Great episode, did you hear German MPs nominate Angela Merkel for Nobel Peace Prize over Ukraine peace efforts, of course Putin had nothing to do with it. 😉

Yes, I meant to mention that in the episode, but the talk went the other way. Merkel for Nobel Peace Prize makes as much sense as Obama for the same. Nobel has become a big joke, or perhaps it always was. Suggest people stop paying any attention to it as it’s simply a farce.
Putin or Lavrov, who both deserve it about a trillion times more, will never be nominated – for obvious political reasons. That’s not double, it’s tripple and quadrupple standards.

The truth is blatantly apparent, just look at how non-western heads of state welcome Putin’s visit. They all admire, respects his leadership and commitment to peace. And they all love mother Russia greatly!
I don’t blame them after dealing with the corrupt West for all these years, it’s time to align with the future. 🙂

Dear Lada,
I’ve to admit that Merkel’s ambitions are an enigma. There are well-informed people like Jim Willie and Ben Fulford who strongly believe that she wants to join the BRICS alliance. But like all top level politicians and industrials she is threatened with her death if she is going a bit too far. So she has to maneuver carefully through the jungle out there. Therefore she visited Obama firstly and went then afterwards to Kiev, Moscow and Minsk – in that order. Her sudden peace initiative surprised the Neocons and they were not amused. Even if they can succeed in sabotaging the peace process and they will try it doubtlessly, this is a point of no return for her. She made a decision: this far and no further!
Remember what they did with Alfred Herrhausen, the CEO of the most influential German bank, the Deutsche Bank. They killed him like many other “traitors” in a false flag assault camouflaged as an assassination by radical leftists. Prior to this Herrhausen promoted a debt forgiveness for Third World countries. Many ordinary Germans know that and even more so do all German VIPs. But she is clever enough to estimate precisely how far she can go. My two cents.
Please keep on your amazing work, you are the best analyst of the Russian politics on the internet.

I have some observations, some of them my own and some influenced by Lada, commentators of Russia-Insider, Joaquin Flores, Paul Craig Roberts, etc. Here are some generalized and simplistic points.
1. Apart from Crimea (for purely militarily strategic reasons) Russia has no interest in acquiring any more lands from Ukraine. Everything that Ukraine provides for Russia including finished industrial products from their factories can be moved to Russia proper and done there. Eventually when Russia completes its agricultural reforms, it won’t need products from the fabled Ukrainian farmland either. Even only taking over Lugansk and Donetsk would be such a headache that for Russia it’s not even worth it. That’s why Lada was correct way back in March (it seems like an eternity) that Russia will not invade Ukraine.
2. The main reason Merkel and her sidekick Hollande went frantically to Putin was the ackowledgement that the Ukrainian army was about to collapse and something was needed to be done to find a face-saving way out for Poroshenko. This Ukrainian fiasco is every bit Merkel and Hollande’s baby as much as Obama’s. Secondary in my opinion was the threat of the US sending heavy weapons to the Kiev Junta. But I could be wrong.
3. Putin, like a good judo expert, is using the US arming the Kiev junta as a way of dividing Rumsfeld’s “Old Europe” of France and Germany from the US. There’s precedence for this. Remember the alliance of France, Germany and Russia against the impending US invasion of Iraq in 2003. However there is a very negative precedence also. Once the US did invade Iraq at least France came on board and sent troops there also. Once the US ignores France and Germany this time and goes ahead to arm the Kiev junta with heavy arms will France and Germany fold or will they fight the US. Will Germany and France have the balls to fight the US openly and in full public view. The future of a Ukraine escalation is in the hands of Germany and France. It’s up to them.
4. I don’t think there will be a Minsk 3 if this ceasefire/political resolution fails
5. Ukraine is becoming a black hole for EU expense. Russia has skillfully transferred the financial burden onto the EU. The opinion of Russia is that EU broke Ukraine, now they have to fix it.
6. Russia does not have a winner-take-all attitude towards nations. They want Ukraine to be friendly to the west and friendly to Russia. They want Ukraine to be a federation but whole and neutral, no NATO. After all Russia has very close relations to Syria and increasingly close relations to Turkey who is doing all it can to overthrow Syria. Having this type of nuanced relations with countries is a very big plus for Russian foreign policy.
7. Once Donetsk and Lugansk completely free their territory, then they will work to free as much of the rest of Ukraine as possible not through military invasion but by political means and lead by example.
8. Paul Craig Roberts has too much of an alarmist outlook regarding Putin’s intentions in the Ukraine. He wanted Russia to allow Donetsk and Lugansk to follow in Crimea’s footsteps and be allowed into Russia. He doesn’t understand the nuances and complexities involved and what Russia’s longterm strategy is. I feel for him and I at times also thought that maybe Putin’s selling out the Novorussians but now I don’t feel that way.
9. If this Kiev regime is in power many more years then Ukraine will become one large wasteland. It won’t have anymore gas transit fees because very soon Russian gas will be diverted to Turkey, millions more young and talented people will emigrate to Russia where there will be a bright future and Ukrainian factories will close down and relocate to Russia.

I’m extremely grateful your articles, your intel, your “out-tell”, and your apocalypsing (unveiling) articles. Regarding Ukraine, and how the people (mothers, in particular) are not standing for it, have you seen this video: http://youtu.be/PQjmwVC_Dts
To me, it says it all, and it speaks what many of us here in the true united states in America, actually feel.

Very interesting times we live. I have a feeling that deepest secrets are coming out, like volcano lava.
What, for example, dear Lada if you were not aware (I’ve read your comments on Merkel) there is another blast of info coming out.
As a citizen of DDR German Chancellor had the opportunity to complete her education in SSSR.
Of all places on earth she allegedly did it in Donetsk.
Chers
Thanks for Your blog!
