Head of Lugansk People’s Republic (LNR) Igor Plotnitsky’s has been hospitalized with multiple wounds after an assassination attempt. A powerful explosion took place next to his car at the intersection of Karpinsky and Vatutin streets. Several witnesses also received injuries.

Interview with Head of Donetsk People’s Republic (DNR) Zakharchenko LINK. He says he just visited Plotnitsky in the hospital and that wounds aren’t life threatening: ‘Plotnitsky is tough, like all Donbass people, he’ll make it.’ Zakharchenko said that their intel showed for a while that attempts on both of their lives were being prepared by Kiev. He added that there won’t be Minsk 3 and that this is the end of negotiations.

LNR security services spokeswoman: a Kiev terrorist group is suspect in the plot to assassinate Plotnitsky – LINK.

    People who do these things must be totally ignorant of spiritual laws. May The Law work its magic swiftly. I am praying for Plotnitsky’s swift and complete recovery.

    Wow, this blatant assassination attempt is straight out of a Jason Bourne movie. Must be an inside job, DNR and LNR need to clean house!

    So little coming out about Ukraine generally in msm… no coverage of this in UK msm. I saw it on Youtube! So glad that President Putin is thumbing his nose at the Minsk Accord although totally supporting its context. Ukraine is flagrantly breaking it. Russian Intelligence seems to be much better than what we have here… they are all over these planned attacks. Good stuff. Terrible that good people have to lose their lives in thwarting this evil. My heart goes out to the long suffering Ukrainian, LPR, DPR people and I envision it all changing very quickly for them in the near future.
