ He repeatedly, and very embarrassingly said ‘Nambia,’ and everyone just ate it up. There is no Nambia, but there is a country in Africa called Namibia. My dear American readers, just know that all those African leaders who have politely listened to how well democracy is developing in ‘Nambia,’ will come home and have a good laugh at how ignorant and arrogant Americans are. As Vladimir Putin so aptly put recently, it’s Hard to work with people who confuse Austria and Australia.
And read the big report in question: G20, Putin, Trump, Ivanka, Merkel, Xi, BRICS: Lada Ray Quantum Calibrations and Predictions! For Poland episode look for subtitle TRUMP’S FAUX PAS IN POLAND. Also in the comment section of that article you’ll find extensive exchange with some Polish trolls — the trolls have been banned, but I kept the exchange for educational purposes. In the same comment section you should also find my answers to readers’ questions about Poland.
What is happening in Poland?
Simply put, as I predicted since 2014, and for that at the time I was also attacked by Polish shills: Poland has successfully turned into a bona fide Euro-fascist state.
Starting on October 1, 2017, Poland begins the wholesale destruction of over 500 memorials to WWII Russian/Soviet liberators of Poland from the Nazi Germany in 1944! This includes graves of all those poor soldiers and officers who gave their lives for that inhospitable country! Overall, several hundred thousand Soviet soldiers died liberating Poland. I have heard the numbers between 400,000 and 600,000.
In reality, a gradual desecration and destruction of Russian memorials, monuments and soldiers’ graves all over Poland has been ongoing for a long time. They never dared to do it officially, until they got an OK from the big boss across the Big Pond. This new move by the Polish government sanctifies the wholesale demolition of memory, history, truth and common decency! Poland, just like Ukraine, is in the process of re-writing history, where black is to become white, and vice versa.
Russians have been very upset about this for months, and Russia has downgraded diplomatic relations with Poland.
To be absolutely clear, Poland was one of Hitler’s early allies, and together with Nazi Germany it occupied Czechoslovakia before WWII has even begun. Per Nikolay Starikov’s extensive historic research, greedy and ultra-nationalistic Polish government got into a fight with Hitler. The issue appears to have been that Hitler requested free passage for his troops through Poland in order to attack Russia/USSR, but Poland, it appears, wanted bigger spoils than Hitler was ready to offer. As a result Hitler simply took over Poland in 1939. This move by Hitler is officially considered the start of WWII. Poland’s government fled to Romania, where it vanished(!) without a trace, and after some time, a completely different, self-appointed ‘Polish government in exile’ suddenly emerged in London. Poland as a country seized to exist the day the government fled and the country surrendered without a fight to Hitler.
About two weeks after Poland seized to exist as a country, Stalin ordered to retake territories that were ancestral Russian lands, but that ended up in Poland’s possession after 1917 Russian Revolution. These territories, which now constitute western Belarus and western Ukraine, were judged to be Russian ancestral lands stolen from Russia. However, in this case, there was another urgent reason: when country after country succumbed without a fight to Nazi invasion, The USSR wanted to create a buffer between core Russian/Ukrainian territories and potential attacker in the face of Germany.
In the course of WWII, from the aggressor it really was, Poland smoothly morphed into a poor victim, claiming this status after the end of WWII with the blessing of the USSR, which for geopolitical reasons wanted to keep Poland in its corner. All of Poland’s true evil deeds were hushed up and the USSR turned a blind eye to what Poland really was. For that reason, the USSR for years swept under the carpet some extremely gruesome facts, such as Poland executing at least 240,000 Russian/Soviet soldiers and POWs! This is in addition to several hundred thousand Soviet liberators that perished liberating Poland in 1944! The documents concerning mass executions of Russians by Poland (that’s apart from how many Russian POWs were executed by Nazi Germany and how many of them perished in Auschwitz and other death camps!) have only recently been de-classified, and now they begin emerging. Needless to say, they have shocked Russians, who were led to believe a very different version of history, including the one where 20 thousand Polish troops were executed by NKVD. As it also emerged relatively recently, this was a lie, implanted in documents during Gorbachev’s times. Gorbachev publicly admitted Russian fault and apologized for it to Poland, which caused Poland to escalate animosity and implant hatred of everything Russian in the Polish psyche. As it is now known, it was western Ukraine Bandera ukro-nazis dressed in NKVD uniforms who executed about 16,000 Polish troops, in concert with Nazi Germans.
