    That was three hours, but it was worthwhile watching the speeches and questions and answers. A lot of important issues were brought up, and Putin explained his position in detail. It was good.

    I thought I saw one Japanese reporter there, but he never spoke up.

    Just now, the TV showed a couple of scenes of bombing in Donetsk, but said no one could say whether it was the rebels or the government. (I.e., if they say the truth, they’ll get in trouble. Same thing with Fukushima these days: what they are hiding is really scary.)

    Hi Lada,

    I just listened to half of Putin’s talk and I said to myself “It’s about time.” Finally the Russian leader has stopped beating around the bush in exposing the lies and hypocrisy of the west and how the west has nothing better to offer for the world than death, destruction and chaos. It’s refreshing. Before Putin and Lavrov would always be too diplomatic when talking about the west’s crimes. They would always call the western criminal and psychopathic leaders “partners” which irked me to no end. How can you call leaders “partners” who have declared basically a war against Russia. It’s almost like calling Hitler and Mussolini “partners”. I noticed now the change of tone. Mr. Putin in his speech and subsequent comments barely called the western leaders partners but instead I think he used words like “colleagues” and so forth. This dropping of the word “partners” is not by accident. He and the Russian people mean business now and they are sick and tired of the destruction and chaos the west is imposing on the world. HIs speech was music to my ears.

    By the way here is a link to sensational remarks by the French ambassador to the US basically throwing in the towel in the war against Russia. He frankly says that Russia has won, game over. This guy is one of the elites in Europe. This is also music to my ears. I love to see these psychopaths and sociopaths in agony.
