Urgent! President Of Moldova Dodon’s Car Rammed by Truck! Hours After Abkhazia PM killed! (Open Season on Pro-Russian Leaders?)
I am making this PATREON Urgent Alert public and FREE for all!
This is open season on pro-Russian leaders, people of common sense and truth.
This is the shocking first footage of a truck plowing into Moldovan President Igor Dodon’s motorcade on Sunday. The crash occurred when a truck skidded into oncoming traffic, crashing into two cars from the presidential convoy, reportedly near the town of Straseni.

……
…….
Coincidence of Open Season?
Dodon’s ‘accident’ follows the recent assassination by the pro-US Kiev junta of the Donetsk People’s Republic leader Alexandr Zakharchenko (see my several articles on Patreon, and FT). As I wrote on Patreon, Zakharchenko was also the most popular politician in the whole Ukraine, who would have won next year’s presidential elections, should he be allowed to run by Kiev!
But it gets worse! Dodon’s ‘accident’ comes just hours after Gennady Gagulia, the prime minister of Abkhazia, a Russian-backed republic that broke away from Georgia in the 1990s, died in a car crash in a similar way.
Want to know the background?
I had extensive reports on Moldova and Pridnestrovie in the previous years. Search for my articles on Dodon and Moldova here on FT, and look for my original, extensive Moldova/Pridnestrovie video on Lada Ray YT (under Lada Ray Live series) and the whole Moldova/Odessa/Pridnestrovie situation was summarized and long-ranging predictions made in ESR8: BLACK SEA GAMBIT.

EU Trouble: Why Hungary, Slovakia, Poland and Romania Support Separatism in Ukraine
According to some, this is what Ukraine’s map will look like in a few years. This is one idea… I personally think the map will look a bit different, but it certainly won’t be anything like it is today. Just give it time, and it may be a bit longer than a few years due to the fast-changing timelines, as a consequence of the Earth Shift. Will even the country’s name and the infamous ‘zhovto-blakitniy’ (yellow and blue) flag survive this ukro-nazi Kiev regime? To me, that is a BIG question!
LADA RAY PREDICTION:
Ukraine will continue rocking and burning up in fever, until the many injustices, clashes of inner economic and outer geopolitical interests, layers of lies and mismatches with reality are resolved.
I always said, and will continue saying, that Ukraine in its today’s form and substance, including its very name, is an artificial still-born creation, which could only survive and prosper under the tutelage and protection of Russia. Once it became separate, making it a juicy prey of the greedy local and international oligarchy; once alien ideology has been introduced, the whole thing began disintegrating.
It will continue on its road to self-destruction until, one way or another, all or most tensions and problems are resolved. Only this kind of solution will clear up the road to renewal and progress for Malorossia and Novorossia.
Today we are talking about one long-brewing issue, which was left dormant on the back burner for as long as Kiev and ukro-nazis didn’t touch it. As soon as this issue is disturbed, the overboiling of the old problems is bound to occur. The overboiling would be better for Ukraine’s many people, who are sick of this regime. However, it is very bad for Kiev, Poroshenko and ukro-nazis, who call themselves ‘Ukraine patriots’.
These self-styled ‘Ukraine patriots’ aren’t very bright, and through their actions, such as the one described below, they will continue pushing Ukraine into abyss, until complete disintegration, or until Russia is ready to pick up the pieces.
Hungary, Slovakia and Romania support separatism in Ukraine and demand self-determination for ethnic minorities
I had previously written about Poland, Hungary and Romania licking their lips and trying to quietly bite off pieces of Ukraine, hiding behind the Western and Ukrainian hysteria targeting Russia. This time Kiev, by accusing Russia of supposed ‘aggression’ and trying to pass more and more anti-Russian laws has stepped on the new rake and gotten itself into a very tight spot. The EU, as well as Germany/Merkel are equally in a tight spot, as lead defenders of Poroshenko and the Kiev junta.
Ukraine Rada recently passed a new ‘education law,’ according to which school education in the languages of minorities — and those are many in Ukraine — is banned, and education only in Ukrainian is permitted. As of 2017, education in minorities’ native languages is still permitted in primary school, however, all students past grade 5 are mandated to study only in Ukrainian. As of 2020 100% of pupils from first to last grade must study only in Ukrainian.
This news immediately caused an uproar in western Ukraine, where the following large minorities, numbering in hundreds of thousands reside: Hungarians, Romanians and Slovaks. In Odessa Oblast there also are numerous Bulgarian villages. Till now, they all had a choice of sending their kids to ethnic schools, however, gradually the number of subjects taught in minority languages has been declining over the years. There are also fewer and fewer such schools available.
Hungary PM Viktor Orban, a well-known nationalist, immediately reacted to the ukro-fascist ‘education law’ by denouncing it and demanding that EU demand that Ukraine rescind this new law as a condition to keep its ‘EU association agreement.’
To remind everyone, the infamous Ukraine’s EU association agreement was the pretext for the Kiev Maidan and coup 2014, leading to the ousting of president Yanukovich, war in Donbass and the loss of Crimea by Ukraine. Poroshenko proclaimed the signing of the EU association agreement and the accompanying 90-day visa free travel to the EU for Ukraine citizens as the crowning achievement of the Maidan and his administration.
Viktor Orban, who never minces words, announced that if EU fails to react to Hungary’s demands to protect the Hungarian population of western Ukraine, Hungary will block all EU’s initiatives in support of Kiev, such as Euro loans, further liberalization of trade quotas and any political or economic support of Poroshenko and Kiev regime.
Slovakia and Romania joined in the chorus of Kiev condemnation and demanded the same. These countries pledged to vote down any EU initiatives that would give breaks or afford loans to Kiev.
Furthermore, Hungary, supported by Slovakia and Romania, demands broad autonomy for the Hungarian and Rusyn populated Zakarpatska Rus, also called Podkarpatskaya Rus. (NOTE that ‘s’ in Rus and Rusyn is pronounced as ‘s’ in the word state, not as ‘z’) As seen on the map on top of this post, it is the western-most tip of today’s Ukraine, also known in the West as Transcarpathia.
There are about 200,000 Hungarians residing there, most of whom also posses Hungarian passports. This is because this area was a part of Austria-Hungary for centuries prior. However the core majority of the population in Podkarpatskaya Rus are Rusyns (aka, Rusins, Ruthenians). As you see by the name, it’s another way to say ‘Russians.’ I’ll tell you more: in 19th — beginning of 20th centuries the population of most of today’s Ukraine called themselves ‘Rusyns.’ The word ‘Ukrainian’ in the 19th century signified basically traitors to the Rusins, their language (an older version of western Russian) and Russian Orthodox faith. Later, the true history was successfully forgotten, aided and abetted by propaganda from Poland and Austria-Hungary. I explained in detail how it all happened in EARTH SHIFT REPORT 2 UKRAINE: TRUTH, LIES & FUTURE HOPE.