There are many more extremely uncomfortable facts, such as Polish extreme racism and xenophobia, which I observed first-hand during my 4 visits to Poland. They were always very nice to me, calling me ‘pentna pani’ (pretty woman) – no personal complaints whatsoever. But at the time I was in Poland it was still a part of the socialist camp and it was fashionable to like Russians and have them as friends. However, during my visit, I saw with my very eyes how a huge mob of Poles bullied and beat up one poor black guy, who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. The fact is that latent Polish racism, xenophobia and natural inclination towards Nazism have never disappeared. These life-threatening low calibration phenomena just take different forms and are directed against new imaginary enemies, depending on who gives orders in Warsaw — and to Warsaw.
Today, they hate everyone, but first and foremost, Russia is enemy No. 1. Guess what, this is why their American bosses pay them big bucks: barking at Russia and escalating tension and conflict on EU’s eastern borders.
Poland is a subservient vassal of the US. The reason constant tension is necessary is to keep the EU together and united against one common enemy, which is Russia, of course. Otherwise, the EU would fall apart much faster. And another reason, connected to the first: US must keep EU subservient and dependent on US bases and weapons. If there really is no Russian threat, then US bases and US troops can go home, can’t they? Then there is no need for NATO, right? And finally, the US Military-Industrial Complex will lose lucrative European market and go bankrupt, won’t it? They can’t let any of this happen, can they? Poland loves to scream about independence and ‘gonor’ (pride). But in reality they always were a quintessential for-sale-country — to anyone who pays them most.
In addition to all the above, I recently learned about another disgusting development: there is a movement gaining traction in Poland, called ‘the good Ukrainian is a dead Ukrainian.’ Poles are called on killing migrant workers from Ukraine. As I said, Poland is essentially a camouflaged fascist state, although it likes to pretend it’s a victim.
So yes, I know very well about the destruction of over 500 monuments to Soviet soldiers, liberators of Poland. The destruction is supposed to begin on October 1, 2017. However, vandalism and destruction of Russian monuments and Russian churches has been going on in Poland for a long time.
This is such a disgusting and sickening subject that I didn’t want to bring it up on my blog again, following a brief mention in the above-referenced initial article on Putin-Trump G20 meeting. I am only doing this for clarification purposes, per reader request.
Frankly, I also am extremely disgusted about Polish shills and trolls. I really, really didn’t want to go there, but I guess I have to:
A WARNING TO POLISH TROLLS! Any POLISH OR OTHER shill/troll will be immediately outed, all of such troll’s personal info will be publicly exposed, if necessary, EU and/or corresponding country’s authorities will be contacted, and of course such shill/troll will be immediately banned — PER BLOG RULES!

I have received multiple requests to share those Russian analysts and sources that I listen to and recommend in the area of geopolitics and economy. One of the readers who has asked this question is our commenter extraordinaire, Paul. His comment and my initial reply with more info can be found here.
My recommendations are based on several factors: 1. How well any given analyst sees the big picture, without succumbing to small and negative emotions, which would taint and distort said big picture. 2. How profoundly this person knows and understands the global geopolitical/economic issues and hidden processes that move the global, Eurasian and Russian society. 3. How interesting it is to listen to this person. 4. How balanced he is (yes, unfortunately, all today’s recommendations are males – will that change soon?). 5. How well can he forecast and/or predict the future. As a geopolitical analyst who is also profoundly psychic and clairvoyant and boasting of a number of accurate global predictions, for me this is an important criteria. You’ll be surprised how many analysts cannot predict the future or gauge it accurately, despite their analysis being basically on target.
Keep in mind, all those listed below have their specialty and angle of view (as I do), so my recommendation doesn’t mean I 100% agree, nor that I necessarily endorse, what they say. If there is an interest in my thoughts on any specific statements by anyone mentioned, we can certainly discuss that in an audio interview.
Wherever possible I also provide relevant links.
Top 2 analysts I recommend highly:
YT link: Nikolay Starikov. Bestselling geopolitical author, head of the new Russian Party Velikoe Otechestvo. Excellent geopolitical knowledge, very accessible and easy to understand for an average listener and pro alike, great story-teller, does a lot of talks, many in book stores. I have a link to Starikov’s site on my Resources page. Here is also a very good talk by Starikov in Bratislava, Slovakia: Democracy and the Roots of Terrorism. Russian patriot, his views are those of a Russia-centric statesman. In that we differ somewhat, as I view all the processes in the world from the point of view of what is best for the Earth and mankind in general. However, as Russia and mankind’s interests largely coincide, I highly recommend Starikov as another angle and good addition to much of what I say. I usually listen to his talks.
Prof. Sergei Glazyev, advisor to President Putin. He is excellent when it comes mainly to economic and geo-economic analysis – very lucid, deep understanding of the big picture, as well as specific issues and practical ways of solving them. Here is a post on FuturisTrendcast which refers to his article: Putin’s Advisor Sergei Glazyev on Eurofascism. Did Russia and China Lose Propaganda War to the US?
YT link: Anatoly Vasserman. Very highly recommended as analyst, always keeps sight of the big picture. Unlike most others, manages to predict accurately, which shows a great deal of visionary clairvoyance – thus earning a high mark from me. Intellectual, considered one of the smartest people alive, with deep and clear knowledge and wisdom. Interesting to listen to. Jewish from Odessa (the city of my childhood), he is also a futurist with some very interesting ideas of the society of the future, based on advanced forms of socialism.
News of the Slavs with Evgeny Novikov at кРАмола инфо. From Minsk, Belarus. Succinct, 10 minute weekly YT program with analytical overview/opinion on major Russian/global issues. Novikov is a very good political commentator. I always listen.
Prof. Andrey Fursov. Very good analyst, a bit dry. Here is his latest video: Андрей Фурсов – Правда и ложь СМИ. (The MSM truth and lies).
Prof. Valentin Kasatonov. He’s geopolitical economist, mostly academic. Explains well in a detached way. Here’s his latest video analysis about the Russian economy, ruble slide, Western finanical system, FED.
YT link: Mikhail Zadornov. He is actually a comedian turned thinker/analytical comedian, if you will. I like him; he is, when appropriate, wise or funny, gloomy or – mostly – upbeat. In other words, he is balanced; good for those who are interested in distortions of Russian history and holistic (Rus: vedicheskiy – ‘Vedic’) way of life. He isn’t an analyst per se, but a good barometer of the Russian society in general on a balanced, yet critical side. I usually watch his weekly show Neformat to keep on top of that side of things.
The above recommendations complement what I usually talk about. In this regard, those who like my style and things I discuss relative to Russia, Eurasia, the West, forbidden history and liguistics, geopolitics and predictions may also find these helpful.
Some may also like:
Vladimir Zhirinovsky – Head of the Liberal Democratic Party, Deputy Speaker of the Duma. He is a talented speaker with a gift of the gab. Some feel he is too angry and flamboyant (he calmed down a lot lately). Zhirinovsky has a good long-term perspective and vision. Sharp, knowledgeable, sometimes makes decent predictions. Respected because of that. I like to listen to him as a barometer of what is happening in the right-wing part of the Russian society.
Sergei Zheleznyak (Deputy Speaker of the Duma, The United Russia Party). He only does debates (see below) and interviews. Has one of the better perspectives, logical, can talk. He expresses the centrist positon of the United Russia and he’s close to the official position of the Russian Federation. Because of that, he is a very good political barometer. He is originally from Kiev, and therefore, very knowledgeable about internal processes taking place in both Russia and Ukraine, as well as between the two. I find I agree with a lot of what he says in this regard.
Just to note, not a recommendation:
Evgeny Fedorov – Duma deputy, Head of NOD (the National Liberation Movement). To my taste, he is too angry and fear-mongering. But he does have the right perspective as to where Russia should be going, and what the West is up to. Leans toward conspiracy theories. He is sometimes interesting to listen to, makes some valid points. I caught him several times making wrong predictions – he always errs significantly on the negative side. See: Prediction: Is Kiev-Style Maidan Possible in St. Petersburg? Lots about him in that article. We discuss just that issue: his recent prediction that, as we now know, didn’t materialize, and mine that did.
Mikhail Delyagin – political economist. I caught him several times being wrong about what Russia will or won’t do, while my predictions were right on, so… He once in while make certain sense in his analysis – but not in his conclusions. Similar to Khazin. Like Khazin – Anti-Putin, unduly and extremely sarchastic and negative. Not my cup of tea.
I will add this name: Prof. Viktor Yefimov. He is more of a futurist and visionary than analyst. A bit convoluted and dry, but interesting. For those who want to go into the very deep and controvercial things.
I am also adding the top Russian geopolitical shows. There are more analysts and politicians that can be found there.