Rusyns have been very vocal about the fact that they wanted autonomy and recognition as a separate ethnicity, with their own language. They are recognized as a separate from ‘Ukrainians’ ethnicity by the neighboring countries, such as Slovakia and Hungary, as well as Russia and the UN. But Kiev refuses to recognize them as a separate minority, with their own rights, and insists they all are ‘Ukrainians.’ The leaders of the Rusyn movement have been either threatened or driven out of Ukraine altogether. As we see, Rusyns, as the core population of Transcarpathia, are ripe and ready for secession — they only need a push — and a support from abroad. In this case, the necessary support may come from Hungary and Slovakia.
This map allows you to see approximately where Zakarpatska Rus (Podkarpatskaya Rus) is located — marked in bright aquamarine color. I say approximately because it does have some discrepancies. It’s surrounded by Hungary in red (Wegry), Romania, Slovakia (light blue) and Poland. The rest of Ukraine is not marked here, but it is to the east in gray.
However, Germany and EU are vehemently opposing the autonomy and self-determination of these regions. Ukraine has to be kept intact despite the unwillingness and inability of different parts to stay together. Ukraine has to be as big and strong as possible, according to EU, Merkel and US. Why? Because as big and as menacing as possible a thorn is needed against Russia. But it is simultaneously a thorn against Eastern/Central European countries, such as Hungary, Austria, Czechia and Slovakia, some of which are starting to see the light and want better relations with Russia. Maintaining a permanent Iron Curtain between Russia and these countries, as well as entire Europe, is the No.1 goal of the neo-liberal globalist and West-centric elites.
Conclusion: there will be lots of fights and arms twisting in the EU in the next couple of years. Get your semechki and popcorn ready.
Many Rusyns have relatives on the other side of the border and many own Hungarian passports, in addition to Ukrainian passports. However, at large they prefer to be a part of Russia. The problem is that they are surrounded by the rest of western Ukraine, which tends to be ukro-nazi inclined and there is no direct border with Russia. In such situation, they hope to escape the clutches of Kiev with Hungary’s help.
Slovakian population has also resided in those parts since it was a part of the Austria-Hungary. On the top map, you will also find small pieces of south-western Ukraine marked as populated by Romanians.
But the biggest chunk of today’s Ukrainian territory coveted by Romania is the southern part of the prized Odessa Oblast, aka, Bessarabia (on the top map it is marked under the Russian flag). Romania also claims that all of Moldavia (presently separate from Russia Republic of Moldova) and the breakaway Pridnestrovie should both be a part of the ‘Great Romania.’ All that can happen in their wet dreams only, of course. I can tell you with absolute confidence that Romania will never get its hands on either Odessa Oblast, Moldavia or Pridnestrovie. Much more on these volatile issues and region’s fascinating history is discussed in Earth Shift Report 8: Black Sea Gambit.
What is marked on the top map as the territory claimed by Poland is the largest part of Western Ukraine. Poland has been for years publicly supporting Russophobia and discrimination of Russian language and culture in Ukraine, while at the same time secretly plotting to tear Western Ukraine with center in Lvov from Ukraine.
Overall, either quietly or loudly, Poland, Hungary, and Romania have been encouraging and supporting separatism in Western Ukraine, while voting for sanctions against Russia, for supposedly supporting ‘separatism’ in south-eastern Ukraine and Donbass. The double-faced hubris of this position is obvious: in reality they are licking their lips and waiting for the right moment when Kiev weakens enough, secretly hoping to chop off the pieces of Ukraine they can get their hands on.
It has to be mentioned that Hungary, along with Austria, Slovenia, Greece and Finland, has been one of the most vocal opponents of the anti-Russian sanctions, repeatedly demanding their repeal. Hungary also made a serious effort to keep its good relationship with Russia going, despite sanctions and EU threats. Same goes for the the other countries mentioned in this regard.
Poland, on the other hand, has been the biggest proponent and initiator of the existing and new anti-Russian sanctions. Many anti-Russian moves in the EU have been pushed through based on the insistence of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Romania hasn’t been that far behind.
Hungary and others demand broad autonomy and self-determination for their respective minorities in order to preserve the culture and the right of people to speak their native language. Hungary’s Orban even uttered something that till now was considered blasphemy and a taboo in Hungary and the rest of Eastern Europe. Ready for this?.. He said that Hungarian minority was batter off in the USSR than in today’s Ukraine!! Can you imagine this coming out of the mouth of an EU head of state?!
What Orban said is the real, honest to goodness truth of course, as I can personally confirm. But it is something no EU politician could admit to himself — forget admitting it publicly!
The demands of autonomy and self-determination for Hungarians in Ukraine caused a major uproar in Kiev. Foreign minister Klimkin lashed out by accusing Hungary of supporting separatism in Ukraine. Ukraine in general is in shock from the EU/Hungary/Romania/Slovakia’s reaction to the new law. They have thought that because Kiev serves as a major thorn in Russia’s back, EU will always look the other way, no matter what Kiev junta does. After all, EU conveniently didn’t notice any of the atrocities by Kiev and ukro-nazis against the peaceful population of Donetsk and Lugansk. That’s because Donbass is populated by Russians and Ukrainians. But an encroachment on the rights of those ethnicities they consider their own is a different story altogether.
In their twisted and dim minds the Kiev Rada honestly thought the EU would say ‘Thank You’ and reward them for the new anti-Russian move — because make no mistake, this new ‘education law’ is aimed against Russia.
And now we need to say a few words about the elephant in the room, aka, RUSSIAN LANGUAGE. The thing is, when the Rada was passing this already infamous ‘education law,’ what they were really targeting was Russian language and culture. It is the highly preferred culture and language for the majority of Ukraine’s population, despite major persecution. Therefore, its complete eradication from people’s genetic and ancestral memory is the ultimate goal.
It once happened the same way to Poland and to Germany (Prussia and beyond). But that was centuries ago, and this is happening in front of our very eyes. Problem is, no matter how hard they tried, they were largely unsuccessful with adults, who refused to stop speaking Russian. It is helpful that we live in the TV and Internet age, where much info can be found bypassing official channels.
I described in EARTH SHIFT REPORT 2 UKRAINE: TRUTH, LIES & FUTURE HOPE how in 2007 the Gallup poll inadvertently confirmed that 70%+ of Ukrainians preferred to read and write in Russian. This is when it was decided that slow and insidious means of color revolutions and election fraud, employed to elect the US agent Yushchenko in 2004, didn’t produce the desired result. It was judged that instead a violent coup d’etat was needed, using sold-out elites, criminal element, the jobless, angry and disgruntled youths, silly students and impoverished villagers. The preparation for the 2014 Maidan began.