YT link: Sunday Night with Vladimir Solovyov on Russia 1 Channel. The best such talk show. Solovyov is an excellent host and moderator. Usually invites prominent Russian analysts, politicians, writers and foreign reps with varying points of view. I make it a point to watch. I find out a lot of news and keep my hand on the pulse of Russia through it, although I could easily do without the loud arguments when they really get going.
Politica with Peotr Tolstoy. Similar format to above. Link to recent show with Glazyev and Zhirinovsky.
Spetsialny Correspondent (Special Correspondent) show on Russia 1, with Evgeny Popov. Link to the latest show about Novorossia, with Zhirinovsky, Zheleznyak, Kurginyan, Shargunov (not bad), Latvian analyst Einar Graudinsh (he’s right on!), and American journalist Michael Baum, who’s very good at finding excuses for US, NATO and OSCE in Ukraine.
The Polish time-bomb?
(Nothing personal, just facts and translation)
Starting at 10:40, the above Spetsialny Correspondent show includes a documentary about the recent riots resembling the Kiev maidan in Warsaw, Poland. The masked, well-trained and organized young people threw at police the cobblestones dug out in advance, as well as Molotov cocktails. The Russian journalist’s investigation shows the close connection between the two events. It also shows the close connection between the Ukrainian and Polish secret police. Both have exchanged information and Ukrainian police trained in Polish secret training facilities. At 13:00 it is revealed that there is a ‘profound friendship’ between western Ukraine nazis and central Polish authorities. Two months before Kiev maidan a number of ukro-nazis received training in Poland. Officially referred to as ‘Ukrainian students,’ they looked like bald forty-year-old body builders with tattooed swastikas. On pictures one can see people in masks – these are Polish instructors. They forgot to remove the sign, which reads: “Police Legionovo.” This is the location of the secret special police training facility.
Russian journalist tried to get an interview from the Polish author of these revelations in one of the local papers. The author of the article published on the first page, with lots of telling pictures (see video), said that the whole thing was a joke, nothing more. He looked uncomfortable, his front tooth chipped. Looks like someone got to him. At the same time, the prosecutor’s office of Warsaw initiated a criminal case against the unauthorized presence of the ukro-nazis in Poland. Left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing? Or was it done for show: ‘Polish authorities have nothing to do with ukro-nazis’? At 16:00 – interview with another revelation: the so-called ‘Union of Ukrainians in Poland’ receives huge support from the Polish government. It’s possible that the money goes to arm nazis in Ukraine.
It appears what I suspected all along is taking place in Poland: the radical, ultra-nationalistic minority that has usurped the country’s power structures, is doing everything to ignite a bigger conflict in Europe in order to take revenge on Russia (and Germany too) for old spites. Because of their shortsightedness, they are serving as the US Trojan Horse in the EU, trying to deepen a wedge between Russia and Europe. It is a mistake not to take what is happening in Poland seriously. For years, we have already made this mistake with Ukraine, thinking it couldn’t get any worse – and it did.
Both EU and Ukraine will do well to understand who is manipulating them and why. Any reasonable people still left in the US should also understand that it’s against their best interests to be in bed with the Poles. Poles will attempt to hide behind the US back when things go wrong – and they will; they’ll shift the blame onto the US for the catastrophe they are creating in Europe. This is a very dangerous game. The only result is that Poland will drag itself into the abyss, trying to take others with them.
Further in the same show at 21:30 Sergei Zheleznyak reads a quote: ‘Soviet Union has to be divided into separate tribes wherever possible. We must create for these tribes a separate national identity and idea that would be in direct opposition to the Russian idea. For Ukrainians we need to create their own alphabet and their own vocabulary as different as possible from Russian.’ One of the ideologues of German Nazism, Georg Schmidt-Rohr. This is exactly what is happening in today’s Ukraine, which means someone has activated the old Nazi playbook!
At 32:35 – documentary ‘Faces of Novorossia.’ At 34:33 they show burned packaging from an American military lunch left by the Ukrainian army in the completely destroyed Lugansk Airport. At 35:10 they show factories in ruins left after 23 years of Ukraine’s independence. Not from the artillery shelling, just from the country that gradually was falling apart. 35:55 – Kiev stopped paying pensions to Lugansk/Donetsk retirees, doctors and teachers haven’t been paid in 4 months.