We can easily point fingers here. Recall US State Dept’s Victoria Nuland bragging during Washington Press Club meeting in the end of 2013 how US spent $5 billion to subvert Ukraine. Top EU and US politicians were on Kiev Maidan every day, calling to overthrow Yanukovich. The names that come to mind first are Nuland, US ambassador to Kiev Pyatt, US senator McCain and Poland’s top politician Kachinski, twin brother of ex-president Kachinski who died along with 96 Poland’s top brass in self-inflicted plane crash near Smolensk, Russia, several years prior. This surviving Kachinski twin is presently called the ‘shadow ruler of Poland.’
Both then Ukraine PM Azarov and president Yanukovich were threatened daily with a coup and bodily harm if they resisted the Maidan and tried to make up with Russia. PM Azarov writes extensively in his recently published memoirs how he was personally threatened more than once by Nuland and US ambassador Pyatt, as well as EU’s then foreign minister Catherine Ashton (a UK native). All top Ukraine politicians, ministers, security services personnel, police and military commanders, bureaucrats and oligarchs were either bought or threatened, if they refused to succumb to pressure. The most ‘disagreeable’ to the West’s agenda for Ukraine were killed or driven out of the country. Ex-PM Azarov was one of them.
At the same time, since late 1980s-early 1990s, the children were targeted through a wholesale assault and mutilation of the educational system of Ukraine. If it didn’t work with adults, they needed to switch target to the next generation and watch how they grow up hating their own heritage. And that, unfortunately, did produce the result they were after. It is a well-known fact that Ukraine school books were created using free Soros grants, by western Ukrainians from Poland, Canada and US. This was done simultaneously with the re-writing of history and re-inventing Ukrainian language to make it seem as non-Russian as possible. Again, all that was done using fat grants provided by Soros, USAID, Endowment for Democracy and other Western NGOs. But the result was still relatively meager and localized.
As of 2017, despite urko-nazi threats, parents still continue to go out of their way to find a Russian school for their kids. I just heard from those who live in Ukraine and they complain that it’s harder and harder to find a Russian school in most areas, even where Russian is traditionally the ONLY language spoken, such as Odessa. In Kiev it’s nearly impossible to find a Russian school. But people still try.
There are bizarre incidents being reported. A Russian-speaking teacher would ask a question in Russian, but the pupil is required to answer in Ukrainian, even though the pupil’s language is also Russian. In some schools teachers and parents secretly agree on a work-around, such as the class is advertised as Ukrainian-language, but all lessons are conducted in Russian, for as long as no outsiders are present. In other cases, when teachers in class teach falsified history, parents at home are forced to re-educate their children by telling them not to believe what is said in school. Can you imagine the trauma and confusion all this causes to a fragile child’s psyche?
I recently read this story by a very popular in Ukraine blogger, who writes under the name Yura Sumi. He was forced out of the country after telling the truth about Donbass and Kiev regime. While he was trying to get naturalized in Russia, his family remained in Ukraine. They came to visit him in a small town near Moscow, where he resided. His teenage daughter didn’t want to go back to Ukraine. Parting, she uttered longingly, ‘Papa, why wasn’t I born here?’
Oftentimes Russian is marked in school curriculum as a ‘foreign’ language, and in many schools it is pushed out altogether, being overtaken by other FOREIGN languages: English and German.
But the resistance to forced ukrainization is huge. In the absence of good Russian language education, parents often take it upon themselves to teach kids Russian through the love of the Russian literature and through watching Russian films and cartoons.
This is why the real assault against Russian language was needed. The new ‘education law’ was aimed to target specifically Russian language and culture. But Hungarian, Slovakian and Romanian were caught in the crossfire. The Kiev junta hasn’t counted on backlash from Hungary and other EU countries. Kiev is afraid to spoil relations with EU, its biggest backer apart from the US. Poroshenko and Rada made an attempt to get around this by calling only on Russian language to be banned from schools, while giving exception to Hungarian, Slovak and Romanian. But that created additional backlash from western Ukraine ultra-nationalists, who want ONLY Ukrainian in every school. At the same time it caused a protest storm from Russia, and even more international accusations of blatant discrimination of the minorities’ rights. The UN was forced to get involved.
The pressure on Poroshenko to rescind this discriminatory law will continue from the EU and UN. Meanwhile Ukrainian ultra-nationalists and ukro-nazis continue pressing Poroshenko to uphold it. So far, Poroshenko, this unusually large, yet slippery snake, has been able to squirm his way out of tight spots, hanging on by his teeth to power. But the spot he is in is getting progressively tighter. He knows he must get re-elected as president just to stay alive. The moment he’s out of office and loses his immunity, he will be hunted for the rest of his life.
The example of ex-Georgian president Saakashvili, a man without citizenship, is right in front of his eyes. Saakashvili was stripped of Georgian citizenship, but he quickly and illegally received Ukraine citizenship. At the same time he was made by Poroshenko the governor of Odessa Oblast, also quite illegally. Late last year (right on time, based on my prediction made in Earth Shift Report 8: Black Sea Gambit), he lost his lucrative Odessa post and was stripped of Ukraine citizenship by Poroshenko, following a public row.
Earlier, US refused to give Saakashvili a green card and/or a visa, which in itself is interesting. The reason: US needed him to have no choice but to stay close to Ukraine and Georgia, where he could cause most damage to Russia. However, my prediction is that with his latest actions, Saakashvili is helping Russia, Novorossia and Malorossia’s future in the long run.
After being kicked out of Ukraine Saakashvili became a person without citizenship and stayed in Poland. A few weeks ago, with the help of US and Poland, Saakashvili boldly and illegally crossed Ukraine border. The video of Saakashvili’s crossing is incredibly bizarre to watch. Kiev dispatched police, armed troops and armored vehicles to the border to prevent Saakashvili crossing. Yet, he was able to do so quite easily, with the help of a mob of local ukro-nazis. The Ukraine armed forces didn’t resist it very much. At this time Saakashvili is roaming Ukraine, threatening to expose and to oust Poroshenko during upcoming presidential elections.
The video below shows how Saakashvili forces his way into Ukraine from Poland, with the help of his ukro-nazi friends. On the Ukraine side he was met by Yulia Timoshenko (remember her?), who nurtures her own ambitions to become Ukraine PM or president, and whose ultimate goal is to unseat Poroshenko. For that, she is ready to make alliances with anyone, including Saakashvili. In the video below Georgian national Saakashvili, turned the most Ukrainian of all Ukrainians, is singing Ukrainian songs with his western Ukraine supporters. Later, they’ll head directly to Lvov, the capital of the ukro-nazi Galichina (western Ukraine), where he again will be greeted by Timoshenko, together with Lvov mayor Sadovoi, who also covets presidential chair.
Ukraine is a farce and a mad house, so what else is new? We had talked about the mad house called Ukraine in previous years, but this tragic comedy just gets better and better (or worse, depending on how you look at it).
This related article should not be missed! Kiev Scandals: Transatlantic Boss Joe Biden and Ukraine’s Spiders in a Jar (Saakashvili, Avakov, Yatsenyuk and Idiocracy Plus)
And of course, all about Saakashvili, including my March 2016 prediction that he would lose his Odessa governorship post no later than in 2017 (it actually happened in the end of 2016!) in Earth Shift Report 8: Black Sea Gambit.