They also show a 20-year-old man, young musician from Donetsk, who lost his leg while coming home from a music lesson when Ukraine army was bombing Donetsk. At the same time the American journalist Michael Baum remarks that what is happening in Ukraine is a game. You can imagine the reaction to such statement.
They later talk about the future Nuremberg-style tribunal for crimes against humanity committed in Ukraine and about the need for the international engagement for the de-militarization, de-nazification of the entire Ukraine.
All the above revelations confirm and reinforce what I have stressed in Earth Shift Report 2: Ukraine, Russia and Falsified History. I have talked about the extensive secret role of Poland in financing and instigating the Kiev maidan, and of Polish training facilities for color revolutionaries. I have also talked about the old German idea of tearing the Russians in Ukraine from the Russians in Russia in order to conquer Russia. As I said in the same report, aggression against Russia always ends badly for the aggressor, as the cancer they had created starts eating themselves from the inside, which is what we are seeing now with riots in Poland, Hungary, France, UK and other countries. Much more is revealed in: Ukraine, Russia and Falsified History!
P.S. There is additional discussion about Poland in the comment section.
Incidentally, many people mentioned above, such as Zhirinovsky, Zheleznyak, Zadornov, Solovyov, Fedorov have been blacklisted and sanctioned both in Ukraine and US/EU. They cannot travel to either.
All the above YouTube links are in Russian. The translation software is available online – please do a Google search. Also, YouTube usually has a button which asks if you would like to translate. Poland has been firmly in bed with the USA for years. I call Poland, together with the neighboring Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, the “Trojan Horses of the US in Europe.” Polish government has been known to support the Kiev maidan and the ousting of president Yanukovich. Polish officials both former and present, including former president of Poland, made ardent speeches on Kiev maidan, expressing extreme anti-Russian views and fostering hatred towards anything Russian.
The Polish Foreign Minister Sikorski was always considered anti-Russian and pro-American. In the 1980s he was fighting in Afghanistan on the American and the Taliban side against the Soviet forces and Afghanistan government. Since then, he exchanged his gun for the diplomatic suit, becoming an exemplary US Trojan Horse…
All of a sudden, it turns out Sikorski has been saying officially not exactly what he’s been thinking, and doing not exactly what he’s been wanting to do. The leaked tape published by a Polish publication shows Sikorski speaking with a former colleague. In the tape he says that Poland has been giving ‘the Americans a blow job’ for years in return for nothing. This, says Sikorski, has lulled Poles into a false sense of security. Meanwhile, Poland is sacrificing for the sake of the relationship with the USA the most important relationships it has, those with Russia and Germany – creating enemies out of neighbors.
Indeed, Polish ultra-nationalism has been completely out of control for years, both on state, and every day, level. It is very visible in the media and in the statements of politicians. Polish ultra-nationalists sometimes turn violent. A couple of years ago during the football World Cup in Poland, the Polish mob attacked Russian fans. As a result, many received injuries.
In light of all this, the leaked tape is quite scandalous and revealing. As such, it has made the first pages of all Polish publications.
Sikorski went on Western TV to deny that he ever said anything of the sort. While denying the tape, he nevertheless stated that the “Old World” has to unite, and stop listening to America. Europe has to decide its own policy and take care of its own security; it has to stop relying on the US.
This seems like a shocking and almost revolutionary statement coming from a Polish politician. It is known that 48% of the Polish population disapprove of the pro-American government of Donald Tusk. We all remember a scandal when it turned out that Polish territory was used (still is?) by the CIA for its illegal prisons. It is known that Polish territory is widely used by the US and UK to train opposition bloggers, pro-Western media, NGO and Fifth Column specialists, who would then go to their respective countries to undermine regimes US wants changed. These specialists are primarily trained for Russia. We also see the results of their handiwork in today’s Ukraine. Of course, they also infiltrate Belarus, Baltics, Kazakhstan, Central Asia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, as well as Eastern Europe: Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, etc. The main goal of the Fifth Column is to promote “American and Western values” and undermine – read bash, malign, vilify – Russia; to foster hatred towards Russia, re-write history and create animosity. They must do very good business.