How easily Saakashvili crossed into Ukraine reminds me of another famous episode, that of Lenin arriving to Russia in 1917, across several countries, including through Germany, which was at war with Russia at the time. Lenin arrived in time to head the Bolshevik Revolution on November 7, 1917.
We now know why Lenin’s carriage was allowed free passage through WWI-torn Europe and warring Germany: there was a collusion between UK and Germany to let him pass. In Saakashvili’s case, there has been a collusion between US and Poland.
Saakashvili is being kept in his useful capacity as a short leash and a whip for Poroshenko. For both Kiev and Poroshenko it can only get worse, and it can’t get any better. More turmoil to come!
This is a map of Ukraine, posted in the streets of Odessa (Odessa for now is a part of southern Ukraine). Over western and central Ukraine it reads in big letters ‘SOLD.’ Over eastern Ukraine: ‘LOST.’ Over the empty space where Crimea used to be as part of Ukraine: ‘LOST.’ Over southern Ukraine: ‘SOON TO BE LOST.’ If anyone still has any doubts of the language spoken in the south and east of Ukraine — well, in most of Ukraine really — it is Russian, of course. As a matter of fact the text on the flier above is in Russian, not Ukrainian, which is turning more and more into an artificial language.

Better than a thriller…
EARTH SHIFT REPORT 8
BLACK SEA GAMBIT
Lada Ray’s Message
I’ve written a thriller or two in my life, most notably, the reader and Amazon top-rated THE EARTH SHIFTER and bestselling GOLD TRAIN (Jade Snow Russia Adventure).
This Earth Shift Report is in part geopolitical analysis, in part futurist trendcast, and in part investigative report.
But what really sets it apart is that reading it, you’ll feel at times that you are in the midst of a geopolitical or spy thriller, and at other times, as if you’ve landed in an apocalyptic sci-fi!
Because the geographic position of the many areas we discuss is of crucial importance to the big geopolitical game being played around Black Sea, this report includes a number of maps, which will help my readers orient and anchor themselves in the convoluted sea of events and changes. Each map is explained and tied to the narrative, which will greatly enrich your reading experience!
The fact that I myself am intimately familiar with those parts will put you straight in the middle of an action. But that’s not all! Added are several chilling, shocking, revealing, and at times, hugely entertaining, stories and videos that make this Earth Shift Report better than a thriller!
Throughout this report I offer you a challenge:
Let’s solve this puzzle!
Why is Saakashvili, ousted ex-prez of Georgia and Odessa governor, so cocky with Kiev elites he seemingly should be grateful to? Why did he say he was aiming higher than the post of Ukraine PM, or even president?
The answer to these questions will bring us to the very heart of the issue: why is Black Sea so important geopolitically?
Why are there so much struggle and competition around Black Sea?
Why is US so intent on turning Odessa into its mega-base?

Beware of Wikipedia, a Tool in Global Info War!
Here is a great example of how little you can trust Wikipedia to obtain any truthful information concerning Russia, Ukraine, post-Soviet space, or any Eastern European country. The list goes on, and includes anything to do with China and many historic events and countries.
I was looking up the date of the DNR/LNR elections and found this: Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ukrainian_local_elections,_2015
Check it out and you’ll see what I mean!
Because of how search engines are designed, when you put in a search, Wikipedia is always the top entry. This makes it an extremely valuable propaganda tool.
Reading this entry it’s easy to see that someone, most likely in Canada or US, judging by how it’s written, is sitting and typing in these kinds of twisted entries in order to promote a specific political agenda.
This is an example of how propaganda works in our internet world. Taking advantage of the fact that most international internet is English-speaking, they usurp such free-for-all, unverifiable sources, made popular by the search engines. This puts the countries with non-English-speaking cultures at a huge disadvantage. The most disadvantaged in this info war are China and Russia, who always have been the main target of info war attacks in the first place.
But the biggest victims of the global info war are the people of Western, especially English-speaking countries, who are denied access to the truth, while being bombarded with informational falsehoods.
I generally try not to look at Wikipedia, unless I have no choice, since it is being hijacked daily by all kinds of unscrupulous forces.
Once I stumbled upon an entry about WWII Odessa’s occupation by Romania, in coalition with Hitler. The entry about Odessa’s occupation by a foreign country(!) glorified Romania, asserting that Odessans were happy under their rule, that they were ‘nice occupiers’ and that Odessans couldn’t wait to get rid of the cruel Russian rule! Now, who do you think wrote that Wikipedia entry, and for what purpose?
It is well know in those parts that Romania would really love to get their hands on all of Moldova, Pridnestrovie and Odessa oblast, and that their entire propaganda is targeted to that goal.
Needless to say, I went in and deleted the paragraphs that were overt lies (did you know that ANYONE can edit Wikipedia entries?) and added a few words from myself, this time containing truth about Odessa and WWII. Another time, I saw an absolutely horrible and slanderous Wikipedia post about one of Russia’s foremost poets of all time, Pushkin and his work. The tone of that entry was so disgusting that I felt nauseated.
But of course, who has the time to police all the millions of entries out there. I don’t – so I just ignore Wikipedia.
Clearly, one needs a dedicated, well paid staff that would go through Wikipedia with a fine tooth comb and edit; who would add hoaxes and targeted info dumps to existing articles, thus diluting the truth and creating new untruths to promote a specific agenda.
Wikipedia, whether those who started it intended it or not, has long become one of the dngerous weapons in the global info war.
So, beware! Try to avoid Wikipedia at any cost. As we have already discussed in past articles… in our time of brutal info wars trustworthy sources become rare and very precious. If you want to preserve such rare sources that do tell the truth, make sure you support them!

Ungrateful Europe. What would have happened should we push Hitler back just to our borders
As part of my 70 YEARS OF THE GREAT VICTORY MARATHON, I am posting this excellent translation of a Russian article by our reader and blogger Nemo (Stanislav).

On a personal note, I know what would have happened in my life if that’s all Russians did:
I, FOR ONE, WOULD HAVE GROWN UP KNOWING MY GRANDPARENTS!

Happy Victory Day, Fr. Merkel! My Open Postcard to the German Chancellor
Below is a translation from Russian of two historical articles, published in Argumenty i Fakty on the 3rd of April 2015. The main article was written by Georgij Zotov. A subsequent expert opinion is presented by historian Rudolph Pihoj.
On the eve of the 70th anniversary of Victory “AiF” tried to imagine: what would the map of Europe look like, had USSR not given thousands of kilometres of territories as present to those countries that now call us occupiers. And if they would give up these lands now.
Wroclaw – one of the most touristic cities of Poland. Crowds with cameras are everywhere, there’s not a spare spot in the expensive restaurants, taxi drivers ask for ungodly prices. At the entrance to the marketplace there waves a banner saying “Wroclaw – a real Polish charm!”. All seems fine, but as early as in May 1945 Wroclaw was called Breslau and had not belonged to Poland for 600 consecutive(!) years before that. The Victory Day, now referred by Warsaw as “the beginning of the communist tyranny,” added to Poland the German Silesia, Pomerania, as well as 80% of East Prussia. No one mentions this now: in other words that was a tyranny, but we’d still grab that land. “AiF” observer decided to understand, what would the map of Europe look like now, if our former brothers in the East were left without the help of the “occupiers”?
Whole cities as gifts
– In 1945 Poland received the cities of Breslau, Gdansk, Zielona Gora, Legnica, Szczecin, – says Maciej Wisniewski, a Polish freelance journalist. – USSR also gave the territory of Bialystok; with the mediation of Stalin, we acquired a disputed with Czechoslovakia city Kłodzko. Nevertheless, they believe here: the partitioning of Poland by the Molotov – Ribbentrop Pact, when the Soviet Union took the Western Belarus and Western Ukraine, was unfair, but the transfer by Stalin to Poland of Silesia and Pomerania is absolutely fair, you can not dispute this. It is fashionable to say now that Russians did not liberate, but conquered. However, it turns into an interesting kind of occupation, when Poland got for free a quarter of Germany: and on top of it, hundreds of thousands of Soviet soldiers shed their blood for this land. Even the GDR resisted, not wanting to give Szczecin to the Poles – the dispute over the city was finally solved only in 1956, under pressure from the USSR.
Apart from the Poles, the Baltic States express a strong indignation by the “occupation”. Well, it’s worth remembering: the current capital – Vilnius – was also presented to Lithuania by the USSR; by the way, the Lithuanian population of Vilnius was then… barely 1%, with Polish being the majority. USSR returned to the Republic the city of Klaipeda – Prussian Memel, owned by Lithuanians in the 1923-1939, and annexed by the Third Reich. Already back in 1991 the Lithuanian leadership condemned the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, but no one returned neither Vilnius to Poland, nor Klaipeda to Germany.
Ukraine, which by the Prime Minister Yatsenyuk’s words, declared itself “a victim of Soviet aggression on a par with German,” is unlikely to give to the Poles its western part with Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Ternopil (these cities were included by the “aggressor” into the UkSSR in 1939), Chernivtsi region to Romania (ceded to the UkSSR on August 2, 1940), and Transcarpathia to Hungary or Slovakia – received on June 29, 1945. Romanian politicians do not stop discussions about the validity of the “annexation” of Moldova by the Soviet Union in 1940. Of course, it’s long forgotten that after the war, it was thanks to Soviets that Romanians got back the province of Transylvania, which Hitler took in favour of Hungary. Bulgaria, by the mediation of Stalin himself, kept South Dobrudja (formerly the possession of that very same Romania), something that was confirmed by the treaty of 1947. But now Romanian and Bulgarian newspapers do not say a single word about it.
They don’t say ‘Thank you’
– After 1991, Czech Republic removed the monuments to the Soviet soldiers, and announced that Victory Day marks the replacement of one dictatorship with another, – says Alexander Zeman, a Czech historian. – However, it was thanks to the insistence of the Soviet Union, that Sudetenland was returned to Czechoslovakia, with the cities of Karlovy Vary and Liberec, where 92% of the population were Germans. Recall that at the Munich Conference of 1938 the Western powers supported the annexation of the Sudetenland by Germany – only the Soviet Union protested. At the same time the Poles grabbed from Czechoslovakia the Cieszyn region and did not want to give it back after the war, insisting on a referendum. Under the pressure of the USSR on Poland, supporting the the Czechoslovak position, a treaty was signed – Tesín returned to the Czechs, secured by the agreement of 1958. No one says ‘Thank you’ to the Soviet Union for this help – apparently the Russians are in debt to us with the very fact of their existence.
In general, we gave away all the lands, not forgetting anyone – and for this they now spit in our faces. In addition, few people know about the pogroms, committed by the new government on “the returned areas” – 14 million Germans were expelled from Pomerania and the Sudetenland. While the residents of Königsberg (which became Soviet Kaliningrad) moved to the GDR over the period of 6 years (until 1951), Poland and Czechoslovakia giving 2-3 months, while many Germans were given only 24 hours to get ready, being allowed to take only a suitcase of things, and forced to walk on foot for hundreds of kilometres. “You know, it’s not worth mentioning it, – they timidly point out to me at City Hall of Szczecin. – Such things spoil our good relations with Germany.” Well, yes, we get poked in the face for every little thing, while it’s a sin to offend the Germans.
What interests me personally in this matter is the question of justice. Things have already reached schizophrenia: when a person in Eastern Europe says that the Soviet victory over the Nazis is the liberation, he is regarded as either a fool or a traitor. Guys, let’s be honest. If the consequences of May 9, 1945 are so bad, illegal and terrible, all the other actions of the USSR are similarly no better. How could the solution by those who brought tyranny into your land be good? Therefore Poland should give Silesia, Pomerania and Prussia back to the Germans, Ukraine should return their western part to the Poles, Chernovtsy to Romanians, Transcarpathia to Hungary, Lithuania should abandon Vilnius and Klaipeda, Romania should give up Transylvania, the Czech Republic – the Sudetenland and Tesin, Bulgaria – Dobrogea. And then everything will be completely honest. But what do we have? They slander us for all it’s worth, accuse us of all mortal sins, but at the same time clutch with a stranglehold onto the Stalin’s “gifts”. Sometimes I feel like imagining: I’m curious what would have happen should USSR push Hitler back exactly to its borders and not look further into Europe after that? What would have now been left of the territories of those countries, that today, before the 70th anniversary of the Victory, are calling their liberation by Soviet troops for “occupation”? The answer is, however, extremely simple – bits and pieces.
(The map of Europe, showing territories changing hands after 1945. Only the insets are translated, leaving to the reader the country and city names as an easy exercise in political geography. The original image can be found in the AiF article.)
How Europe was partitioned after 1945
Expert opinion by historian Rudolph Pihoj
– There is a half-legendary story that during Churchill’s visit to Moscow in 1944, he and Stalin drew the map of postwar partitioning of Europe during a dinner on plain napkin. Eyewitnesses claimed that the “document” contained a series of numbers, which (in percent) reflected the degree of the future influence of the Soviet Union and the West in different regions: Bulgaria and Romania – 90 to 10, Greece – 10 to 90, Yugoslavia – equally …
That napkin was not preserved, but in principle the issue of changing of the borders in Europe was settled by the “big three” – Stalin, Roosevelt and Churchill – during the Tehran and Yalta conferences. USSR adhered to the concept that was developed already back in 1944 by the Deputy People’s Commissar for Foreign Affairs, Ivan Maisky. It implied that the Soviet Union should establish such a configuration of borders, which would ensure the safety of the country for at least 25, and preferably 50 years.