Can it be that the realization of what Poland has turned itself into is slowly dawning on the natives? Could it be that some Poles are beginning to realize at least some truth? Let’s hope so. Although after 20+ years of Poland’s sleeping with the devil, I am understandably cautious about such supposition…
In any event, I do strongly suspect that Poles are secretly terrified of the monster they helped create in Ukraine, together with the US and EU. They probably are shocked (if I were them, I would be) at what became of Ukraine after they had actively trained and financed the opposition, including the ukro-nazi ‘right sector’ militants. Those same nazis that burned people alive in Odessa, and those who kill people in Donbass. Poland still maintains a claim on part of western Ukraine with the capital in Lvov. The ‘right sector’ are the descendants of the Hitler era ukro-fascists from SS Division Galichina, the so-called ‘banderovtsi,’ who killed hundreds of thousands of Poles in western Ukraine. I don’t know how any decent Polish people can possibly feel good about what ukro-nazis are doing today.
I had several Polish friends and I had been to Poland at least four times. But this was over 20 years ago. At the time, I didn’t notice any anti-Russian sentiment or animosity; quite the opposite – my Polish friends were always extremely warm and hospitable. In this regard, I didn’t feel any different than in Russia. Poles were always opinionated and high-strung, but they were still a great company to hang out with. I very much enjoyed our friendship – we had a lot in common, much more than Poles admit to themselves today. Yes, there were some historic tensions, but they were kept in check by the conscious efforts of both sides to remember similarities before differences.
All this ended in the 1990s. Differences and problems is what USA exploits best. This is the old, time-tested strategy of divide and conquer. Once American NGOs moved in, and once the willing politicians were found, who did everything the US told them to do, Poland became progressively more and more anti-Russian and pro-American. Remember the 2003 Iraq invasion and the “coalition of the willing” the US formed out of its vassals through threats and coercion? Poland was a very willing part of it.
For many Russians, what appeared to be a sudden Polish turn to Rusophobia caused a shock similar to what they had experienced when they woke up one day to discover that Ukrainians became anti-Russian practically overnight. This shock wasn’t as painful; after all, Poles are not as close to Russians as Ukrainians are. And of course this didn’t happen overnight – it took about 10-15 years to nurture this hatred. The work started still in the 1980s and culminated in the early 2000s. Not every country succumbed to propaganda. Bulgarian, Serbian and Slovakian people, no matter how much anti-Russian propaganda is dumped on them, remain pro-Russian; but unfortunately, not their governments.
Poland succumbed very easily. In Ukraine it took a bit longer, but not by much.
Hatred destroys something very important in people’s hearts and minds. Can the trust be rebuilt? Perhaps. Russians tend to forgive easily. I don’t know about Poles. In any event, looks like the wind is changing and people are starting to come to their senses. Let’s just say I am cautiously optimistic. I have to say, it will take much longer, and much more evidence, to change my present scepticism regarding Poland into something truly positive.
After years of… how do I say it without getting into the sex terminology… umm… In other words, of doing you-know-what with the US, Poland is finally acknowledging what has been obvious to others. Poland’s future is in cooperation, not confrontation, with Russia and Germany, among other neighboring countries. It’s future isn’t so much in bed with someone’s uncle from across the Atlantic.
Sometimes a leaked tape is not a bomb, but rather a political signal. The conversation in question actually happened in the beginning of 2014, but the tape was only leaked a few days ago. I believe that Poland is ready for regime and political wind change. The leaked tape by Polish FM, a known Rusophobe, serves as a signal meant for Russia and Germany, as well as France, that Poland will play ball.
Considering how actively Poland was pushing US agenda in Europe for years, oftentimes clashing and overriding its bigger neighbors France and Germany, this is an interesting signal. Will it amount to anything, or will “uncle” McCain now appear in Warsaw, as he just recently materialized in Sofia, after which Bulgaria promptly froze its participation in the Russian South Stream pipeline project? Or they could send Victoria Nuland to “subvert” Poland, like she did with Ukraine. It does appear very easy for the US to scare any “European leader” into doing the US bidding.
Let’s see for a moment what’s happening in the EU. France announced that it will deliver two Mistral carriers to Russia over the US objections; one of the major French banks formed a partnership with Russia and is ready to pay $8bln in sanctions to the US for doing business with Russia. US is putting a lot of pressure on France regarding anti-Russian sanctions. The French are very angry at the US. They are suffering massive business losses because of these sanctions.
It helps that Marine Le Pen won Europarliament elections, defeating the incumbent French president Hollande’s Socialist Party. I predicted Marine Le Pen rise back in 2012, in the same article where I predicted Sarkozy’s presidential election loss and Hollande’s win. I also said that Hollande is likely to fail the deeply cherished desires of his voters, and could eventually lose to Marine Le Pen. See my 2012 France predictions: 2012 Predictions Update: French Elections and Eurozone.