In accordance with the concept developed by Maisky, USSR annexed the former German Memel, which became Lithuanian Klaipeda. The following cities became Soviet: Königsberg (Kaliningrad), Pillai (Baltijsk) and Tilsit (Soviet), which now constitute the Kaliningrad region of Russia. Also, the USSR secured the part of the territory of Finland, that was attached as a result of the “Winter War”. In general, the Soviet policy of those years was characterised by a surprising consistency in addressing regional issues. The only thing that could not be done – seizing the Black Sea straits, although this issue was discussed in Tehran and Yalta. While Port Arthur again, as in the early twentieth century, became an outpost of the country in the Far East, not to mention the southern part of Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands, which Russia lost as a result of the Russian-Japanese war.

Plan to Destabilize Russia Failed; Kiev Regime Funnels Resources Into Nazi Western Ukraine and Sells off Strategic Food Reserves
My predictions about Ukraine are developing exactly as expected (details in PREDICTIONS and articles linked on the Predictions page). In 2013-14, while Russia was looking the other way during the Sochi Olympics, the US/West planned to destabilize Russia via Ukraine. The plan included the takeover of the geopolitically super-important Crimea, turning it into the oversized US/NATO base and kicking out the Russian Black Sea fleet. It also included the takeover of the entire Ukraine, culminating in the creation of anti-Russia on Russian borders. US was planning to destabilize and subsequently destroy Russia with the hands of the Russian-speaking, but thoroughly brainwashed Ukrainians – and make no mistake, Ukrainians are in fact Russians (more: FREE Earth Shift Report 2: Ukraine, Russia and Falsified History).
Despite long-term and careful planning, despite $5 bln spent by the US to ‘subvert Ukraine’ as admitted by Victoria Nuland, all the above plans have failed utterly. The Kiev junta is afraid, mortally afraid. Many junta participants have already left the country, including oligarch Kolomoysky, who’s in Switzerland since last year; Zaporozhie elites, most of whom are in London; families of Poroshenko and many other top-tier Kiev politicians and oligarchs.
The end is nearing; maidan-3 is expected any moment; the total collapse of the country is underway. The process I have been predicting since early 2014 is gaining momentum.
Plan B is being executed by the Kiev junta together with their Western handlers. The questions are: What is this Plan B and can it succeed?
Thanks to readers Paul and Nemo for providing great links and quotes!
Paul Plane, Host of the Plane Truth Show on Time Monk Radio, says: “Not saying it is true, but I have read statements that the Kiev regime is basically trying to funnel as much spending as possible to Galicia. Galicia will, one imagines, either become independent or join Poland, so it makes sense to put all the problems and debts on Kiev and all the assets in Lvov. A bit from a Pravda article. In an interview with the prime minister of the breakaway Carpathian republic of Ruthenia Pyotr Getsko, the following was said:
“It is clear that the truce will be thwarted very soon. There are prerequisites that have already been recognized officially that Kiev is no longer the center of all investment in Ukraine. According to statistic reports, in the second half of 2014 the main flow of investment has moved to three regions of western Ukraine – Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Ternopil regions. Therefore, statements from Klimkin and company do not mean anything. I think that they have already received an order, so they are wimping out Ukraine.
“Slowly but surely, Kiev is losing its role by moving capitals to those regions. In the Galician regions, the volume of construction and investments has been growing lately. The rest of Ukraine pales in comparison at this point. This is their vector. They work for Galicia now in an attempt to hang all the debts on the rest of Ukraine. Therefore, the Kiev government that has never become a legitimate government does not negotiate. Those, who created Maidan 1 and Maidan 2 escape from Kiev. Families of the top administration of Ukraine escape from the country as well.
“Poland is preparing for the integration of its former land – three Galician regions. The bottom line is that the trend is already visible. The plan to shatter Russia has failed, and the USA may decide to continue applying some of Maidan-related technologies, as well as Ukrainian nationalists in other countries of Eastern Europe.
“All these battalions, including Aidar and Azov, may go to Europe after Ukraine. Those people know what bloodshed is, they have learned to kill, loot and rape. They will not stop in Lviv, so they will go further to Europe via Poland or through Hungary, Slovakia.
“There will be a war in Europe, rather than in Russia. As for Russia, Putin has made all preventive decisions necessary.”
Nemo says: “Lada, you predicted a new revolution in Ukraine this coming spring… Well, the reason for it might just have materialised. Ukrainian strategic food reserves are empty – stolen or squandered. The following article, translated to English describes the situation. The link to the Russian source is in the translation. Ukraine’s Strategic Food Reserve…Runs Out Of Food http://fortruss.blogspot.de/2015/02/normal-0-false-false-false-en-us-x-none_98.html. So this is well the answer to the “What’s Next?” part your article’s title.”
Both comments are from my recent article: New Predictions: Gazprom Gears Up for Gas Shut-off to Ukraine. What’s Next?
Lada says:
What both Paul and Nemo are saying is true. Since last summer, I’ve been hearing rumors and eyewitness reports, regarding some of the strategic grain reserves and other valuable goods being transferred to Galicia (Galichina) in western Ukraine, the hotbed and birth place of ukro-nazism. Construction materials and assets are being ripped off East and South and moved to Galichina.
It was in the three oblasts of Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Ternopil (Lvov, Ivano-Frankovsk and Ternopol), where the dreaded WWII SS Division Galichina and others had been formed. These SS divisions were headed by ideologues of ukro-nazism Bandera and Shukhevich; they were responsible for executions and torture of hundreds of thousands of Russians, Ukrainians, Jews and Poles.
People throughout Ukraine have been observing huge grain trains moving to western Ukraine. Same goes for other strategic food reserves. However, the grain reserve is the most important food reserve Ukraine always must store in abundance. Bread is the main staple in Ukraine, same as in Russia (proving once again Ukrainians being the same culture as Russians).
Second half of the strategic grain reserve was quietly sold abroad to raise emergency cash. As I said in above-referenced article, Ukraine has been bankrupt since last year; however, via different corruption schemes, through Western loans and civil war, they had been hiding this fact. One of the ways to conceal a bankruptcy was to perform a fire sale of anything they could still sell.
Among other things, this also concerned the gold reserve that was shipped off to the US last summer, including the priceless Scythian gold collection (search my FT posts and YT video on that). This also includes the national Ukraine foreign currency reserve that was partially spent on weapons to fight Donbass, as well as on overpriced heating coal from S. Africa and to repay Gazprom. The rest was stolen by politicians and oligarchs.
When they couldn’t sell anything else after severing ties with Russia and destroying the country’s economy, they tapped into the unthinkable – the strategic food reserves. First, they removed these reserves from the areas where the ‘undesirables’ lived – the south and east of the country. Then, they stripped the center and north as well.
The only place where nothing was removed and where more was added was Galicia.
The above is consistent with what Poroshenko, this ukro-nazi lite, said recently. He has said that the hard-core ukro-nazi Galicia is where the ‘cream of the nation resides’ and that it is the title region and core population of Ukraine. In fact, the culture, mentality and even language of Galichina are very different from the rest of Ukraine. Some Ukrainians consider it practically a foreign country.
In addition to shipping food reserves to Galicia, witnesses also report that grain reserves were brought by trainload to the ports of Mariupol for Eastern Ukraine and Odessa, for Southern Ukraine, and shipped off via Black Sea to unknown destinations.
For a while I’ve also been warning that Poland is trying to chop off as big of a chunk of Ukraine as possible, while everyone in the West is distracted by the civil war and busy vilifying Russia, and Russia is busy fending off the attacks. I also mentioned that, more quietly, Romania is trying to do the same with Chernovtsi (also in western Ukraine), and part, or all, of Odessa oblast. Hungary, even more quietly, has designs on Zakarpatie (Transcarpathia).
Predictions:
In New Predictions: Gazprom Gears Up for Gas Shut-off to Ukraine. What’s Next?, we already discussed that Ukraine economy unfortunately will be destroyed and it will have to be rebuilt from scratch later, when normalcy returns to this territory. This also concerns the strategic food reserves, staggering debt, and the fact that the population is getting more destitute by the day. Since Ukrainians refused to pay attention for the past 23 years, the awakening has to happen the hard way.
Those who stole Ukraine’s resources are already either in London, New York or Geneva (such as Kolomoysky), or have their planes on the standby. On the other hand, Galicia ukro-nazis and armed thugs are looting what hasn’t been stolen by the oligarchs and politicians, dragging everything they can to Lvov, Ternopol and Ivan-Frankovsk. And yes, they are also investing heavily in Galichina, while saddling the rest of the country with debt. They hope it’ll work, but it won’t. After all this is over, there will be investigations and international tribunal, as a result of which, Galicia will most likely have to pay reparations.
Let me remind my readers that these three oblasts are historically the least productive and poorest agricultural areas of Ukraine. The most developed, educated, productive and hard-working areas are Donbass, Kharkov, Odessa, Zaporozhie, and Dnepropetrovsk – the same areas that want to be with Russia and are against Kiev junta and ukro-nazis. Galicia, as all of western Ukraine, Kiev and agricultural central Ukraine, always lived off the productive and developed East and South.
Looting these parts in order to enrich Galicia is done in order to weaken further the pro-Russian parts and to make it more lucrative for Poland and Romania to later take over western Ukraine.
But is this scenario really possible? Can Poland and Romania succeed in chopping off parts of Ukraine?
Here are my predictions and thoughts:
I usually say that there are times when the energy flowing into the future is clearly defined and the future is fully formed. Then my predictions have a hight confidence factor. However, there are times when the future is still in a flux. In such cases I usually see the best scenario, which I will suggest, or 2 or more possible scenarios.
In this case prediction for Romania is easy. The answer for Odessa and any part of Odessa oblast – absolutely not, Romania won’t succeed in trying to annex it. I can say will full confidence that Russia will never allow that to happen.
My readers will remember that I said in the beginning of 2014 – well before the Crimean referendum was even planned – that Russia would never allow Crimea to fall into the hands of the Ukraine nazis and Americans. Sure enough – this is what happened.
I say with equal confidence that Romania will never get any part of Odessa region. If not Odessa proper, they are at least trying to get their hands of the strategic port of Izmail, located in the southern-most portion of the huge Odessa oblast. Izmail, which was once a Turkish port and fortress, controls the exit from the internationally important river Danube (Dunai) into the Black Sea. Izmail and a large chunk of southern Odessa oblast is secluded and only connected by 2 bridges to mainland. It is also far from Russia. But it is very close to Romania. Geographically, it is easy for Romania to take it over, however, politically it’s impossible. There is absolutely no way Russia will allow Romania to have such asset. Interestingly enough, Germany and France won’t allow it either – see more on that below.
As to Chernovtsi in western Ukraine, the same answer – absolutely not. Romania won’t get it either. Chernovtsi oblast was part of reparations Romania had to pay to the USSR after WWII for siding with Hitler and occupying Odessa and other parts of the country.
Will Poland be able to annex Galicia? I can tell you that US would love for them to do so.
This is a bit more complicated and depends on certain circumstances, one of them being that after the junta and ukro-nazis are chased out of Ukraine (remember my prediction time frame: it will happen between 2016-18), Russians and Ukrainians may actually decide they don’t want to deal with Galicia and ukro-nazis. They may decide to lock them in the aforementioned three oblasts, redraw the border by the river Prut and let Poland deal with them. In that case, Poland may just get its wish, but will certainly regret it, per above quote from Peotr Getsko. He is absolutely correct in suggesting that all these armed ukro-nazi thugs will invade Europe, Poland being first in line.
On the other hand, Western EU – mainly, Germany and France – will not like Poland getting any land from Ukraine (and forget Romania). This is a bad precedent for the EU, flying in the face of any WWII border agreements. It’s a dangerous path, leading to mayhem and potential war in Europe. This is something Europeans, especially Germans, are mortally afraid of.
The likelihood of about 98-99% is that Germany, France and Russia will make the decision on borders and attribution of Western Ukraine jointly. This will signify a further rift between US and EU.
Therefore, EU (read Germany, France, Austria and Hungary) together with Russia, and possibly Belarus and Kazakhstan, may decide to put joint peacekeeping forces in western Ukraine, creating a sequestered protectorate in order to suppress the ukro-nazis there. This is a rather likely scenario for the next 5 to 10 years. But the situation will be malleable at best.
About Russins and Zakarpatie (Transcarpathia): Getsko represents ethnic Russins (local for ‘Russians’), called ‘Ruthenians’ in English. The name of Russins was deliberately latinized in Western languages so it would sound as a separate from Russians ethnicity, thus attempting to sever ties with the mother culture. I always use the correct name ‘Russins’.
Ethnic Russins, who were Orthodox, had been forcefully converted into Catholicism in 18-20th centuries, when they were under Austria-Hungary empire’s rule. Since they resisted, concentration camps were built for them and a quiet genocide of the core Carpathian population was executed.
Transcarpathia is mainly populated with Russins and Hungarians. It is firmly united against Galichina Bandera ukro-nazis, who also killed a lot of them. There is a possibility of a referendum to break away, but what these shrewd and sly people don’t want is a Donbass-like war. They will wait for the Kiev junta to weaken sufficiently, and preferably, for the Donbass self-defence tanks to enter Kiev, if you know what I mean. Alternatively, Transcarpathia will wait for uprisings in Odessa, Kharkov and Zaporozhie, and only then will they seize their opportunity to declare independence.
Transcarpathia doesn’t want to be a part of Ukraine. Most population wouldn’t mind being with Russia, but they are too remote and cut off from Russia by Galicia. Russins say that when their people need to escape to Russia from the Ukraine mobilization, they have to go through Slovakia and/or Hungary, in order to bypass the ukro-nazis in Galicia.