Incidentally, watch Marine Le Pen! She is only warming up. I see her as the only hope for constructive change in Europe this decade. Considering Angela Merkel has completely dropped the ball, and most others are bought-and-paid-for, she is the only big politician who can really influence the whole Europe.
Speaking of Germany. As I said before, it reminds me of a deer caught in the headlights. In one of my previous articles about Merkel I said that she is scared of something, possibly of the responsibility she can’t handle, but also possibly, of some scandals that can come out – remember, she was (still is?) the subject of a massive NSA surveillance. What secrets of hers did NSA record during their illegal wire-tapping? On this blog we deal with facts. One such fact is that at times, Merkel acts as if she is on the US payroll. Otherwise, how does one explain her latest statement that the German gold is perfectly fine at the NY FED? Merkel withdrew Germany’s request that US delivers some of German gold it holds in trust for Berlin. That’s after US failed to deliver more than 5 tons out of 1400 tons of gold it holds in trust for Germany, practically admitting to the entire world that all foreign gold has been squandered! Why would Merkel do that? Blackmail and threats come to mind.
At the same time, German business has been screaming bloody murder over the anti-Russian sanctions. A quiet revolt is brewing in Germany and some other EU countries.
Slowly, Europe is starting to muster a tiny bit of courage to express its desires. This incredible timidness demonstrates vividly how much Europe really is under the US thumb.
Even American companies are starting to seriously worry that US anti-Russian sanctions will undermine American economy. US-Russia annual trade is only $20bln. Russia-EU trade is $420bln. If US companies are protesting, imagine what EU companies feel!
Of course, it’s easy for the US to manipulate Europe for historic reasons. Having started two World Wars in the 20th century alone, western Europe is mortally terrified of a new massive conflict on the continent. They don’t trust themselves, it seems. Remember what I said – fear, greed and other lowly emotions is what US exploits best. Therefore, Europeans have to snap out of their fearful ‘deer caught in the headlights’ mode and start behaving on the level of reason! Only then the situation can be resolved.
Just yesterday, US Secretary of State John Kerry again threatened Russia. He said that Russia must disarm(!) rebels in eastern Ukraine, otherwise there will be a new round of sanctions. He probably means that Putin MUST go to Ukraine and PERSONALLY disarm anyone who US disapproves of, to please Kerry, Obama, McCain, and other imbeciles in Washington. That does not concern ukro-nazis from the ‘right sector,’ because these SOBs are “US approved” SOBs.
Can anyone even begin to imagine the level of imbecilism of the idiots like Kerry? I think he attended Harvard? Bravo, he totally lives up to the elite American ivy-league education!
Jokes aside, the Washington idiots are extremely dangerous because they are holding the financial and military levers, through which they can ruin any country they please. The US is threatening to block Russia from using the SWIFT system – the US and petro-dollar controlled international system of payments, which is the world monopoly. Just imagine the levers in the US hands! US can threaten any country to be cut off from SWIFT, resulting in a serious damage to that country’s economy. What a perfect blackmail position! As an example, Iran is cut off from SWIFT as part of US-imposed sanctions.
No single country must be allowed to hold such unfair advantage over others.
SWIFT is what a country uses to pay for imports and international trade. If Russia cannot use SWIFT, she can’t sell gas to Europe. To this day, Russia sells gas to Europe for dollars(!), despite trying to transition to rubles for years. Do you know why they can’t? Because US is putting huge pressure on the EU. If Russia is suddenly cut off from SWIFT monopoly, it can be catastrophic for both Russian and EU economies. Russia would be forced to halt the gas flow until EU agrees to pay Russia in rubles. This will take time, and massive sabotage by the US has to be expected.
The way gas pipelines work is that the pipe has to maintain a substantial pressure in oder for gas to continue flowing. This is achieved by a number of measures. If you stop gas flow cold turkey, it’s very hard and expensive to re-start it. That’s why Gazprom prefers not to do it. Turning off the switch is a very cumbersome and costly proposition.
EU countries will be threatened not to agree to the ruble-based trade. It is clear why: this is a direct threat to the dollar. If dollar collapses, this threatens the very existence of the US Empire. Of course, the collapse of the dollar is a matter of when, not if. But US will be trying to delay it for as long as possible. As I discussed many times before, US will try to drag down with it everyone it can. Russia is first on the list. EU – including Germany, France, Italy, Austria, and poor Poland, too – second.