Transcarpathia has a border with Hungary, and many locals want to join it. I wrote about that at one point in 2014. I do think it’s a good idea. Joining Hungary may make sense for Zakarpatie, as long as the people’s referendum decides so.
My prediction is that the ultimate decision as to what happens to various parts of western Ukraine will be made in Moscow.
LRL2: LadaRayLive 2. Explosion Coming! Moldova/Transnistria – Eurasian Union vs EU
Episode 2 of LadaRayLive. Europe’s Stepchildren: Pridnestrovie and Moldova – Eurasian Union vs EU
Watch this video in HD on YouTube!
Description:
Moldova and Pridnestrovie – I call them the stepchildren of Europe. The unrecognized Pridnestrovie – PMR (aka, Transnistria or TransDniestria) seceded from Moldova in 1990-1992, following a brutal civil war, and it has been knocking on the door of the Russian Federation ever since. In February 2014 Moldova’s other area, the Gagauzia Autonomy, had a referendum in which citizens voted overwhelmingly to secede from Moldova and join Customs Union with Russia. The new party, “Moldova’s Choice – Customs Union” has been formed in the capital of Moldova, Chisinau (Kishinev), and north Moldovan farmers, who are about to be bankrupted because of sanctions, are on the march. Meanwhile, the Chisinau (Kishinev) politicians and elites continue leading the country into EU. In three months, Moldova will have parliamentary elections. The explosion is coming. Will Moldova turn into another Ukraine? Listen to the very detailed and heartfelt analysis and predictions from Lada Ray, who grew up in those parts and who knows them intimately.

Russia’s Sanctions: Who Wins, Who Loses?
Below is the new breaking info, to supplement the comprehensive info, analysis and predictions I provided in Predictions: Russia Hits West With Return Sanctions.
Russia finalized the list of products and countries banned for import into Russia.
I warned many times that the attempts by the EU to impose sanctions on Russia will backfire on the EU, and will be a long-term positive for Russia. My predictions are playing out now.
Canada, US, Australia, UK foods/agriculture/raw material imports are banned.
There is a full ban on agricultural/food products from all EU countries and Norway. The ban includes meats, fish, milk products, fruits and vegetables – in short, just about everything. Russia is a huge market for the EU. Annual agriculture/food imports from the EU to Russia total 12bln euros. Total trade between Russia and EU is about $500bln per annum. By contrast, Russia’s trade with the US is only $26bln.
Russia banned all agricultural produce from Belgium – Belgium food exports to Russia total over 400 mln euro per year. All agriculture from Poland is banned. Romania, Italy, Greece, France, Holland, and pretty much every EU country, is affected.
This would have been funny, if it wasn’t that sad! Lithuanian government asks the EU to compensate it for losses associated with Russian sanctions and says that “EU must meet the threat together, as a unified front.” THE THREAT? Let me get this straight: Lithuania had no problem jumping on the bandwagon of the EU/US sanctions against Russia; no problem with EU/US threatening and lying about Russia. Lithuanian mercenaries are a large and integral part of the Kiev junta invasion into Donbass. They play a big role in the bombings of the peaceful population, and bear part of the responsibility for the destruction of the once florishing Lugansk and Donetsk. But when they have to pay the piper for their actions – all of sudden they remember that they are threatened?! Lithuanian agricultural exports into Russia, now banned, were a substantial part of Lithuanian economy.
Finland, another (formerly) large exporter of foods into Russia, admits that it will be very difficult to replace the lucrative Russian market. Russian market accounted for 1/4 of Finland’s entire agricultural/food export!
German Association of Wholesalers and Exporters says that it is worried that the loss of the Russian market, with its large capacity, poses a threat to German economy. This loss affects not only agricultural producers, but also the shipping industry and transportation operators.
At the same time, Russia is to dramatically increase imports from Chile – mainly meat, wine and milk/cheese products. Turkey’s supplies of fruits and vegetables are to increase dramatically as well. Belarus delegation is now in Russia discussing a substantial increase in Belarus food/agri imports. It appears, Kazakhstan is also gearing for the increase of its imports into Russia. Generally, this situation is expected to be a stellar opportunity for certain countries that have been anxious to increase their share in the Russian market, but were being squeezed out of it by the fierce competition. Lines are forming and the race is on. Interviewing candidates… 😉
Russia has also announced measures to boost domestic agricultural output, and as I said in the previous piece, the ban of the European agri products is superb news for Russian farmers and food manufacturers, who were at a huge disadvantage in their own country due to competition from the EU, as a result of the imbalanced policies and proliferation of oligarchs in the 1990s. In short, as I warned and predicted previously, and as discussed in Predictions: Russia Hits West With Return Sanctions, the anti-Russian sanctions by the West will turn into a problem for the EU, and will be a HUGE long-term positive for Russia.
The turn of events is such that these will also become a long-term positive for other countries that were at a huge competitive disadvantage compared to the EU/US producers. This is awesome news as well, as it will help restore the overall balance and justice in the world – something, as my readers know, I often love to talk about. Read more about the current global imbalance and Russia’s universal karmic role in PREDICTIONS.
The ban will be for the term of one year, with possible changes and/or extensions; new products may be added. Such long-term ban means that many of the countries that lose the large and lucrative Russian market, won’t be able to get back in as their place will be taken by someone else.
NEW PREDICTIONS: There is another huge positive for Russia: having invested properly into her own agriculture (and this is finally happening due to sanctions), Russia will eventually regain its place as the world’s bread basket. Turn of the 20th century Russian Empire was called the “bread basket of Europe.” Russian agriculture, albeit damaged after the 1990s disasters, can now rise again. Russia is capable of feeding a large part of the planet with her clean, non-GMO foods. Some of the EU agricultural products, having lost their competitive advantage, will be eventually squeezed out and replaced by Russian products. I say nothing about the US, as it isn’t in the running.
In my prior articles and predictions, I discussed the trend of Russia having to take reluctant measures in response to the US/EU behavior, with these measures morphing into a long-term boon for the country. This is the long-term trend I continue forecasting. In fact, it will intensify. EU shouldn’t have poked Russia (of which I’ve also repeatedly warned). Never a good idea and always ends the same way.
Russia’s PM, Dmitry Medvedev, announced that the government will crack down on any attempt to speculate on banned goods, or to create a black market for banned goods. He has also announced that sanctions exclude baby products.
Russia is gearing for the ban on EU and US commercial flights across Russia. See article link below for specific flight time and financial loss numbers associated with such ban. Ukraine is already banned from using Russian airspace. Dmitry Medvedev announced that Russia may change rules of foreign usage of the TransSiberian routes, including tariffs and routes. He also pointed out that closer to winter, Russia may announce additional sanctions.

P.S. I have to warn that the US won’t give up despite the losing position they are in (or maybe precisely because they are in this losing position). More crazy pressure on Russia and EU should be expected. Of course, in the final analysis, this will only expedite the collapse of the US empire, but they don’t seem to be too concerned about it. Follow the link above to read more about that. Also, see my other previous articles and Predictions.