Next, US will say: see, we told you so! Russia is a very unreliable business partner. It stopped the flow of gas to Europe, just as we warned you! Instead, we will sell you OUR OWN shale gas! We are your old allies and biggest partners. We are all a part of NATO! Work with the US! And if you don’t… And then, there will be threats, which may, or may not, convince the EU countries to fall in line.
What will happen next: EU economy will be undermined. Russian economy will be undermined. Who wins? US and Canada, as it happens every time there is a war or crisis on the European continent. I have warned about this same in my previous articles. The saga continues.
On a more optimistic side:
Austria just signed a deal with Russia to build the Austrian section of South Stream. In an interview a few days ago, a Hungarian journalist said that in truth, everyone in Eastern Europe wants to have Gazprom pipeline go through their territory. This provides lots of badly needed jobs, money flows into the country, gas gets cheaper; there are many other benefits, including possible future projects with Russia. But at that very moment, Uncle Sam comes in and starts steamrolling through these small countries, intimidating and buying up politicians and businesses. Call it US mafia, invasion, or slavery – it doesn’t get any less disgusting.
Other moderate positives: Czechia and Slovakia said they will not place US AMD missiles on their territory, directed against Russia. Hungary has been vocal against some of the policies they don’t like in the EU, including the Ukraine crisis. Although Hungarians succumbed to the pressure to stay in the EU, these first timid steps can be considered an attempt to regain sovereignty. By how a country behaves in such circumstances we can easily see how much independence and sovereignty this country has.
For example recently, Senator McCain visited Bulgaria, after which Bulgaria promptly announced that it was freezing its participation in the South Stream project with Russia (gas pipeline being built to bypass the uncertainty of Ukraine in order to deliver Russian gas directly to southern and central Europe). This pipeline would be a life-line for the fledgling Bulgarian economy. Therefore, such announcement after the McCain visit means only one thing: Bulgaria has no sovereignty whatsoever. It does what its masters in Washington tell it to do. Romania agreeing to place American AMDs on its territory, despite Russia’s objections, is another indication of the same.
In this regard, we can see clearly how little sovereignty Poland has, if in order to signal the change, they need to resort to a leaked tape. Still, better than nothing…
Therefore, I am making this cautiously optimistic prediction: Europe is waking up little by little. The US influence in Europe is slowly waning. Russia and EU must, and will, continue getting closer. US will try to sabotage this process, so brace yourselves.
Here is my advice to the EU politicians and media. If you are scared, remember this: US can only cause trouble and get to you, if you yourselves have ulterior motives, or if you are not acting in good faith. They are masters of exploiting fear, anger and greed. Don’t allow them access to these lowly emotions. Plus, work with, not against, Russia – and there is nothing they’ll be able to do.
For as long as I can look back, Russia has always carried the biggest load, and paid a disproportionately heavy price for getting the world back into balance. Russia single-handedly won WWII (allies only opened the second front in 1944, when it wasn’t necessary any more as Soviet troops had already chased Hitler almost back to Germany). Peace prevailed, but 27 million Soviet people had to die for that; the country was practically destroyed. I was just having a discussion with a Chinese friend. I reminded him that if not for Russia, Chinese might have been speaking Japanese today. It was only thanks to Russia’s massive help, know-how, troops, equipment and money that Chinese were able to liberate their country from brutal Japanese occupation during WWII.
For years, Russia had been the No.1 exporter of talent and brains. The rise of the US science, art and sport is all thanks to the emigration from Russia, as well as other countries. For example, one of Google founders is from Russia. How many Russian scientists emigrated to the US since 1990s (thanks to Soros grants)? I lived in Princeton for many years. The entire famed Princeton University’s Institute for Advanced Studies, where Einstein worked, is staffed with Russians. How many Russian classical musicians and ballet dancers have elevated the art in the West? The rise of the American and European gymnastics and figure skating is all due to Russian athletes and coaches, some of whom I have known personally. Russian oligarchs – fronts for Rothschilds, BP, Exxon and others – siphoned enormous wealth out of the country and passed it on to their Western bosses, thus enriching the West and impoverishing Russia (and Ukraine too).
Now, Russia and Putin are trying to keep peace, when US is trying to drag the world into the last war, and Europe is timidly hiding behind mommy’s skirt.
Enough already! Start taking responsibility for your own future, people!
